I know the partnered content is gone but I thought that if you already had a character I would still be able to use some of it. I was editing my Renegades upgrades as part of one the abilities the class has and while doing so I lost the content. Is there away I can get it back?

I know the feeling. I am currently playing a renegade in a small campaign and now I can not access my character or review the content. I figured the content would be up longer but oh well. I hope the official content gets released soon.

It was never “official” nor will it ever be. It was made by a different company than the one that makes D&D, WotC. WotC has a partnership and licensing agreement with the company that runs this Website, Fandom Inc. For whatever reason (nobody really knows) there were some legal issues with DDB hosting that product, so DDB had to take it down.
If the character already had their subclass on it should not have been affected though. That may be a bug.

Did you accidentally remove the subclass, or did something else happen? Were you trying to swap guns and something happened?
There was a problem a while ago that whenever a UA subclass got archived, the subclass options would no longer work. I know that got fixed. Now these subclasses seem to be exhibiting the same behavior, which is unfortunate. But I know they fixed it before for those, so they should be able to fix these too. We just have to wait for a Moderator to notice this thread so they can pass the message off to the Devs and get the switches flipped back on for us.
But it should not have been removed. Just because the Content was Archived, the PCs should still be playable as they are with archived UA content. Something screwy has happened here.
That is exactly what happened I went to switch one of the upgrades and then lost the ability to chose any. After that i just went to see if I could switch guns and I couldn't. Glad to hear its a bug and that its being looked.
Some people created private homebrew copies of the Runeterra classes while they were still active. As private homebrew, they don't have any of the restrictions on the archived content and can switch around freely. One can't publish those copies though, or advertise that they still have them. Nevertheless, if you ask around, you may find someone in your circle willing to lend one of those copies to your campaign and fix the issue.
Any word on when the fix will go live so we can use our already made characters again? Thanks.
They never give ETAs. I’m honestly surprised it isn’t fixed already, considering how quickly the UA subclasses got fixed.
This has probably just been put on hold because they have the Devs working like crazy to get everything ready for Tasha’s launch in November. I imagine them all in tight, dirty cramped quarters with banks of computers like oars on a galley. Up ahead, another person keeps a fast pace on a large skin drum while a stern taskmaster paces up and down the isle making sure they all keep time with the drum. Poor Devs.

Actually, I just tested this bug myself and you’re right.

The same thing happened to my Wild Card rouge, guess I'm just out of luck.
Well, the Moderators have now seen this thread, so hopefully we will all get some resolution on this bug soon.

It would be nice if there was an automated system that sends you a PDF export of your character before they remove content.
Is there a way to suggest features like this to the dndbeyond team?

It took me two days to find it, but....
Here is a link to the thread where GPyromania helped get this exact same issue with the archived UA content:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/70448-onomancer-level-6-options-not-showing-up
So I know for a fact that they can fix it for us.

Glad to hear it!
will there be a way to make wild card rogues in the builder with this fix?
No, sorry. The promotional period has finished and it's no longer possible to create characters using content from it.
