The spells that come with mark of the shadow elf do not add to the known spell list. I tried it as a Druid, Bard and a Wizard. Even at higher levels. Seems like a bug.
I've looked back but haven't seen any updates on infusions...
I've recently run into the issue of trying to apply the infusion of "enhance arcane focus" to my artificer, but there is no option to apply it to a set of tools, only rod, staff, or wand. I know from the first post that infusions were still being worked on, is this the case, or did I miss something?

Unfortunately, it does mean the artificer themselves can't make use of the infused item as a spellcasting focus unless they're an Artillerist, which gets the Arcane Firearm feature at 5th level: https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/artificer#ArcaneFirearm-1138964
At 5th level, you know how to turn a wand, staff, or rod into an arcane firearm, a conduit for your destructive spells. When you finish a long rest, you can use woodcarver’s tools to carve special sigils into a wand, staff, or rod and thereby turn it into your arcane firearm. The sigils disappear from the object if you later carve them on a different item. The sigils otherwise last indefinitely.
You can use your arcane firearm as a spellcasting focus for your artificer spells. When you cast an artificer spell through the firearm, roll a d8, and you gain a bonus to one of the spell’s damage rolls equal to the number rolled.
Would there be a way for the "hombrew" solution mentioned to be something the team makes and makes available for the interim?
The major function/advantage of using the system, automatic integration of a compendium of information into an automatically updating character sheet from content purchased, is not working with content purchased and no time line can be given on when it will function.
Having a work around is okay but it does not remove the core issue.
Ultimately I think it would be in some good faith to either having a small discount for those affected OR making the aforementioned home brew solution available as an pre-made option without me having to create it myself as a sign of good faith would go a long way towards me feeling better about the situation.
Its one thing for UA to not work but its another for paid content to not be working almost 3 months later with no interim solution or compensation to loyal customers given to compensate for lost content.
Would there be a way for the "hombrew" solution mentioned to be something the team makes and makes available for the interim?
We (My DM and I after a discussion) decided to just add a rod to the character, use and attune that and just say its the characters tool as a focus
Yeah I guess is there a way we could get these items made for us? I know how to use the homebrew system but its kind of a pain to go through all the races and do this for everyone along with proper scaling on each item.
Like I understand that time needs to be there for future state but right now I would like a solution I don't have to spend significant time on implementing when I paid for content to be implemented for me?
I just wish I understood what the difficulty is. They have backgrounds from Ravnica which give you bonus spells added to your list and that was working out of the gate and seems like it should be the same functionality here. I am dispirited that today's dev update indicated that they aren't even working on the fix yet, they will start looking at it in the first half of this year. I can understand that sort of timetable for a new feature or functionality, but this is a bug, since the content has been released for three months. I'm very frustrated.
I think it’s because they’re looking to redo the entire backend of the toolset. Frankly, it’s really complicated and hardly intuitive as it is now, and given the class feature variants UA, hardly flexible.
I agree with Saidear, Adam basically said as much during the livestream. They don't want to do quick fixes that solve the problems in the short term, they have a long-term focus for this project which I find, frankly, admirable.

Yeah I get that it takes time. That is not even in question. I am sure they have a lot to do to fix the back end.
HOWEVER, that still does not fix the problem now. If there is a "simple" homebrew solution involving items why not just make them and have them available for people who bought the book and not force us to make the solution ourselves?
I get that I can fix the issue with my own workarounds and if we were talking UA or some other kind of free resource I think this would be fair to expect.
HOWEVER, I paid for the book and as part of that the book states:
"This purchase unlocks the entire contents of the book version for use with D&D Beyond, including the sourcebook in digital format and access to all the sourcebook's options in the searchable listings, character builder, and digital sheet."
Not "Parts of the book we can incorporate" but "entire contents of the book"
This is not the case unfortunately and being 3 months out at this point its a bit disingenuous that we don't have either a small discount code for future purchases or a workable item solution as a stop gap until this massive overhaul is completed. They have time to update the Blood Hunter class but not fix material for paying customers which is not making me very happy.
I've noticed that the Mark of Shadow spells do not populate on warlock list as stated. I've been trying to add greater invisibility to my warlock and none of the spells appear.
If you have the Spellcasting or the Pact Magic class feature, the spells on the Mark of Shadow Spells table are added to the spell list of your spellcasting class.
This is a known issue. You can find some workarounds people have posted in this thread.
Dragonmark variants/subraces - there are 13 of these presented in Chapter 1. All of them have a racial feature named, "Spells of the Mark" that adds spells to the character's spell list, if that class has spellcasting or pact magic. We haven't been able to model that correctly at this time, but will implement as soon as we are able to.

Can we get these made for us?
Not given the rules for publishing homebrew, no. But, it really isn’t that hard for individuals to do, nor is it time consuming—at least not if you only need to do so for one character. Here’s the process:
-use the existing spell (e.g. disguise self for Mark of Shadow) as a template for the new homebrew spell
-rename the spell to something like: Mark of Shadow-Disguise Self (or Disguise Self-Mark of Shadow)
-add any missing casters to the “Available to classes” box
-Save
Granted, the spell will show up as an option for any caster character you make, regardless of their race/subrace. That’s why including “Mark of....” is important in the spell name, so you know that you can’t add it to other casters. That may also be a reason why they haven’t done that as a “quick fix.”
I don’t know why it works for backgrounds and not for subraces, but Adam/Badeye has said that they are going to have to essentially rebuild the character builder/sheet to allow for the Spells of the Mark and they want to do it right.
Although I purchased the Artificer Subclasses, it is saying I have to purchase the Infusions as the Marketplace. I saw there was a thread already addressing it but it was marked as resolved. I tried clearing my cache and cookies but it is still not working. Can anyone help me with this? Really excited utilize the Infusions at tonight's session.
there can sometimes be an issue with caching. Please leave it another 10-15 minutes and try again. If you're still running into issues, please raise a support ticket via the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

trycontacting support, although they may not get back to you quickly enough for tonight’s game.
If you are part of a campaign with content sharing turned on, ask the person who turned it on to turn it off and back on again. I know that sounds stranger, but that has sometimes helped in cases where the “access privileges” need to be re-synced.
One final question: is the issue infusions in general or is it magic items that can be made with the infusions? It may be that you need to purchase those items that aren’t part of the free Basic Rules/SRD. I’m not sure about that, as I don’t do much with artificers personally.
I purchased the subclass and the Infusions show up but under details it says I have to buy them. When I go to the Marketplace the items aren't even listed in the items to single purchase.
We play a heavily homebrewed campaign, so the majority of the content like monsters, races, etc. Isn't needed. Just the Artificer class as a whole.

That's not an error, at least on DDB's part. Enhanced Arcane Focus tells you the item it requires in order to infuse it: https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/artificer#EnhancedArcaneFocus
I'm pretty sure any artificer can use the Enhanced Arcane Focus because it is an item bearing one of their infusions.
Ah, good point. I forgot about that. I've been sick for the past day or so so my brain's not operating at 100% :P
