Yo, I'm Himy (He/him) not as active as I use to be, but I'm here from time to time. I don't got much else to say.

Yo, thanks for making this! Looking forward to hopefully sorting the new roleplay thread, I’ve had a load of new ideas so I’ll hopefully put them all here in good time!
Nice. My main big question for the thread is which verse should it be set in? I’m thinking original Phantom Blood verse, since I’m not as confident with the SBR verse’s rules on Stands, Spin and especially Rock Humans, though there’s always the issue of fitting it somewhere into the original continuity (I’m half convinced to do it between Golden Wind and Stone Ocean again, since it’s a good time period and a nice callback)
However, I also want to fit Christ The Redeemer into being part of how people get Stands, and the SBR verse is obviously the perfect pick for that, though we’ll have to warp the lore a little bit to fit it. If not we could always have it that the statue turns out to be hollow and contains a Stand arrow or something, idk, what are you guy’s thoughts?
It's about time I name one of the stand ideas I had that may be in the next thread, thoughts?:
Pressure Drop (After the song by Bob Marley)-
Ability- Pressure Drop is a simple stand, yet that is what makes it it's strength. Allowing someone to adjust and change the gravity of the local area, allowing them to change direction or force with a single command. Being a power stand, the area of effect isn't large, but the user doesn't let that get in their way. It does have a secondary application of it's ability, allowing it to effect the gravity of anyone the stand attacks directly, or even increase the gravitational force applies to it's own user in some cases.
Appearance- The Stand takes an appearance to Star Platinum or the World, being physically muscular though different in some ways. The stand has four arms, each having gold and red tattoos lining up and down them. Each wrist has what appear to be large cuffs on them, the chains attached to which have been broken off by something. The main colors of the stand are those red and gold, with bits of ocean blue. It is a headless stand, wearing an open jacket with nothing underneath and large, loose pants.

Doing another Between Gold and Stone may be nice, though I do like the idea of making a Rock Human character in Rio, considering their allergy to mangos being shared throughout the entire species.
I don't think that the statue should be hollow, but I do think that it should contain a stand or be an independent Requiem stand of some kind that changes people's souls to grant them stands. Just spitballing here though.

That’s a super cool stand, I like the appearance and it seems very, very similar to C-Moon’s base ability, maybe just a bit more fine-tuned, which is sick!

That was the only issue I had with it, I don't know how to improve to make it different in some way. C-Moon does have the ability to turn people inside out, I just don't know.

Ohhh that’s a sick idea, I’ve got an inkling of an idea, I’ll have a think and get back to you! Only thing I can think of right now is that it grants a Stand to those who fell on hard times, in exchange for servitude, and it’s called 「LORD, GIVE ME ONE MORE CHANCE 」
I am interested once more, although I still don't know much about JoJo.
I already have a song picked out, but I'm not sure what kind of power would come with it. It's just called "creature" by the band half·alive. They don't capitalize it for some reason.

Okay I had a little think and I came up with three things 1. I didn’t realise this when making the concept but the statue is literally called Christ The Redeemer. It’s offering redemption in the form of a Stand. 2. I think the way the servitude thing would work is that you’d have to stay near the Statue in order to continue to get benefits from it, which would lead to a massive population of Stand Users in close proximity and could then lead to a gang turf war as 3. The main villain would run a gang that recruits stand users or tries to keep the statue to itself, and the party would fight back against them to free the city and allow anyone to be redeemed by it

Oh yeah I love that, I'm loving that idea. It also makes sense, especially with stand users drawing in more stand users. And no one else would come near because of the gang war between people with strange and unique powers. I love it dude.

Titan Pillar Man is definitely an amazing Idea, but I also think, because of it's intense power, it's a stand created from the combined wills of all of the craftsmen, you know?

I mean, Anubis is literally a sword who is also a stand, so even before it was stated that stands can exist from their crafters wills. I mean, Titan Pillar Man would be an awesome final moments, our characters taking it down Jojos/AOT style.

Hello, friends.

I already have a song picked out, but I'm not sure what kind of power would come with it. It's just called "creature" by the band half·alive. They don't capitalize it for some reason.

I need the name of another song, because I have another Idea for a stand, but I dont know any songs that would work for lightning related abilities.
Also it's good to see you back Baalze, let's hope you don't leave.
