Currently I am only allowed to select ONE oath and that is of Devotion for my lvl 6 paladin that I am making. I wish to be able to select Vengence and get access to the smite spells, but when I edit class it only allows me to select the Devotions Oath?...
Is this a bug or does anyone know a way to get around this ?
tldr: On the 15th you can unlock Paladin and do it all ezpz

During the beta test of D&D Beyond, we'll only be including content that is freely available from Wizards of the Coast, including the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion and potentially others. The beta will not include additional content from a Commercially Released Book, Module or Supplement.
All of the remaining published content from the PHB, DMG, MM and other D&D 5th edition books will be added to D&D Beyond for product release - the cost for accessing this material has just been announced.

Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
So you are telling me that the Ancients and Vengence Oaths are not part of free content? And to just access that tree I'll have to buy a PHB when everything comes out?
Lame.
I know you gotta make money, but why isnt the Vengence and Ancient Oaths part of the core paladin class? What other differences are there besides that between whats "FREE" and whats in the PHB?

Free content class-wise is the core class and a single subclass - typically the most generic of those available in the PHB. WotC can't exactly go and make the entirety of the PHB content free, since it would render the PHB pointless.

Lame?
Do you believe that is fair criticism?
I understand that you wanted to do a thing and have now been told that you can't. That always sucks, because one of the things about us D&D fans is we love the game and get really enthusiastic for it.
Imagine McDonald's offered you a free cheeseburger though - would you walk in and tell them they were lame for not making it a quarterpounder, because that's what you actually wanted?
You can also literally create the Oath of Vengeance (or any Oath) as a homebrew and use it. So for your own purposes if you wanted to do the work to create it you can, for free.

Now, yes. That wasn't an option in August 2017 when the OP posted.
