Has this been changed? I am trying to create a feature for a subclass that has a number of uses equal to an ability score modifier, and it is extremely difficult to figure out how to do it. I don't see the option to do so in the level scaling or actions.
You have to first designate a “Reset Type” for your Action and [SAVE]. Then there will be a new subsection attached to your Action where you can set Limited Uses.
Hypothetically, if I wanted to set up a Limited Use function that equals a number that is half of a character's CON modifier, how would you set that up, or is it impossible?
So, I'm also building something like this, and wonder if this specific instance has been addressed:
I want to make an ability that has X uses based on a stat (I.E: 1 x Con), which I know that part is already doable and I have done already. My main concern is: How do I apply the 'minimum of 1' as a tracking thing, if the ability score dips into the negative. Is this already accounted for?
Ok, i may be making an overly complex feat for what I am trying to do even though the wording alone is a cakewalk. So I am making a feat for my campaign, one of two special feats, that will let the taker of said feat to cast a spell of up to 5th level, if they have the slot to cast it normally, without expending a spell slot provided the succeed on an Arcana check. What I need to fill out on are the fact that it adds 2 spells from the taker's spell list specifically, and the number of uses of this feat is tied to the user's spellcasting ability. The other feat will just let the user upcast a spell while only using the standard spell slot, but at the price of a different source that is very limit, think Sorcery points but for each slot above the base will cost more and more the higher you upcast. Both feats will, however, nail the user with 2 levels of exhaustion if they run out of uses of either feat. In a "How-to-for-dummies" way do I do this if at all?
Thanks for the help

is there a way to have charges with this snippet code? {{(modifier:con/2)@min:1#unsigned}}
ie its half con modifier with a minimum of 1
I don't believe it's possible. I tried 0.5 x (Multiplication) CON and it said 0.5 is not a number.

ModeratorYeah, it’ll always show a minimum of one.
