Seems like it. Ever since the WotC acquisition, development on DDB functionality, or at least communication about it, has ground to a halt it seems

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.
One of the last dev updates mentioned they were working on a new road map with WotC. No news since then. They could still be sorting things out but without any communications we don't know. I wish Joe Starr would do one more dev update to give us an idea on what's going on, even if it's just to say they're still planning. The silence is deafening.
I wish they would add it. My group is doing some homebrew for epic levels (up to 25), I expect to have to use workarounds for the pure homebrew, but since epic boons are a variant rule in the DMG I was really hoping that they had them.
Thing is its just not boons/charms and the likes thats problematic... magic weapons like flame tongues as an exemple, still do not add the their damage to the rolls. they still require separate manual rolls. its ridiculous to be dependant on Beyond20 addons for these kinds of things when you think they are literally part of the official thing that should of been done since day 1.
heres the thing... WotC has the tendency of keeping everything secret until about 1 month of release. so its to be expected that from now on we are in the dark until they are ready to release something. not to mention the D&D direct every years now. so they might just literally wait for that every year just to give you feedback on whats been hapenning and whats coming.
overall... we can expect the thing to go forward because of WotC, but we also can expect to be kept in the dark forever and ever now.
more then anything they are probably already working on One D&D and redoing the entirety of their work on this website to accomodate it. they have to be ready for it since it comes out in less then 2 years now.
its unfortunate as it is that they could never finish their own stuff in time... but i think the beyond team were left alone for way too long and their politics of "let's get something working and then rework it later" just back to bite them... next time do it right from the get go. i understand things being different year after year... but a database shouldn't need to be remade every god damn book.
heres me hoping the next iteration will be something betterly thought of. and working with actual official rulings in their entirety.

It's 2023, is there any more word on this, or do we just have to homebrew feat versions of the boons?
Given that Epic Boon rules may alter with the release of One D&D in 2024, it is unlikely we'll see any development until then.
So yes for now just make a feat or magic item with the effects and add those to your sheet.

still nothing? even after this long. this really is just sad. you would think that they would at least have a dev post something to the thread to keep people informed. I was really looking forward to using boons and other features. I figured if I waited patiently enough that they would implement it, but it seems that they have forgotten about this entirely. of course, I could just be dumb or blind, after all the only source of information that I have is from my activity using the site and its features as well as this thread.

Chris Cao literally wants to end DnDBeyond
why would he want to do that. didnt they just spend a buttload of money on aquiring it and reports showing just how much they expect to earn from it? seems kind of counter productive. and if that was the case why would they continue to put out content for it at such a fast rate?

All Epic Boons are turning into Feats in, like, what, a month? Why would they create an entirely new system to handle them when it’d be wasted work as soon as the new DMG lands anyway?

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB

Is it still on the list? Because I can't figure out how to add them. (3 years on)
You have to create them as homebrew feats.

Thanks. I'll give it a try, but I don't feel like we should have to homebrew something that's in the core books as standard.
You’re right, we shouldn’t.

Is it possible for you to share these magic items?
Magic items? Epic Boons are not items, and the workaround to implement them as homebrew is to use feats. That being said, no, nobody is allowed to share them publicly, that’s why a very helpful community member explained how to implement them all as feats that you can create for yourself: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/general-discussion/126940-how-to-quickly-and-easily-implement-every-single).

Is there still no preset way to add Charms, Blessings, and Boons without learning how to make it ourselves as "homebrew"?
Checking in 2023

Any news in 2023?
Can you add Epic Boons to a character sheet? Me neither. I guess that means no news.
