🦖Toots Roars a challenge at Tommary, but noticing his demeanor and calming motions decides she has made her point and chooses to not attack. This time…. 😉
"Who's a good thunderlizardess?" Tommary considers feeding Toots his snowflake, but thinks better of it, his luck can only land him on his feet so many times a day.
Tommarywas totally doing a slow flap crane walk in his effort to placate the T-Rex.

"...Traveler's cloak shelter me from knuckleheads..." Ilyara muttered, relaxing enough to do as Tootsasaurus had suggested three-odd times now and climb up onto the dinosaur's back, perching next to Elyona. "You holding up?" she asked the paladin. "Need a sit-down for a while, maybe treat some of those burns...?"
Elyona had watched the conflict between Tommary and Tyrano-Toots in a daze, still weak from her wounds. Just when her brain finally suggested she should try and intervene, things calmed down, and she breathed a sigh of relief. In response to Ilyara's question, she responded "I will need a rest, yes. Arvoreen grants me some ability to heal both myself and others; Once Toots gets us to a safer place, I shall avail myself of that."
OOC: She only has a 25-foot running long jump. Unless anyone can improve that or extend the bridge, it looks like the end of the road. Otherwise Toots’ll have to Polymorph again into a flyer just to cross the gap and then drop that one too. But between this Polymorph into 🦖Toots, and the other spell, that’s ⅔ of her 4th-level slots spent in just this room. Polymorphing again will be a hat trick.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Ok, this is flowing lava, a liquid, so maybe Tommary the Unworthy can walk across it, though I don't believe Stormwalker makes him resistant to the heat, so he'd likely burn out literally before he made it across ... or he could dash. Or we could see if strategic Shatter applied to the ceiling brings down enough rock for us to at least leap frog it. Tommary the Unworthy Stormwalker Wielderis going to assess his capacity to hot foot this or bring a minor part of this mountain down for utilitarian purposes as opposed to his finishing move. Survival13.

OOC: HOLD UP! 🦖Toots’ walking speed is 50 ft., and her running long jump is 25 feet.
If she takes the Dash action her move is 100 for the turn. With the bare minimum running start of 10 feet, jump 25 feet, land and run another 10 ft (which is a single step for a T-Rex), and jump another 25 ft for a total distance of 60 feet; which is 50% more than the chasm width, and still 40% less than her total move.
Lava is molten rock, so I doubt it’s a “quick sink,” if anyone can do anything to either:
Let 🦖Toots walk on a liquid.
Or:
Give 🦖Toots a 10-foot runway 25 ft out.
We can literally be across this lava chasm in nothing but “a hop, skip, and a jump.”
OOC As endearing as a set up for Toots T-Rex to go out like the T800 in T2 I cannot claim that Tommary the Unworthy Wielder of Stormwalkercan share the legendary blade's walk on all liquid's ability - unless of course there's a minor negative artifact property that compels Tommary the Unworthy Wielder of Stormwalker to be even more of a compulsive liar than he habitually is. I think our best bet may still be trying to make a bridge out of the ceiling and those of us not willing to spry it themselves with Tommary the Unworthy Wielder of Stormwalkercan Frogger it with the Toots-Rex. Still not sure what color Stormwalker should be rendered in.

It's a 15 foot drop to the lava, the lava does something like 18d10 damage, then you have to climb up the other side without falling back into the lava.
Due to t-rex physicality, I'd give it disadvantage on climbing.
The door is a fake or looks fake as it isn't the same thickness as the other doors in the place. The doorway is also framing nothing but stone wall.

OOC: Who said “climb?!?” I said “jump.”
Jumping
Your Strength determines how far you can jump.
Long Jump. When you make a long jump, you cover a number of feet up to your Strength score if you move at least 10 feet on foot immediately before the jump. When you make a standing long jump, you can leap only half that distance. Either way, each foot you clear on the jump costs a foot of movement.
This rule assumes that the height of your jump doesn't matter, such as a jump across a stream or chasm. At your DM's option, you must succeed on a DC 10 Strength (Athletics) check to clear a low obstacle (no taller than a quarter of the jump's distance), such as a hedge or low wall. Otherwise, you hit it.
When you land in difficult terrain, you must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check to land on your feet. Otherwise, you land prone.
High Jump. When you make a high jump, you leap into the air a number of feet equal to 3 + your Strength modifier (minimum of 0 feet) if you move at least 10 feet on foot immediately before the jump. When you make a standing high jump, you can jump only half that distance. Either way, each foot you clear on the jump costs a foot of movement. In some circumstances, your DM might allow you to make a Strength (Athletics) check to jump higher than you normally can.
You can extend your arms half your height above yourself during the jump. Thus, you can reach above you a distance equal to the height of the jump plus 1 1/2 times your height.
🦖Toots has 25 Str, she can long-jump 25 feet with a 10-foot running start, and high-jump 10 feet with a 10-foot running start. If there was a 10-foot runway of “not-lava” out in the lava flow she could long-jump out 25 feet, take 1d6 falling damage 🙄, take another 10-foot tuning start and jump another 10 ft up and 25 ft across and be just about to the other platform.
Even without a runway of “not-lava,” it should could walk on a liquid then sure she would take a bunch of fire damage, but 🦖Toots. has almost 140hp. You would have to spike the dice to drop her in one go.
The door is a fake or looks fake as it isn't the same thickness as the other doors in the place. The doorway is also framing nothing but stone wall.
Now, that’s a different story. My sense of geography is notoriously 💩, but luckily there’s been a map I can read. By my calculations, if that door’s a fugazzi then the only ways left to go are back up that broken ladder where we ate lunch al fresco and where Santa escaped, up the blocked “chimney” where all that Adamantine was, or back to Cliffside.
OOC: I'm almost certain that nobody during this entire adventure has asked specifically about secret doors. But there was a lot of general wall and room looking which would have revealed them.

Toots tramps happily across the bridge, towards where the icy sphere was. Her steps shake the ground and make the bridge quake.
She gets to the other side and the party discovers the end of the bridge has collapsed into the lava!
Across a span of 40 feet of lava can be seen a door lying on the ground apparently fallen from its frame. Beyond it is a blank wall.
