Is there any way to see what the Theros book has in it? I’m not looking for the actual rules of what’s in it or te details, I mean like how when you click on a book in D&D Beyond’s marketplace that you don’t own it’ll show you the races in the book, and then the subclasses, and backgrounds and the like. Again not looking for anything leaked, just a list of what I’m getting once te book comes out if I preorder it. I tried searching and found nothing, and I’ve looked around with google and just keep finding over and over again the leonin and the satyr as well as the two subclasses that are in the description on dndbeyonds’s marketplace page for the product.
Thanks, that first one I’d looked at forever ago and has phrases like “such as” and the word “including” which implies that there’s more to it (in spite of there literally being just the two subclasses that the page shows). So because of that wording I’ve been looking around. I actually was just told to check YouTube on another source and found one of the speculation videos that at least showed that a tweet happened from on high stating that there would only be two subclasses in the book, and two are named on that first link you shared, so at least that mystery is solved.
I was sorta hoping for something more like a table of contents or something like that, but YouTube did at least answer my bigger questions about races and classes. I suppose I can wait until it is released here and look at the marketplace to decide. I’d have liked to know before the chance to preorder was gone though.
Yeah I've been kind of disappointed with the hype train for this book. I can't wait for it to come out but ddb and wizards have both barely promoted it lately.

I'm assuming this is partly due to the pandemic, but it is sad.
(If I had known it was going to be delayed, I would've bought a digital copy instead of preorder a physical version on amazon)

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
I never buy anything physical copy anymore. Not since 3.5, admittedly I did skip 4e.
I am the opposite, I always get the hard copy of books that I want. The only things I get here are Magic Items and Monsters to make it easier to prep for games or print Loot Cards.

edit: and Spells for spell cards.
I have bought literally no content on D&D Beyond. I wish I had bought Theros here, but I guess I'm fine waiting 6ish weeks to get my book. I still might buy it digitally just to have access to it sooner, but I'm not sure if I will do that.

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
There is a bit of content in this book that we know will be getting:
Races: At least Satyrs and Leonins as the new races. I'm not fully aware if there will be any reprints, but if there are, I'd expect Minotaurs, Centaurs, and Tritons. (I heard something about Tritons being merfolk in this book, but I'm not completely certain if that will happen.)
Satyrs will get a +2 Charisma, +1 Dexterity, be considered fey (like centaurs), and probably have some charming ability. Leonins will have a +2 Strength, +1 Charisma, advantage on saving throws against being frightened iirc, and claws.
There will be 2 subclasses in the book, as far as we know: The Paladin Oath of Glory (formerly known as Oath of Heroism) and the Bard College of Eloquence. If you want to see the previous versions of these, here's the link. They're both flavored around legends and greek-culture and lore, and I like both of them in their early stages, they just needed a bit of work.
There'll also be a map of Theros, but we don't have any samples of it yet, as such an official map didn't exist before this book.
Then, there's going to be a gazetteer of some kind, most likely. Every setting book in 5e so far has had some kind of gazetteer.
There will be a list of the gods, goddesses, lore, and tying your characters and adventures to these information scattered throughout the book, most likely. We know there'll be a lot of tables with omens that don't give mechanical benefits, but they increase your backstory potential.
Next, magic items. We know we'll be getting quite a few of them, here's a list of some of them that have been named here:
Flying Chariot. Sling Bullets of Althemone. Two-Birds Sling. Helm of the Gods. Molten Bronzeskin. Potion of Aqueous Form. Pyxis of Pandemonium. Siren Song Lyre.
Then there's at least 5 weapons of the gods, considered to be artifacts:
Akmon, Hammer of Purphoros.
Dekella, Bident of Thassa
Ephixis, Bow of Nylea
Khrusor, Spear of Heliod
Mastix, Whip of Eberos
There will also be a bestiary, similar to Ravnica's most likely, containing some "normal" monsters from Magic: the Gathering's Theros sets and some mythology based creatures. We will also get a new category of "mythic" monsters, with legendary+ powers. I'm going to list the named monsters down below:
Abhorrent Overlord. Akroan Hoplite. Amphisbaena (we already have this in 5e, but this might be different, but probably not). Anvilwrought Raptor (and a familiar variant). Aphemia. Arasta. Archon of Falling Stars. Ashen Rider. Satyr Reveler. Satyr Thornbe. . . (can't read the text). Blood-Toll Harpy. Bronze Sable. Burnished Hart. Colossus of Akros. Doomwake Giant. Eater of Hope. Fleecemane Lion (sheep lion?). Flitterstep Eidolon. Setessan Hoplite. Siren (we already have this too). Ghostblade Eidolon. Gold-Forged Sentinel. Hippocamp (horse-fish, thingy, in case you didn't know). Hundred-Handed One (I am looking forward to this one. They're awesome in greek mythology, I hope the stat block represents it well. P.S. There's a monster named this in previous editions more powerful than gods, but this one is different, more akin to the greek mythology ones). Hythonia. Ironscale Hydra (we'll be getting hydra variants in this book!). Lampad. Leonin Iconolast. Meletian Hoplite. Naiad (iirc, there's also one of these in TftYP). Theran Chimera. Nightmare Shepherd. Nyx-Fleece Ram. Nyxborn Lynx. Oracle. Oread. Phylaskia. Polukranos. Returned Drifter. Returned Kakomantus. Returned Palamnite. Returned Sentry ("Returned" are undead creatures).
This is basically all the information we know on the content inside the book so far. We don't have any names for the mythic creatures, but I'm sure they'll be cool.
I hope this helps!

Well it does and it doesn’t. It’s made the choice harder. I had decided to just wait and piecemeal parts until I break down and buy everything remaining at a lower price. But you’ve done a rather fine ad for the product here. I greatly appreciate the information. Thanks much.

I don't normally buy any book that I have not flipped through yet. Very rarely preorder them.
