For the Bard, does the 14th level feature require you to still use an action to maintain the object you create? Because then, you just have a Spiritual Weapon that requires both an action and bonus action to use.
You know, that's an excellent point and I did not even put that together. Creating the item on the fly would be a problem like that since it's an addendum to the previous ability.
Conversely you could also prepare that and do it ahead of time while the Wizard is ritual casting something and you have it live for 14 - 20 hours. I'd actually think that this would be the more useful way of utilizing the power.

So it’s kindof like a spell with the Ritual tag, but doesn’t work like a spell and doesn’t require a spell slot.
WHY IN GORRAM FRAGGING SLOT DIDN’T THEY USE AN IDEA LIKE THAT FOR PSIONICS!?!? You know what, don’t answer that. It’ll derail the thread. I just had to point it out.
Hey, not sure if I am reading the pdf wrong, but the link is sending me to UA Subclasses Part 1. Did they update the link, or am I just looking at it incorrectly?

You're not wrong, looks like they replaced the link. I guess the PDF was not meant for release yet, considering there was no article page and we were linking directly to the pdf itself.
Someone likely Datamined that and then posted it. So yay, sneak peek.
Impulsive Infatuation:. 2nd-level Love Domain feature. You can use your Channel Divinity to overwhelm a creature with a flash of short-lived admiration for you, driving them to rash action in your defense. As an action, you present your holy symbol and choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw; a creature can choose to fail this saving throw if it wishes. On a success, the creature is unaffected. On a failure, the creature is charmed by you until the start of your next turn, and it must immediately use its reaction to make a weapon attack against a target you designate. If there are no valid targets, it uses its reaction to admire you.
Hey, I am having trouble finding the document, and every time I think I have found it, it downloads the first part with the subclasses for Barbarian, Monk, Paladin, and Warlock. Could somebody who has found the current set of subclasses post the link here or the document? Thanks!
Good parts of love domain: The concept of tying other, willing creatures with love and respect for the other Bad parts of love domain: The abilities revolving around charming or seducing people
Edit: Charming or seducing people MAGICALLY, explicitly using magic to influence their minds and take away choice from them
My problem with that line of thinking is that Charm Person and Command are still in the game. I'd expect the Love Domain to include charm effects and suggest we all police or own games. I only say this because when I was in high school, I totally played with a guy that would have definitely used Command to say "Disrobe," to people. We eventually just stopped inviting him to games.
Impulsive Infatuation was pretty specific in what it does (spends target's Reaction).
Love Cleric is definitely a fast track to finding out which people you should not be playing DnD with and possibly which people you should not be friends with.
I don't actually think the concept is particularly hard to do, I just think it easily invites shitty, shitty roleplaying from bad people who maybe you didn't realise were such a way.

Unfortunately it looks as though the document wasn't meant to be released yet and has been removed, hence why you only keep seeing the previous UA.
@donkleberg I'd hold onto it until the UA is officially released. Woulnd't want to risk a banhammer.
@Crawling_Chaos Is this on Reddit? Much of what I've seen seems to range from favorable to "meh". In any event it'd be interesting to see if there's any such editing going on behind the scenes or not.

Hope they fix the spell list and channel divinity on the Love Domain Cleric.
I have the same issue, nor can I find it on their official page at https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/unearthed-arcana

I doubt it, but it'll be interesting if it does. Unfortunately, I didn't get a look at it so I won't know either way...
I don't know if leaks are something I should give out without expecting repercussions here, but I have the PDF.

I do like the Bard mechanically, but it is a strangely flavoured subclass. I assume Wizards knows what they're doing, though.
Anyone else think these subclasses released in the past few months are very Planescape-y (with the exception of the psionic subclasses)?
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
