A few things that I would like to have implemented.
1) Being able to upload a picture of a map to the Notes notes as it will be easier for my players to see (I have a very, very large map for my home game and my printer would not be able to print it clearly)
2)Auto change. lets say something costs 9 copper pieces but as the adventure has just begun your players have only done the starting gold of lets say 10 Gp. Hitting -9 copper on the currency tab dose not make it so you have one less of the next highest tier and give 10 or 2/5 (for Gp to El to Sp) of the next tier down before subtracting again to end up with the correct amount. IE: 9Gp 9Sp 1Cp Or 9Gp 1El 4Sp 1Cp(I am not a programmer and I know that sounds like a pain and a half to implement but it would be very nice to speed things up) money at the start of the campaign is more important then late game for small things but getting held up on each small transaction gets old. (maybe make the El piece an option to turn on or off I can't be the only one who doesn't want to use it for sake of simplicity in game.)
3)Be able to search the books based on page number. Right now there are chapters but no page numbers some of my group are new to the platform and tell me what page something they want is on and in which book (so I can double check as dm) but I don't have all the physical books so adding that in to the search would be very helpful if not very time consuming to edit in.
I can't program but I have taken a class on it so I have a huge respect for people who can do it.
Could you make an additional toggle that makes it so that players can track exp without it leveling them up when they reach the next level automatically?
I run a campaign with a slow leveling progression and players do not get to level until they spend down time reflecting on thier progress to grow as adventurers. They may get 2 levels in 1 downtime based on accumulated exp but I cannot have them track that in DnD beyond.
Thank you for taking time to consider this feature.
I have only used HotDQ and RoT so far, but I find that the publish modules need WAY more links. The D&DB Table of Contents (ToC) navigation seems to be organized to strictly match the format of the books, instead of making it easier to use by taking advantage of the digital nature.
Maps should have their own links in the ToC. Ironically, maps have their own ToC entry in the Rise of Tiamat book, but they are missing from the ToC in D&DB.
Each numbered area of a map should have it's own link in the Table of Content. HotDQ Episode 8: Parnast has ToC links for every area, but in the same chapter, the much larger Skyreach Castle does not.
Areas mentioned in the module, should have links to those areas. For example, in RoT Episode 2, Ice Caves Area 6: "The chute drops 60 feet to the top of the ice platform in area 16 in Arauthator’s lair" - this should be a link to area 16. Since there's also no link in the ToC, you just have to scroll around to find it.
Chapters mentioned in the text should link to those chapters. The Outline of Episodes in Rise of Tiamat is a great example of where this should be added.
I would love to be able to roll back changes to my character sheets.
For example, if I spend 200gp, but due to the breakdown of coins that I am carrying, I don't have that in just gold coins, it doesn't take the leftovers from the other coinage, so I can easily spend less than I should be without realising. Even if I notice that my total gold goes down by eg. 143 instead of 200, I have to know that I only had 143 gold coins to correct it, which I may not have noticed.
Alternatively, just not letting me "subtract" more coins than I currently have, would be a better way of dealing with that specific scenario, but there are certainly other times when having a "previous versions" list that you can revert to would be handy (like Google docs does)
I don't know if anyone else has requested this, but I would be very grateful for the ability to create homebrew classes, instead of just subclasses. I have a few that I made that i wish I could use on the site's character sheets.

yep that is already a thing that they are looking into... (I looked it up when trying to make a class for one of my players) I don't know if or when they plan on releasing that though.

Is there any thought to adding a Custom Equipment Option, as I build my character I have a couple custom setting weapons and armor that I would like to add to my sheet, and the magic item creation system doesnt quite do it for me.

What are you trying to make? You can add a customized item in your inventory. Go to Equipment > manage and on the bottom it should say 'custom items' > Add custom item. It will create 'unidentified item x' and you can just rename it to whatever you want (say a bag of jelly beans) and assign a weight and value to it.
If you want something interactable like a weapon or something then you would use their magic item creator.. note that the item doesn't have to be magical, its just a catch all term they use for their item creator.
I feel it might need mentioning, but in the original post, Badeye linked a site for all feature requests and voting to take place. Replying to the thread with feature requests would not be the best procedure here, given that a direct link was provided for a place to do such. Again, please see:
I would like options for sharing my characters through the public links.
For example, currently there is no way (that I know of) to enable the sharing of the Description, Notes, and Extras.
Please and Thank you!
Agreed, one player tonight had to leave early but left his character with us to be used. I wasn't the campaign owner, so I could barely see much on his character to help choose actions to take or how to best roleplay them. Somehow I could still spend their spell slots though.. A full read-only would be amazing for public characters.

