Currently trying to implement a subclass from a kickstarter I backed a while ago. The text of the feature is as follows.
Choose three of the following options (each option can only be selected once): ll You gain proficiency with a Gaming Set of your choice ll You gain proficiency with a martial weapon of your choice ll You gain proficiency with Herbalism Kits ll You gain proficiency with Thieves' Tools ll You gain proficiency with a skill of your choice ll You learn two languages of your choice
I've had a look around and the only threads I could find discussing a similar topic are a few years old now so hoping there's been an update.
AFAIK the only way to implement this would be to create 3 "features" that each have the full list of options and then just make sure you don't select the same thing twice. Is there a more elegant solution?

turn on options using the options tick box on the feature.next set choices to 3,3,3 (replace 3 with the level the feature is granted) then create options using the add option button.
create your subclass feature page with setting like the image below:
Has Options : checked
Class Levels Where Options Known: add the level where you get to pick an option
Then add all the options.
In the image below, entering 3,3,3 means that when the character reaches 3rd level, they get to choose an option, they can then choose another option and yet another option. You can add as many options as you like and they character will still only get to choose the number you enter in that box.
How do you make an option for specific skill sets? I.e., If at level 3 you gain a skill in each Wisdom and Charisma, how would I make that option work?
I have been trying for days to get this to work using slightly different options and features. I have even tried making a feature specifically with the Wisdom skill set in the feature options as Proficiency and all that did was give me full proficiency in the Wisdom set.

Oh! Ok, thanks. So just make two options with the "Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma Skills" option to make it a little easier on myself and be careful what I'm choosing. That works for me!
hey its been a while since this thread but I am struggling with a homebrew, I have added the options and inputted the required level as well as the 1,1,1,1,1 in levels where options known box but I only get prompted to select one option. what do I do?
Has the set up for adding options changed since this post was made? I can't find the "has options" box anywhere and have been struggling for a couple hours now trying to figure out how to get the options to show during character creation. I've made sure none of the options have the "is granted" box checked, I tried adding a "1" to the "CHARACTER LEVELS WHERE OPTIONS KNOWN" box to see if that would prompt it, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!
No, nothing’s changed. Is this for a race, or a subclass? If it’s for a race then there is no “has options” box, and if you put a “1” in the “character levels where options known” box then the Options won’t show up unless you have selected a class for your character. If you leave that field blank the system will default to a single Option known at character creation.
Thank you for responding! It was for a race, I removed the "1" and now the option is working (yay!) but I have another racial option where I want the player to be able to choose two of the options instead of just one, is there any way for me to do that so it will show up before the player chooses their class? Thanks again for the help

Hey there,
create your subclass feature page with setting like the image below:

I hope that helps!

Ahhhhh. Now that I see the 3,3,3 thing I'm sure I''ve actually used this before somewhere and just forgotten it's a thing you can do.
Thank you both very much for the help
This is super helpful! Thanks!
I do have a secondary question in this line:

this is not currently possible

You would have to divide it into 2 traits. Your other choice is to put “1,1” in that field and the player will have to choose their class first.
