i have recently made a homebrew improved air genasi, i have added the spells but for some reason i don't have a spell list on my monk character for the spells to appear in
After you add anything to, change anything on, or remove anything from any homebrew you MUST re-save the entire thing using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information or the system won’t pick up your changes automatically. After that it can sometimes take up to 20 minutes for those changes to push through to your character builder/sheet.
if it would explain im willing to give you my discord and we can talk over a call about it. i can screen share my page and you can tell me if i have anything wrong

You see where you entered “Spell Level,” “Attack Type,” and “Save DC” there? Delete all of that and set yours up almost EXACTLY like Mairondil showed you with absolutely nothing else filled out at all:
For what you’re doing, the only fields that should have information are labeled:
“Spell” (the spell’s name)
“Ability Score” (whichever you prefer)
“Consumes Spell Slot” (for Cantrips this should say “no”)
”Counts as Known Spell” (“no” so it doesn’t take up a space from another cantrip they might learn from a class).
(“Always Prepared” can actually be left blank because Cantrips are never “prepared,” but it also shouldn’t hurt anything.)
The spells aren’t showing up anywhere on your character sheet because of all that conflicting extraneous stuff. (Gust is not an “Attack” spell at all, and Attack spells never have a “Save DC.”)
Since Air Dome is not an official spell the [spell] tooltip won’t work and It will just display as “[Tooltip Not Found].” Besides, tooltips don’t work on character sheets anyway.
I am still having issues with this, I created a Race, with Subraces, and those subraces give access to spells as a racial trait, not class, but the add spell section looks different now and I can't seem to get this to work.
The form for races is a little bit different from the form for subclasses, but all the same fields work in all the same ways. What exactly are you trying to accomplish, and what’s giving you difficulty?
So I want to have a drop-down list of spells they get to select only one of. I go to add racial trait, then Spells, once there if I add each spell by itself they all show up as their own drop-down list with only one spell, if I tried to add them all in a group, only the first spell shows. It states "Select either a specific spell or spells, a level of spells, or access to a spell class. So I select multiple spells to make a list but doesn't work, only first spell shows up in the character build sheet.
So I kind of have a similar problem and if I follow this thread I will probably figure it out, but I have a different question regarding this. because if I look at fairy or tiefling who get innate spells it is just written in there description and snippet and that's it not the whole add spells through the feature below it and I was just wondering why and why can't every race do this? also if I want to copy it to a new race and place it there but change the spells it will still show the original spells from the race I took it form.

i put the spells in as an ability with the [Tooltip Not Found] code and they still won't show up
Tooltips will add formatted links to your description page. You want to add spells to SPELLS section of a Racial Trait.

yea i have done that. but there is no spell section on the character sheet, would playing monk stop that from happening?

It actually looks like it worked, just takes a little bit for my saved changes to take effort from what I could tell.
Yes, there is a delay of up to 20 minutes between saving the changes and those changes populating on he character sheet.
