Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the tarrasque fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Magic Resistance. The tarrasque has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Reflective Carapace. Any time the tarrasque is targeted by a magic missile spell, a line spell, or a spell that requires a ranged attack roll, roll a d6. On a 1 to 5, the tarrasque is unaffected. On a 6, the tarrasque is unaffected, and the effect is reflected back at the caster as though it originated from the tarrasque, turning the caster into the target.
Siege Monster. The tarrasque deals double damage to objects and structures.
Multiattack. The tarrasque can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes five attacks: one with its bite, two with its claws, one with its horns, and one with its tail. It can use its Swallow instead of its bite.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 36 (4d12 + 10) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it is grappled (escape DC 20). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the tarrasque can’t bite another target.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d8 + 10) slashing damage.
Horns. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit: 32 (4d10 + 10) piercing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 20ft., one target. Hit: 24 (4d6 + 10) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Frightful Presence. Each creature of the tarrasque’s choice within 120 feet of it and aware of it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if the tarrasque is within line of sight, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the tarrasque’s Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Swallow. The tarrasque makes one bite attack against a Large or smaller creature it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target takes the bite’s damage, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. While swallowed, the creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the tarrasque, and it takes 56 (16d6) acid damage at the start of each of the tarrasque’s turns.
If the tarrasque takes 60 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the tarrasque must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of the tarrasque. If the tarrasque dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse by using 30 feet of movement, exiting prone.
The tarrasque can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The tarrasque regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Attack. The tarrasque makes one claw attack or tail attack.
Move. The tarrasque moves up to half its speed.
Chomp (Costs 2 Actions). The tarrasque makes one bite attack or uses its Swallow.

The TPK DM: ''Utter PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''
Aaracokra / cleric
Fly above the tarrasque and smack it with cantrips until it dies
Level 1 character kills a tarraque
i unleashed it on icewindale
fun :)
Imagine if this had a ranged attack. Regardless, it probably doesn't even need it because with its sheer size and range of the tail it can reach really far. Just its tail is 20 ft, that's 6 meters! Absolutely crazy. I wonder how big it actually is
How would y’all react if a said my party of 3 killed a buffed tarrasque?
When I say buffed, I mean raised AC, and gave it capabilities to cast magic
What would happen if a black greatwyrm went against this thing?
"The Tarrasque Task of Maureen Traezk".
A level one character that can fly can kill a tarrasque. Fly out of range and shoot from distance.
It's actually surprisingly easy to one-shot a Tarrasque if you're smart about it.
Round 1:
Assuming you took a dip in Grave Domain and used the Surprise Round to give the Tarrasque vulnerability to all your damage with Path to the Grave, it's relatively easy to do 700+ force, thunder, and radiant damage in a round--if you're a 20th-level Sorhexadinlockclerfighter.
And who wouldn't want that?
Sorry to crash your party, but Eldritch Smite is only once per turn and using a fifth level divine smite is the same as a fourth.
On the bright side Action Surge can give you another bonus action which means another booming blade and more smites!
I do want to know what levels you're putting into what classes for your Sorhexadinlockclerfighter.
Commoners - TARRASQUE IS COMING RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!
Melee Fighters - We feel heavily out-matched
Archers - We only need horses and magical bows
Casters- Take out your Manual Of Clay Golems and turn to page 394
Support - We have healing - he doesn't - anymore - hehehe
Takeo_Astaroth I'd say your lying. No way only a party of 3 can kill this thing when it has MAGIC and an even higher AC than its already insane AC and he. Give us the story and I'll belive.
The scroll of tarrasque summoning is just “rocks fall everyone dies the magic item”
Forget regeneration, forget ranged attacks, forget physical saving throws. The only thing you need to add to make this thing terrifying again is a burrow speed and tremor sight. That will TRULY terrify players...
tpk time!
Hello, yes, welcome the steed of the War horseman, y'all bleeped

Oh, that was all a joke, and a reference to the infamous--and thoroughly debunked--"Tarrasque Slayer" build from the D&D Wiki:
[source: https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/The_Tarrasque_Slayer_(5e_Optimized_Character_Build)]
That being said, if you are looking to "one-shot a tarrasque," you could probably fix and tweak the build to make it RAW legal, and still do a heap of damage. Maybe something like this:
Round 0 (Surprise):
Round 1:
That gives you a maximum of 716 points of damage--although if any of your attacks miss, it will be considerably less. But, then again, if you score any criticals--or if you've got a party member willing to cast Haste on you to give you an "extra" extra action--you could do considerably more. (Especially if you get an extra action in the Surprise Round to use Hexblade's Curse).
EDIT: Alternatively, you could just take advantage of the fact that the tarrasque has no swim speed and cannot breathe underwater, by using Scroll of Tarrasque Summoning--or as I like to call it, the "Scroll of Tarrasque Drowning"--and selecting some place one mile out to sea.
But that is considerably less exciting.
