Actually, monks lose a lot of synergy once they’re attacking from outside unarmed strike range. Even Kensei want to stay 5 feet away
Class Feature Variant Monk can pick their Monk Weapons. You can still attack within 5 feet with a whip or a handaxe, but being able to use Ki-free Slasher once/Turn is no bum deal. Having the option to hit at 10 feet or 30 feet is nice, options win battles.
When I originally thought of the crusher feat, I forgot it was limited to once a turn. But you could always use your multi attack to perform shove attacks followed by a crusher unarmed strike to move them a total of 15 ft so long as you have the movement to follow them.
Would an enemy that got hit with Crusher still be able to hit with an attack of opportunity if the attacker did not disengage?
No. Opportunity attacks happen when an opponent moves away from you with their action. Crusher moves you away from the enemy, so you don't get to AoO them, and their side doesn't get to AoO you, because it wasn't your action that did it.
Reach doesn't affect how far away you can make opportunity attacks unless you've got a specific feat or special ability that lets you make OAs further than 5 feet from you.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

This is incorrect; reach absolutely affects how far away you can make opportunity attacks.
Opportunity attacks are provoked when an enemy leaves your reach. That's all it says; there's nothing in the rules on opportunity attacks that limits them to targets within 5 feet of you. When you are wielding a weapon with a 10-foot reach, enemies provoke opportunity attacks if they move from a position closer than 10 feet to a position farther than 10 feet from you.
Ah, thanks. I forgot about that.
So, monks could be decent with handaxes and the Slasher feat (especially with an artificer who gives them a returning weapon).
There should probably be more, but I can't seem to think of any from real life that might be slashing.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
A Variant Monk with a whip and a returning handaxe would be baller.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.

It should also synergies with the Charger feat I think. Can’t see any reason it wouldn’t.

It says you can only use it once per turn though
Only if their new position still left them able to make an opportunity attack against the attacker.

Unless one of us has reach. Then either one of us is S.O.L.
