I am currently playing a somewhat unoptimized build of a Beasthide Shifter Blood Hunter 1/ Battle Smith Artificer 6. For story and concept reasons, I'm aiming for a Order of the Lycan 3/ Battle Smith 9. As it stands now, my stats are as follows:
STR: 13
DEX: 15
CON: 17
INT: 18
WIS: 11
CHA: 9
I'm using a light hammer with the thrown weapon infusion for some limited range. I play primarily a support/ off-tank for the party. Obviously there is some minor synergy between the two class, like keying off of INT, but I want to know what else can work with this build? Does Predatory Strikes work with Battle Ready? Should I max out INT or up my CON or DEX? Would love any insight you can provide!
Maxing int seems the obvious choice - your spellcasting for both classes and your attack stats go off the same stat. It'll help in just about everything you do. After that I'm not sure, and obviously I don't know your exact play style so I can't say for certain but I'd say that there's no need to get your Dex higher. Just get yourself some medium/heavy armor and go from there.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
I appreciate the response! We have mostly damage based characters with a Evocation Wizard, Totem Barbarian, Samurai Fighter, and a Whispers Bard/Rogue. I try and play support mostly and more midline combat. So I usually use my steel Defender for tanking for the front or back line, or use or it to give/gain advantage. then I use either utility/support spells, or focus attack on the main target.I plan to take the dueling Fighting Style in the next two levels to up the damage of my light hammer. Other than that, I'm just trying to figure out how to best make the build work, as going on reddit I just see people saying don't do the build.
If you're going for support then it's even more crucial to get your spellcasting stat higher - if that's what all of your DCs are based off (I'm not sure how Blood Hunter works specifically, whether everything keys off Int or not) but maxing the chance of debuffs and maxing the output of buff spells would be a great way to play a high-impact support character.

The current version of Blood Hunter does key off Int. I'm curious if the Predatory Strikes from Blood Hunter can work with Battle Ready and use Int for attacks
No, Battle Ready is pretty explicit that it only works with magic weapons. It doesn't work with mundane weapons and likewise it is not going to work for unarmed strikes treated as a weapon.
It would not be unreasonable for a DM to allow it to work though. Order of the Lycan suffers as possibly the most MAD build in the game, and this change wouldn't do much except make your claws a decent attack option.
