I have my players make use of the Notes>Other section to record anything that can’t be captured elsewhere in the character sheet. Running Theros so it’s been a great place to record supernatural gifts and piety rewards.
Long-time DM, but first time player using D&D Beyond. After leveling up, I realized the HP input is lacking quite a bit. If I am manually rolling, more mental math is needed not to mention the realization that it sums up your CON modifiers for your current level. One of those things that once you get it, you get it. But it definitely took me getting over a hump to realize how the calculations were being made and I still make a point to physically write down my rolled HP at each level because I can almost count on my digital character sheet getting messed up somehow.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was already brought up, but it would be wonderful to have options to change up the character sheet depending on the Universe, etc... Don't know how difficult that would be, but if anyone's heard anything of it possibly happening please let me know. If we had that ability, I think I could get a lot more of my friends to use this site.

Do you have examples of anything specific you feel needs to be changeable? Your request is somewhat vague at this point. You can already customize the theme and colors of the character sheet, is that what you mean?
Book of Vile Darkness marks all types of knowledge-esque skills as having expertise, when it only applies to checks for evil creatures, objects, items, etc. This in effect grants the character proficiency in the associated skills for free. I would recommend effects like that granted by items be annotated in a different color, so as to avoid confusion. Further, spells or other similar effects could be done the same way, so skills and/or expertise marks granted by items are, say, green, and same from spells could be marked with blue.
Will there be any changes to reflect the new joke that is the racial stats change? I just cant wait to have a Kobold Barbarian with a 16 strength and a 6 Intelligence. or my Dwarf with a 17 intelligence who can Dual wield Short swords until lvl 8 when I can give him Polearm Master and warcaster? as it stands you cant replace the racial weapons proficiencies. Now a dwarf is better than a Variant Human for most casters if you plan on going past lvl 8 (at 1 you can make your 16's as 17's but lose the feat; at 4 you get the feat at; 12 you take your 17's to 18's; at 16 you max your casting stat; at 19 you max your other stat or you take another feat ALL WHILE WEARING MEDIUM ARMOR AND HAVING PROFIENCY IN ANY TWO MARTIAL WEAPONS OF YOUR CHOICE so warcaster with a halberd and polearm master.
Right now, it is just an AL change. When Tasha’s comes out it will be an option in tha book. Dndbeyond has stated that they should be ready for all the options when Tasha comes out.
It would be nice to have the option for spells such as Shadow Blade (I haven't tried any other spells) to create attack roll options automatically upon casting them. Current work around was to create a custom attack but without having the damage included due to not always casting it at the same level. This means if I am using the character sheet for rolling i have to roll hit on the attack page and then swap over to the spell page to roll damage. Not a huge inconvenience but took a few minutes figuring it out.
Shadow Blade should have the attack roll. That seems like a bug or missed feature. Mord’s Sword and spiritual weapon act almost the same way, and have the attack roll.

Alternatively you could add the damage to the weapon, and adjust it if you cast it at a different level than last time - given its 1 minute duration I don't suppose you cast it every round, or even more than once per combat?

Mordenkainen's Sword and Spiritual Weapon use a melee spell attack, Shadow Blade uses your melee/thrown weapon attack, thus not using your spellcasting ability. Being the finesse weapon, the section that deals with your spells and relies on your spellcasting ability would now make the decision whether to use Strength or Dexterity. I'm not saying it's impossible, but currently there's already a section doing that (see adding it as a custom attack or even as a custom weapon even), and a usable workaround, there are other features that needs the developers' focus, I presume.

Some how this hasn't been mentioned, but feats in the drop down menu do not seem to be considering/applying prerequisites. Also, in the feat description text for the feat, the prerequisites are not shown.

It works just fine for me - all the feats that are not available are separated on the bottom under the Unavailable Feats, clearly showing their prerequisites. Which feats are appearing for you in the dropdown that should not?

I'm not understanding the wild shape dynamic in the character sheet. How do I pull up a list of wild shapes to choose from? It is also only showing two wild shape slots, even though that should be increasing with rest. I also am not sure with this character sheet how to use the wild shape to call my familiar.

-if by "slots," you mean the boxes to check off your uses of wildshape, there are only 2 because you get two per short rest. If you click the "short rest" button, click the "take short rest button" and then click that same button when it changes to "confirm," those slots will reset.
-to see the options and stats for various wildshape options, click on the Extras tab, click on "Manage Extras". Under "Add an extra," choose wildshape as the category, then check "filter using wildshape rules". you can filter by other attributes if you want. Look through the list; you can click on the little down arrow to see their statblock. Click add for any beast you want to add to your list. Once you have, any beast you have added will show up under Extras.
Maybe a detail but I'm wondering why portraits are so tiny? One of the most fllufy stuff is good choosen or made portrait. I think it should be six times as big on the main sheet and at least twice as big on the righ-side slideframe

I presume (and this is just my thought) is because storing portraits in high resolution is very costly in storage; depending on choices the current images might take up more storage space than all the rest of your character sheet (maybe except for the free text notes). Multiply it by users and characters, and then most of the infrastructure cost is just to store the portraits...
If storage space for images was the issue, there would be a limit on the number of homebrew things you could create, as they are allowed to have larger images
Some of us have several dozen characters, but I believe everyone can have unlimited homebrew.

Spell Sniper only doubles the range of the cantrip gained through the feat, instead of affecting all ranged magic attacks.

Is it possible to add some kind of marker or box (like when casting a spell, you check the box) for concentration spells?
