Hi im looking for feedback, critques and advice on this homebrew feat.Do the maneuvers match the weapon? Should I remove some of them?have a better name that reflects this feat better?
Weapon Masterery
Prerequisite: Proficiency in Simple and Martial Weapons
Certain Weapons come with certain Maneuvers from the Battle Master's maneuver list. Pick 3 weapons to master from the list. You can preform the maneuvers(sans superiorty die) a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain your expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Some of the maneuvers require your target to make a saving throw to resist the maneuver's effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows: 8 +half your proficiency bonus(rounded up) + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice)
Club-Maneuvering Attack
Greatclub-Sweeping Attack
Handaxe-Goading Attack
Light hammer-Quick Toss
Mace-Pushing Attack
Sickle-Grappling Strike Menacing Attack
Flail-Feinting Attack Disarming Attack
Morningstar-Menacing Attack Grappling Strike
Pike-Lunging Attack
Scimitar-Distracting Strike
Warpick-Trip Attack
Whip-Disarming Attack Feinting Attack
You can take this feat up to 4 times in order to master all the weapons in the list.
Edits:
Put a limit on amount of weapons to master
Shuffled maneuvers around more, still not set though.
I'd probably switch whip and sickle, and give trip attack to flail. But these are largely subjective I think.
Also, I know it might be awkward to set up, but I'd probably limit this to have the player choose 4 weapons out of this list. You'd still have a good variety, but forcing to choose makes a player think and choices are good for character-building. Also it would be hard to justify that you mastered 12 weapons in the training time that feat tends to represent.

I agree I should specify a limit to the amount of weapons to choose from, I'll add to it that this feat can be taken multiple times for multiple weapons.
I can understand the basis for Whip being grappling Strike but why flail being trip attack? I'd be less questioning if you said let flail be disarming attack and sickle be trip.
But this is why I posted I want healthy discussion on refining this feat.
