You can add custom skills to your character sheet by clicking the manage skills link. I don't think this is quite what you're looking for but it's simple enough and hopefully helps until they do add that feature.
Okay I'm gonna spam a few features so they can be individually voted on (not that many of you do that anyways):
Custom Actions lack a "to-hit modifier" without it, we can't (easily) create custom attacks to simulate Sharpshooter's/Great Weapon Master's -5/+10 modifiers (damage works, but not to-hit)
Homebrew Creations (and Collections) should be separate lists split by type (feats, subclasses, ...) instead of one giant list that needs to be filtered.
Feats that include learning spells lack the option to only learn the spell without giving free uses. If you set the uses of a spell to 0 (or empty) it becomes "at will". Suggestion: -1 = at will, 0 = (only learned, use spell slots), 1+ = Number of free uses (use spell slots afterwards)
Please make the "Spell list" field for custom spells optional instead of mandatory. I have a few custom spells that I plan to give specific characters that aren't supposed to be on any spell list.
would be nice if there was a way to compare player's character sheets easily in a single page, vs having each character sheet open in a different browser tab.
for example, I'd love to quickly see who has inspiration, or what each player's current HP is, AC, walking speed etc.
basically the "Active Players" section of the campaign page, but with toggle-able info displays
I’d like to be able to switch off more sources when creating and and editing characters and campaigns, and for the sources I switch off to actually have their stuff removed from the lists.
if I’m not running a Critical Role campaign, I don’t want the language list cluttered with things like Zemnian, or the Chronurgist making Diviner obsolete. Ravnica stuff is the same as Exandria; it shows up even if you turn it off.
If I’m not running Acquisitions Incorporated, I don’t want the spell list cluttered with its jokes.
If I'm not running Spelljammer, I don't need Dralasites Plasmoids and Yazirians Hadozee showing up on character creation lists, requiring me to yet again explain to players why I'm not using everythingever published in every single game.
If all you run is Forgotten Realms, then anything goes because the theme is 'gonzo' and the flavor is 'NutraLoaf', but for any other setting, ingredients left out can be as important as those included.
The nameless Basic versions of spells aren’t necessary when the original Mordenkainen et. al. versions are present. The Baldur’s Gate backgrounds are unnecessary duplicates most of the time, and again assume everything is FR.
If you can’t get the filter switches to work, could you at least more clearly mark sources?
it would be even better if these filter switches could be set as account-wide and campaign-wide defaults. If someone creates a character from my campaign page or imports their previously-created character, the material I’m not using should be removed.

I would like to see a more standardized way to mark such things as Epic Boons, supernetural gifts, or lycanthropy/undeath. I understand why there aren't currently such features in place, I'm sure it would take an immense amount of effort to catalog it all and make it functional the same way other similar features like feats work, but I would nonetheless really like to see it happen.
Another thing I'd like to see is a way to mark class/subclass specific companions in "Extras" (e.g. Wildfire Spirit, Iron Defender, Homonculus, etc.) If I understood correctly this is already a work-in-progress but is difficult since currently there's no existing framework in which creature stat-blocks take information from player character sheets, like such creatures do. I'm still mentioning it in hopes that it gets higher on the priority list. At the very least, I would like it if there were placeholder "default" versions of these statblocks to include until if and when we get functional automatic ones. Eg. Homonculus Servant infusion stat-block "default" version would state all set in stone properties of the homonculus like its strenght, AC, immunities etc. and by default have a max HP of 1, +2 proficiency, and understand common. It would be easy to then manually edit the few character.based stats as needed, like giving it extra languages or a higher max HP, and less cumbersome than editing an existing monster stat-block all the way from scratch.
Add a class forum for us blood hunters to discuss things about our class. Why are we the only ones who need to use generic game mechanics or tips & tactics?
I get that blood hunters technically aren’t official, but they are featured in beyond right next to all the official ones, and I think they deserve their own class forum.

because they only exist on DDB as part of the sponsorship deal with Critical Role since they also use the site to make their sheets and run the game. They're still a homebrew class, and the class forums are only for official classes.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
I would be shocked if this wasn't already requested.
⭐️ Character / DM Session Journal ⭐️
All of my session notes are kept in a separate program from D&D Beyond both as a player and DM. It would be wonderful if there was a character/DM journal feature connected to the player sheet or campaign that would allow for individual session notes, keeping track of in game date, important reminders, etc. with full formatting capabilities.

That sortakinda already exists in a limited fashion. As part of each campaign there are “DM’s Private Notes” and “Public Notes” sections that can be used for these purposes. They’re not fantastic, but they function. I just wish there was also a section the players could access to track communal party notes as well.
Yes, I'm aware of those and as a DM and a Player, they never get used by me as it just isn't helpful. It would be great to have it more organized by out of game date and have filters/search functionality so you can easily look back on notes in the moment.
For right now, I'll continue to use OneNote but it would be great to have it all in one place.
I don't know if this has been brought up recently, but I have a couple wish list items for compendium & adventure layouts:
A button to collapse the table of contents sidebar because it takes up a lot of space on the page. Maybe making it float over text or having text wrap around it to be able to use the extents of the page below the TOC would be better? On a tablet it's not the greatest user experience.
Search function to limit searches to specific compendiums/adventures/books.
Agreed about being able to make notes. I use a note taking app, but being able to make notes and put references into compendiums/adventures would be a fantastic feature.

Oh, I agree with you wholeheartedly, I just wanted to be sure you were aware of what’s available.
While it was probably already requested before, I feel like, with the addition of Spelljamer, we really need the option to include vehicles in the combat tracker, and even more important, we need to be able to homebrew them because let's be real, most of the ships come with pretty basic weaponry.

Likely already requested, but I’d like to see a Sorcery Points on the Spells page just to make that easier!

also a way to custom sort "My Campaigns"
Mnn. Character keeper mode, primarily for the GM. Yeah, that would be good.
