*Oh boy. He's already got a 20 dex... That target's gonna die sooo hard.*
Yazrin smiles, and the next series of attacks all find their way to half in its armor. The first two hit the shoulders, making its arms useless. The next one hits the throat and the final one slides into its visor, doing it into another pile of armor. He withdraws the swords and spins them in his hands before sliding them into their sheaths, as he turns to face Sinclair, smiling.
"Why thank you for the assist" he says, chuckling slightly, as he takes her hand.
She bows slightly "You are most welcome"

"Forgive the mess, I am trying to regain my sanity again."
*Go ahead. She hasn't actually really met Nia yet, had she?*
*Nope* E is downstairs, reading
Soldaer walks downstairs, several bags slung over his shoulders, and he just slide a wooden carving of a tree into his pocket. He spots E and smiles. "Hey E. Lots happened here lately." He says as he takes a seat across from her. A gold ring is on one of his fingers, and his eyes have changed colors somehow. They're now emerald green with specks of gold, reminding her of sunlight streaming through a forest canopy.
"Hello, Soldaer. What happened to your eyes?"
He chuckles. "I'm not entirely sure, but you're only the second person to have noticed them." He smiles, shifting slightly, revealing what is obviously an engagement ring on his hand.
"... Either the world portal delayed my time arriving back by much longer than yours... Or there have been 2 of you during the journey. When did you get engaged?"
Soldaer chuckles. "With the way the multiverse works, either one is possible." He smiles. "As for the engagement, last week. I think I told you at the wedding that Nia, my crush from my home, showed up, didn't I?"
"Well... That was certainly very fast..."
Soldaer chuckles. "Not surprising, though. Turns out, she came looking for me because she felt the same way." He leans back. "I was just here packing up the stuff from our room here so we can truly nice into the house I grew for me and Nia."
"You made a house, as well? Of what kind?"
Soldaer grins. "A living one. You'll have to come by sometime, E. It's quite impressive, and kind of hard to miss." He chuckles. "About a mile and a half to the north. You should actually be able to see it from outside the Tavern."
"Is there anything you may need help moving there?"
Soldaer smiles, but shakes his head. "No, I have most everything I needed to get out in these bags of holding and a couple portable holes. Thank you for the offer, though, E." He pauses for a moment. "You should definitely swing by later today or tomorrow. I'd love for you to meet Nia." He says with a smile.
"Alright. Ill probably stop by in half an hour or so... I dont really have many plans today"
Soldaer smiles. "Sounds great. I'll see you then, E." He stands up and heads out of the tavern.
Shardia is waiting outside
Soldaer's smiling. "Ready to go." He starts heading off towards the tree house.
She follows quickly, standing straight, and a hand still next to.the cards
After about 10 or 15 minutes, they reach the tree house. "Here we are." He says with a smile, heading up the stairs.
She follows slowly, seeming to carefully watch around as if out of habit
*FYI, the dragon hear is going to need to levitate up the outside of the tree. The staircase is a 6 ft wide spiral.*
Soldaer is smiling as he leads the way up to the third floor, and across the platform to the master bedroom. "Alright, here we are." He turns back to Shardia, smiling. "Thank you for your help, Shardia."
*That works. She has pretty complete control over it, for the time being* "No need to thank me. Where would you like the head?"
He whistles a few notes, and a series of hooked pegs seem to grow out of the wall above the fireplace. "If you can, it should rest perfectly on the set of three in the center there." He says and he pulls the portable holes out of his pockets and opens them.
The head floats over, resting on the pegs "Dont be alarmed if you see it looking around or moving its mouth. Thats likely.to happen over the next day or so..."
Soldaer chuckles. "Don't worry. It doesn't have the breath sac or anything else it can really use to harm me or Nia."
"No.need to worry about it harming you, anyways. It wouldnt unless I commanded it to attempt to. Itll.just be alive a little while"
Soldaer smiles. "Good to know."
"Anything else you need assistance unpacking?"
Soldaer shakes his head, smiling. "Just set the bags on the bed. Me and Nia will work on unpacking everything. Thank you for the help, Shardia. You're welcome over here whenever you'd like."
She puts them on the bed "No need to thank me. Just let me know if you ever need help with anything further, or have any questions I may be able to help with
Soldaer smiles. "I will. Like I said, feel free to stop by whenever you'd like."
She bows her head "I will. Thank you."
"Of course" he smiles. "Now though, I should get to work on unpacking. Thank you again for the help." He turns back to one of the holes and pulls out the purple worm head and, with a bit of effort, manages to get it into the wall to the side and a little below the dragon head.

*Random Question TimeTM: Should a whip do thunder damage? Before you say 'No, of course not!', hear me out. A whip crack is the whip breaking the sound barrier, which is very loud, so should someone targeted take thunder damage if they're attacked by a whip? If so, what dice? I feel like a simple 1d2 is balanced, since it's not too overpowered if you got a whip in lower levels, and maybe you could upgrade to 1d4 or 1d6 once you get high enough in overall level. Or, should the thunder damage be an option for a feat, maybe call it 'whip expert' or something, and you get limited dice (like superiority dice), and can cause that amount of thunder damage with a whip attack optionally, like one d4 or d2 out of 5d4 or 5d2. Just a random line of thought I had.*

*Id rule the whip noise isnt enough on its own to deal the damage. Otherwise, those torturing are close enough to.also take that damage. Id say, however, itd be interesting to see a SPELL like that. A spell that makes the whip crack loudly enough to deal real damage. Perhaps similar to booming/greenflame blade*

*Ooh, yeah, that sounds cool, but it probably wouldn't see much use if it's special to a whip and the other spells do more for a wider variety of weapons. Besides, I'm pretty sure if you got a whip crack anywhere within a foot of you, your ears would at least ring for a while, because whip cracks are LOUD, there's a reason it's a long weapon, if the user was close to a whip in a situation where they had to crack it constantly, at the least they'd be slightly hard of hearing, at worst they'd just straight up be deaf. For reference on what I mean, a jet can break the sound barrier, making a sonic boom, and a real whip does the same, so I feel some sort of damage should be done.*
*-one or two googles later-*
*Yep, whip cracking can do damage to your hearing.*

*Wow, whips are actually pretty interesting. A standard whip averages between 90 to 120 decibels. For reference, planes and jets are usually between 120-140, and the decibels required to damage hearing is about 85. The loudest whip crack recorded was about 148 decibels, louder than most planes and even some types of rifle shots! Gunshots seem to be average between 140 and 170 decibels, so guns are even louder than most planes! That raises another question, should a user of a gun take thunder damage from their own gun if they don't specifically have ear protection?*

*Theres a difference between hearing damage and thunder damage. Actual damage needs to be able to kill you on its own. The sound of a whip doesnt really kill. Just deafens over time*

He smiles and leads her a little ways into the forest, to the edge of a small clearing around a pond. "This is one of my favorite places to relax here." He says as he lets go of her hand and deftly climbs up into the lower branches of a nearby oak. He reaches back down and offers her his hand. "Care to join me?"

*Honestly, I would say those who aren't used to it should have to make a Constitution save or be deafened, but probably it shouldn't deal damage...*

Life is okay, but who knows how long that will last.
*technically 130 decibels would cause pain, so maybe power word pain is just someone yelling really loud*