This is certainly planned. We removed the ability to see Description and Notes early because within the first 24 hours of releasing the newly-revamped sheet, bots started crawling our data to spoil character information from popular streaming shows.
Removing those fields was the quickest way for us to address that problem. We can bring them all back in a more secure way, but it'll take a little bit of development work that we haven't been able to prioritize yet. As I said though, definitely planned and we'll update as soon as we can.
So "Inventory Management Enhancements" is still not in progress or even upcoming? I have been playin in 2 groups and both have stopped using D&D Beyond for the same two reasons, 1. inventory management is worse than using pen and paper and 2. their is no offline access so in person games require internet and power for 6 PCs. The internet power issue is not a big deal for one game that is online some times but since inventory management is so poor both groups changed to the MPMB character sheet and use a google drive for access anywhere and document sharing.
Is there no hope for inventory management in the next few months? If not I will follow my friends and drop my subscription. I am the last hold out because I have seen "Inventory Management Enhancements" on the Feature road map so I have been holding on so I could tell them when it happens but I keep seeing other features added and moved ahead of this so It seems like this is the very last thing anyone wants do implement. It's also the very first thing I ever posted immediately after looking at it the first time, that I could not use the inventory management for our games.... over a year later our players are just tired of keeping two character sheets to have dropped D&D Beyond.
Someone tell me there is hope for this character sheet system because I really like it as a database and wanted it to work for group... it just never has. (I know some people are going to reply its fine, but the answer is its fine for YOU, both my groups require actual inventory management and tracking of encumbrance. If your not using encumbrance or tracking gear at all with magical unlimited arrows and bags of holding with unlimited weight instead of 500lbs limits... your not playing our style so of course its not a problem for you. We like the way we are playing. Our problem is not D&D, its our inability to use the D&D Beyond character sheet to play it. … I write this because every time I post on inventory I get "those" dismissive replies and it doesn't change that I still need inventory management and over year and a half I still can't use this sheet. )
… I don't expect a real reply, I am mainly just venting my long standing disappointment in a system I have been really hoping to become functional since day one.

The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
Actually, I am using the MPMB character sheet for inventory and sharing it on a google drive in case I can't make it and the party needs something. I really only use D&D Beyond when playing a game on Roll20, using D&D Beyond for spell slot and health tracking. I use the local copy of MPMB for everything else. In person games I just use MPMB in a binder with clear sheet protectors, which I write on with dry erase markers for spell slots and healthy (including temp). This saves the paper from eraser stains and tearing, but I have to reprint almost everything each time I level and type up my notes separately to incorporate later.
.. Along with horrible inventory management, D&D Beyond needs some work on its note taking functions (which is on the features requests but not planned at the moment). Again, the lack of a sufficient note taking structure requires me to take separate notes again voiding the point of an online digital character sheet. After venting my last post, I finally let got of hope and ended my subscription. As I mentioned I was the last one between two groups of friends holding out hope so its a bit sad, but I have been paying for almost 2 years for something I have not been using and all indications seem to show that development is headed into a multitude of other options that people who apparently don't take notes or manage inventory want. As a result me and mine are left behind. As disappointed as I am, I get it. We are apparently the small voice in tempest of desires for the future of D&D Beyond and business will follow the largest volume to where the money flows. Business is Business. I will just have to add this to a long list of games and products where I was in the minority on a topic and it left us behind to become something other than what I needed/wanted. Now, I just come here to read the forums once in a while. I prefer Enworld for that as I like there "you have a comment, like or reply" notification system better. However I really like the D&D Beyond videos interviews. Adam Bradford or Todd Kenreck are both pretty entertaining and patinate which makes what could be boring news updates and dry interviews, interesting and enjoyable to watch. So honestly D&D Beyond as a D&D news outlet has been pretty awesome.

I may just be missing something, but a tab that is the source books you own on the program would be helpful.

I would like a way to allow people to use my character creations options due to my book purchases, without having to put them in a campaign!
This can't work, they'd never get any subscriptions then. Others have already requested a "family account" that might be in the works I've read.

Hi Clayton
I've raised this one on this thread previously.
Ideally there needs to be a way to flag items as being in a bag of holding and then have a separate weight value total for the bag.
My dm is itching to tell me I've gone over the weight capacity and that my bag has broken.
By the sounds of it you're doing the same as me and copying your character then deleting equipment that's not in the bag to give a bag total.
considering how common place the use of the bags is, you'd think this would be a fix they would implement.
