Hi, thanks for all the work on the new page update. Quick question, I didn't see it but is there a spot for animal companions on the new updated sheet? Or is that still on the list of things that need to be added?
yeah, not a fan at all, neither is the rest of my group. not everyone uses a tablet and therefore arent that concerned with everything being available on a single screen with no scrolling. if I wanted it to look like a paper character sheet with no graphic or pizzazz....I'd just use the paper one.
wheres the flair? the spell icon graphics? the colorful theme?
will there be any options to customize the theme in the future, if nothing else change theme color perhaps?
You should already be able to change the theme color and your background by clicking on your character portrait.
If you're on a tablet but it's forcing the desktop view and you can't really see it, is it possible to force the mobile view? The mobile version seems incredibly easy to navigate to me, much better than the old version.

I like it for the most part, having the page number references is terrific, and the export sheet is more useful without having to manually edit it every time now.
About the exported sheet, I'd really love the ability to add free text to any section I want in the web-view, and have that text show up printed in the export view of that field. I can add "custom actions" for example to add more stuff to that exported box, but most other boxes like "Senses" only let me choose specific preset senses to add. It would be great to be able to fill in text wherever I want, like I can do on a paper sheet, and have that reflected every time I export the sheet.
For that matter, why can I create a custom attack and have it show up as an attack on the web-view, but then it never gets exported to the "Weapon Attacks & Cantrips" section of the exported sheet?
First - congratulations on the launch of the new Character sheet! The look adds a great deal to the feel of the game.
One question and one simple request
(1) is there a way to have a panel on the left AND the right? Even when I lock this it just changes the content, doesn't add a new window
(2) please make the windows scalable (just vertically would work). It would be nice to lengthen the lists without having to use the scroll bar, especially if the window right above/below is rarely used.
Oh, and really small thing, but there are a few calculations showing decimal values rather than rounding up (for example arcane recovery indicates my character will recover slots up to a combined level of 4.5).
Asking once more, anyone found a way to edit a damage die on a weapon? need to turn a pistol from a 1d10 to a 1d6, among other things.
Please and thank you. :>
You'll need to create a custom item to do this. In the Combat block click on Manage Custom, In the dropdown in the sidebar select Weapon. Click the new Custom Action text then click the Edit down arrow. You can fill out all of the details here and save it as a weapon.
Love the new update. One problem I'm having though is on my yuan-ti character, for my racial abilities it does not add my charisma bonus to the spell saving throws for suggestion and poison spray. I then tried to make another yuan-ti character with different stats to test it and it did the same thing. Also my drow wizard is using his wizard spell save for faerie fire instead of what it should be if it used his charisma as it should be for drow.
The edit command does something funny. For example if you have material in say the notes page and then want to edit the notes - it deletes all the material that was there and gives you a completely clean sheet in which to type. That is not my understanding of editing!

Looks beautiful. Amazing job. I know in the development process you all are probably focusing on bugs instead of new features right now, but...
1. Having two sidebars up at once and making it so it stays to the sidebar you want.
2. I think it is weird how you have to add items now. Unless I'm incorrect you have to type the item name into your inventory (or any letters that don't match what is in your inventory) then click the "add item" button that pops up, then search for the item in the sidebar that comes up. My recommendation is either let you add the item from the window (not the sidebar) or add a "add item" next to "other possessions" that brings up that sidebar without having to type gibberish into your inventory to bring it up.
I for one love the change. Unfortunately, I can not export the sheet. It just brings up the old one. I checked several characters, all the same, the old sheet.
<Edit> I see that perhaps the pdf version remains the same after reading the character sheet article. I guess this should make some people happy but I like the new ones better as far as where some of the information is. But good job with your hard work in keeping this site working well.
Wondering the same thing but for wild shape.
When I tried to export an character to PDF, I also got an 500 Internal error, but is just one of my characters (warlock). The others are ok.

Has anyone found the status effects like Poisoned and Exhausted? I can't find them anywhere :(
Under the Combat page, where AC and Initiative are listed
Thanks!! Didn't even look there since it used to be listed under Health derp
edit: AWWWWW Exhuation is still just a yes/no T_T It has multiple levels dangit.
Just swipe it away to the right. Working fine on both my Samsung tablets and phone.
I believe that's coming later
It would be nice if we could still collapse each item in the features and traits section by clicking on the name of the feature.

It won't swipe away on my Samsung Tab s3 or my s7 edge phone.
