Posted Oct 16, 2018The party in my campaign has an enchanted plush Owlbear that keeps watch for them and will protect its owner in dire situations. I got the inspiration from a list of low-level magic items I found online and made a homebrew item and commissioned some art for it online.
The party named it Herman, and it's adorable. It's going to utterly devastate them if they ever let it actually fight anything, because it will not last long at all.

Posted Dec 31, 2018idk if it's just me, but some monstrosities such as the owl bear seem like they should have the beast tag too, especially if they exist in the wild and are not made in some sort of lab, lair, dungeon or by some illithids or that
