Basically the title, currently if you homebrew an item and want to give it Charges, the only place that displays those charges is under the weapon information tab itself. It would be nice if we could add that to "Feats and Traits" or possibly a section under "Spells" with notes of what the charges do similar to every other Feat or Trait. This is definitely workable, but seems like it could be improved.
Features & Traits is specifically for Class/Subclass Features, Racial Traits, and Feats. Stuff from Magic Items would never appear there. In addition, features and traits a never use “charges.” They instead use something called “number of uses” which use the same little boxes, but are not actually charges.
If your magic item casts spells by expending charges, then those spells will appear on the spells and when you use those spells it does interact with the charges. If those charges do something else, then there is nowhere for them to appear other than under the equipment section.
Edit: They are working on adding “actions” to magic items, and actions typically have spots for number of uses, so that may change in future.
This item is on a Barbarian with no spell slots, so having spell slots isn't really the intended function. But, if they add an "Actions" type thing to the Spells tab, that could work.
No, they are adding the ability to add Actions to magic items. Then, instead of charges you could put number of uses and then they might actually list under Actions and Equipment instead of only under Equipment.

You should be able to set number of uses on the Spell screen for spells

That's totally cool as well. Just being confined to the item itself is all I'm saying is not great. As long as it is somewhere accessible.
