I would love a method to easily toggle common spell effects on the character sheet. Spells like Bless, Haste, Mage Armor, or Aid which are often cast many times once someone in the party takes it. It'd be great to be able to add those to your sheet somewhere and quickly toggle them on and off. Even better if they could be set to automatically override the appropriate stats when toggled.
I'm envisioning a space similar to the conditions area. Clicking in it would open up a list of pinned spells you could customize from a master list of all buff spells in the books you own plus the ability to homebrew custom spells or effects. When someone in your party takes the Aid spell, for example, you could pin that spell from the master list to your personal list. Then, when they cast that spell in game, you can toggle it on, which automatically adds 5 to your max HP. Toggling it off removes this override. For custom effects, you could give it a name and add overrides to it just like other homebrew content.
DM's would be able to use this on monsters, also, for buff and debuff spells to help them remember when something like Bane is in effect. This would be incredibly helpful in managing encounters where a party has a large number of spellcasters or if you're just like me and are terrible at remembering the multitudes of effects in the heat of combat!
I would also lump in feat options like Sharpshooter- they would be programmed in the same way and could be implemented at the same time
Please add variant rules options in the character creator. Specifically Spell Points. This system works well for certain types of games but must be tracked outside of dnd beyond. Would be amazing to track spell points on your digital sheet.
May have been mentioned before, but in character creation it would be nice if under the spells it showed you if you already know it from another class! Particularly useful for higher level character creation!
Nothing major just a small quality of life improvement haha

I think the home screen should be removed from character creation. The DM should set ALL of that. And it is a completely overwhelming and unfriendly page for new players.

You can create characters outside of campaigns though (and I'd wager that's how the vast majority of characters are created), and may be in several (or none) campaigns at any given time. Each DM might have different limitations / allowances too.

An option to create for a campaign might be useful, though might require a significant change to character creation flow.

Not if it just skips the home page and goes straight to Race. In fact, that seems to be about the simplest way to go about providing the option: just skip the home page when doing a "Create for Campaign," as the DM would set the campaign restrictions (which wouldn't be enforced except through C4C,) then let the home page appear as normal on the character sheet (and still be adjustable if they decide to visit it) afterwards.

Let's not also forget that the Homepage for Character Creation isn't just stuff the DM should set.
Sure, most of it is, with things like: Sources Allowed, Optional Features, Advancement Type, Feat/Multiclass Prerequisites, Encumbrance and Coin Weight. (6 Options)
But there are other stuff that are things the Player should control, like: Dice Rolling Enabled, Show Level-Scaled Spells, Ability Score/Modifier Display, Character Privacy. (4 Options)
Then there's Hit Point Type, which can fall into either category - I've seen DMs tell players whether it's Manual or Fixed, and I've seen DMs say that it's the players choice, but they must stick with that choice.
Even if there was a "Create For Campaign" option, that wouldn't necessarily bypass the Homepage - at best it with still have to bring the player to a shorter homepage, for toggles/options they still control.
Feature request: Keyword field for search filters.
For example, I wish the Monsters search filter had an option for Keyword so that we could search for specific kinds of attacks. Right now I'm looking for creatures that have a charge or pounce attack.
A way to manage NPCs for a campaign without revealing their sheet to players. A way to manage NPCs without fully modeling them in D&D Beyond. I currently use inactivated players so that they won't show up in the Encounter Builder. I am not sure whether the players can see these inactive characters. If they can, currently I would just let it slide because only NPCs that sometimes travel with the players really need a full sheet.
I really need to know if the development team is working on homebrew folders. I wish I could help, but can’t. It doesn’t even need to be folders that can have folders in them, just folders. Also, can we get this request and vote into a monthly thread in a forum. I think it would be super simple, and help to reduce the clutter in this thread.
A way to homebrew Eldritch Invocations, and Fighting Styles.
As much as one can say that you can recreate book content on DDB, you cannot homebrew invocations or fighting styles. This leads to being unable to actually use certain content without some users potentially having to buy it twice. Or outright being unable to use or implement certain content, when even entire subclasses can function. If you use a feat to cover it, then you have an empty choice constantly 'alerting' you to an option not picked, and an extra feat showing up.
It would be great if you could set Parameters and custom configs for your campaign as a DM in DnDBeyond. For instance, When I create a campaign, establish which races, feats, classes etc... Then also tie this in to the encounter builder and such, so that we can specify which source materials (eg, ones we own) and maybe establish monster themes for our campaigns so the builder is already "filtered" for our preferences.
Also for homebrew (especially magic items) it would be nice to a "DM only" section with notes and features that only the DM can see. Thereby allowing for hidden properties on an item that the players only discover through usage.

You can put that kind of information in a spoiler in the magic item’s description and it will be completely invisible to the players unless/until you move it from the spoiler to the normal description.
I would love for there to be ways to create homebrew classes, and for Homebrew tools in general to improve in terms of accessibility. It would be a gods-send!
where and how do you do this? I've not seen this, so must be blind...
I assume your asking about spoilers. I was curious about this too, so I opened up an item I created and looked over all of the blocks. Then I started checking the tags in the Description block by hovering over each one, et voila, there it was. It is an exclamation point (!) icon.

You have to understand, there are so many things you could make with a homebrewclass. It would take forever to put it all into a homebrew creator. There are a lot of requests for homebrew subclasses, but it is too hard to make one of those.
I do want to request that the slowed condition can be enables/disabled from the first screen you see when making a character the standard way. It would help out a little, but it does sound like a stupid request for that, because it’s playtest material.
You gotta understand how much time and effort the devs put into DDB.

It would be awesome if sidekick creation were as easy to make as a PC is.
