I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but are there any plans to integrate Wild Shape into the stats on the character sheet? So, if someone turns into a Dire Wolf or something, the stats are reflected on the character sheet. Right now, as soon as someone uses Wild Shape, Polymorph, etc., the whole sheet pretty much becomes useless.
Already are! Go to your Character Sheet, click the Extras tab, click Manage Extras and boom - drop down menu to add Wildshape options.

I've already done that. It just adds the card there. It doesn't do any of the stuff that I talked about in my post, unless I'm completely missing something. I'm saying that I should be able to click on the Wild Shape and have it set the character sheet with the stats of the creature I'm turning into.
Look closer at the sheet of the creature you turned into. It has all the changes you need. It doesn’t overwrite your whole character sheet, instead it adds the stuff from your character your need to the beast.
Thank you for that explanation! It's still not very intuitive though. How would you use his attack? I tried to add the Dire Wolf's bite as a custom attack, but it still uses my base str modifier instead of the wolf's. Where would I have found out that this is how it works in the first place without asking in the forums? I mean, that's kind of nifty, but I still feel like it should be the other way around. This forum is for feedback and that's what I'm giving. My feedback is that it would be more user friendly and intuitive if you could click on the beast and your character sheet reflected the change.
Furthermore, is it going to use the Wild Shape's HP in the combat tracker? Do you have all of the utility when you're just using the beast's card? Does nobody honestly see my point?
You can adjust the extra’s HP from the extra’s sheet. Use the beast’s sheet as if it were your own, which is is while you are transformed. You can’t automatically roll from it, but the modifiers are displayed properly, so you can roll a die normally and add the modifier yourself. I don’t have much experience with the combat tracker, but I assume it would show the current health of your base form.
That's exactly my point. You say "Use the beast's sheet as if it were your own", but the beast's sheet isn't the full interactive sheet that yours is. I'm not looking for a workaround. I'm trying to offer feedback on a feature that could be much better. The appeal of the character sheet on D&D Beyond is the interactivity. You lose that interactivity while in Wild Shape form.
This would also encourage people to purchase the online versions of books like the monster manual because it would make them more than just reference items.
You can make a homebrew feat that kinda does what you're talking about. I made a how to on it here.
That's awesome that you put that much work into this. Now if the developers would do the same and the rest of these people would stop settling for mediocrity, we might end up having something useful. At this point I'm very frustrated that instead of trying to understand and appreciate my feedback, other people have just pushed back with weak excuses and poor workarounds. If nobody actually listens, then the entire purpose of having a feedback forum is void.
I see your point, and I agree. Use the Extras to add all your possibilities. then when you change into one, you click a check box and it mods your sheet with the beasts abilities. Also, when your "new forms" HP hits zero, have it automatically untick the box and change you back.
I used to use TOS (The Only Sheet) and this was an excel file. It totally had this ability, so I don't think it would be too hard to integrate this idea into DND Beyond.
It is frustrating too, that while using a mobile device, I have to close my wildshape card every time i need to roll dice, then open it again to see what my bonuses are. This would be another reason quick integration would be useful.
I created a character sheet for a Dire Wolf and overrode the abilities, saves, skills etc. I equipped it with a maul which is a 2d6 attack. I used a barbarian as the base class. I made the physical abilities the dire wolf then used my player's metaphysical abilities for the rest. It worked pretty well. you can override just about everything.
Agree with OP, please enhance this existing functionality so that wildshape creatures selected from the managed “Extras” section will persist as “pinned” to the character sheet until hp hits 0 or the wildshape is ended.
I completely agree with the OP. The Barbarian class has a feature that allows players to "Activate Rage," which updates the main character sheet in multiple ways. Wild Shape needs the same treatment.
Let me use the extras section to select the forms I want, but also give me the ability to filter the manual I'm choosing from (e.g., filter to Core Rules 2024 like I can with spells). When I'm ready to Wild Shape, I should be able to pick the animal form, and the entire character sheet should update accordingly—applying the temporary HP (THP) and adding the appropriate actions to the actions tab. List the animal form I am in under my name too.
Currently, when I shift into a bear, I have to go to extras and pull up a thin card. While it does let me quickly add THP and displays the proper mix of my character’s stats and beast stats, it still weirdly lists the bear’s 22 HP, even though it’s not applicable. That’s confusing.
I don’t want to run my character from a small sliver of a sidebar. I want full use of the character sheet and the ability to click buttons to roll. I see all these digital dice constantly being advertised and put on sale—yet I can’t even use them properly, can I?

I completely agree. This is VERY annoying. Negates the entire purpose of the combat tracker.
Agreed, please add rolls for Wild Shapes

I agree with op, am playing a campaign Rn and this is my biggest problem ever
