Although the new containers feature is really awesome, there are some minor bugs:
Per the item page: https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/bag-of-holding, bags of holding have a separate weight capacity (500 lbs) and always weigh 15 lbs regardless of its contents. Moving items into the bag doesn't obviously change the character's weight carried or otherwise obviously track the bag's capacity versus internal weight carried. (It does track the number of contained items, but there are no rules about that.)
Custom items, even ones with weight, cannot be moved into containers. They also can't obviously be marked as or not as containers.
Additionally, I don't know if this is a bug or a matter of opinion, but currently you would not be able to store a mundane container inside a Bag of Holding. I would like to suggest that a future version of this feature would include nested placement of containers, such as a Bag of Ball Bearings in a purse in a backpack in a Bag of Holding. Potentially even with things in them; I don't see why you couldn't put a small satchel full of papers or medicine or what have you in a Bag of Holding.
I have since found the roadmap from the Inventory Management and Sharing Feedback Portal; that addresses my first reported bug as an already planned feature. Glad you guys are on top of this! Loving the continuous improvement.
I think the nested containers is a good idea, I had spent hours sorting my inventory, my character is a travelling beer seller, so I have a wagon and several containers with food items, tankards, custom barrels of various beers and other stuff inside, I used emojis and customising names and weights to get everything to work as my character was not carrying any of it as it was all on the wagon. The recent update has ruined all my organisation. I'd like to see containers that can be put inside a container, so I can put all my stuff on the wagon again. Also an option of things not being carried would be nice, I have a strength 19 minotaur but carrying a wagon seems a bit excessive.
So for the Bag of Holding people just a minor fix. If you customize the bag you can set the Weight to -500 lbs. Its not a perfect solution but does make the characters overall weight less. Or more tediously you can customize each item in the bag and override it's weight as 0

I can't even find the custom items tab anymore after the Containers update. Did they move it?

I can find it at
I don't remember if that's where it used to be. The items show up in the same Equipment dropdown.
Yes, the weight calculation for a Bag of Holding doesn't seem to be working.
So you cannot have custom items in a container? This is bizarre.

Yeah! Beasts of burden, saddlebags, wagons and carts, all that jazz. A character shouldn't be carrying a saddle most of the time.
They already said that weight adjustments are not part of this initial rollout.
They already announced that this is not part of the initial rollout. Custom Items are not handled by the sheet the same way as regular equipment.
Yes, it is specifically under the “Equipment” section since they cannot be placed into containers.
