Hi experts, I have started a new campaign with a new group of friends. Yay me. My one of the party members has the Master subscription, I do not, buy between the two of us we cannot find out how to enable content sharing on this new campaign. Can anyone point me the right direction?
Hello I'm the master subscription in his campaign that button I'm familiar with as I have enabled content sharing in every campaign I have created but grim created this campaign added me into it later as a player and the link/button is nowhere to be found your time is appreciated
You have a limit of THREE campaigns that you can enable content sharing for - if you disable content sharing for one of your other campaigns, you'll be able to enable content sharing for the new one.

Hi. If there no button to enable the sharing, it might be because you already reached the maximum of sharing campaigns, which is 3.
I am a player in one campaign that has content sharing activated by another player, and I just started my own campaign, but there is no button to share content. I am only active in two campaigns and only own one. Why is there no button to share content?
Nevermind. I didn't realize that I can only share content with my players if I pay more money to WoC. Guess I won't be buying any new books.
D&D Beyond is owned by Fandom. Not WotC. You are paying for access to the toolset and online sources that can be shared with up to 36 other people. Try doing that with a physical copy of the PHB.
HI, I'm the dm for a new campaign and one of my players is able to share all the content but I'm not receiving it but the other players are. So just to clarify, I only get the shared content when acting inside that campaign right? And if so is there a way for me to create npc's for the campaign using the content?

If content has been shared in a campaign you are part of, you should be able to:
1) access the compendium versions of any books anyone in the campaign owns here on DDB
2) use character options from those same sources for characters built in the campaign only (as you indicated)
If you don't have access to the character options, check your "entitlements": click on your username in the upper right of this page, choose account and then marketplace. If, under Account entitlements it says you need to resync entitlements, click the sync button.
If that still doesn't do it try logging out and logging back in.
You can also ask the person sharing the content to turn content sharing off and then back on again.
Note that some content can be included/excluded by toggles on the home page of the builder. So, for example, Critical Role content has to be turned on (red) for anything from the Wildemount book to be available.
As far as create NPCs for the campaign using the content, yes, you can do so once you have the content issue sorted out. You will need to do that within the campaign. On the campaign page, copy the campaign link and paste that link into a url bar of your browser, then hit return. You will be take to a page where you can choose an existing character you have made or create a new character. If you don't want the players to see their abilities, you will want to make the character private. Note, however, that the players will be able to see name, class, race, and level of these characters.
Do all of your party members need to have the subscription or is it just the dm? And does the dm have access to their parties source books as well?
Only one person has to have a Master Tier subscription and it doesn’t even have to be the DM, anyone in the campaign can activate their content sharing.
Once Content Sharing has been activated, then all books purchased from DDB by anyone in the campaign will get shared with everyone in the campaign. If there are 5 players plus the DM in the campaign and the DM and 4 players each purchased one book and the 5th player activates content sharing, then all 6 people will be able to use all 5 books.
How many members are you able to have that would gain access from the subscription?
12 players per campaign plus the DM, an individual can choose to share with up to 3 campaigns (5 currently due to covid), so basically up to 3 dozen people. (More if you are in lore campaigns and other people are using their content sharing, then it’s practically ♾.
How do I add people to share with once I enable the subscription
Whoever the DM of the campaign will be creates a campaign here (Collections>My Campaigns). They invite players to join. Whoever has the subscription turns on content sharing once they are part of the campaign.

Your friend needs to do this. The toggle is in the top left of the campaign page.
Hi there,
the owner of the Master Tier subscription is the one who activates this.
They need to head over to the campaign and click the ENABLE CONTENT SHARING button (see example below).

Can you confirm that?

Now I have left the campaign in which I was a player. I am only active in one campaign. There is still no button to share content.
