No, you don’t need to go through all that work to create those Options. That Modifier is the correct one. If it isn’t working I suspect you’ll find your answer in the General Homebrew FAQ #6 in the very first post in this thread.
I had to temporarily make him give up his oath and swap to being an artificer, but when I changed him back to pally, that fixed it. Thanks!
So, I’m trying to incrementally increase a fly speed in a subclass.
At the base level, I’ve been able to set > innate speed (flying) to give a base flight speed of the character’s walking speed, and I thought that adding bonus > speed(flying) > fixed value: 10 should increment the flight speed, but it has not worked.
I can increment speed ( bonus > speed > fixed value:10 ) and it works just fine, but not a singular speed type.
Any suggestions? Am I doing something incorrectly?
No, you’re not doing anything wrong. It used to be a different Modifier but they changed it to the Bonus Modifier. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen someone say it isn’t working properly.

Ok, so it’s just not doing like it’s supposed to? Cool. At least that can be fixed.
I have once again returned requesting assistance. I am making a Homebrew Item. Currently set as Basic Item Type: Item, with the Magic Item Type: Wondrous Item. I am attempting to make it boost spells, specifically ones dealing Cold Damage. Is there a way to achieve this?
Is there a way to suppress conditions like Frightened and grant advantage to Grappled effects on a homebrew item? This is the description for part of the item: “You cannot become Frightened, and you gain Advantage on checks made to be Grappled, or to Grapple another creature.”

I fear the answer is no, but is there the possibility to give someone expertise, of they already have the proficiency in subclasses? F.e. You get the Arcana Skill - if you already have you double your proficiency bonus?
Unfortunately there’s no way to do it automatically, but there is a way if you trust your player. You can set up two Options, one that grants proficiency and another that grants expertise. You will have to trust the player to select the correct option. However, if you use the Expertise Modifier it should only actually work if they already have the proficiency (as opposed to the Twice Proficiency Modifier which would grant proficiency), so it should be okay. Should.
Expertise doubles your proficiency bonus in a skill that you already have proficiency in so granting proficiency THEN expertise should work?
The Bard class says:
At 3rd level, choose two of your skill proficiencies. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of the chosen proficiencies.
At 10th level, choose two more of your skill proficiencies. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of the chosen proficiencies.

Correct, if they already have proficiency then Expertise should stack on top of that. However, if you want you can instead use the “Twice Proficiency” Modifier and that will both grant proficiency and double it.
7. Is there a way to create a feat (or magic item) that grants additional spell slots?
No, there’s no way to give additional spell slots. You could add a limited use to a feat, or add a charge to a magic item that would effectively work like a spell slot, but it wouldn’t appear on the Spells section of the character sheet.
I'm sure Sposta will update this when he gets some time, (and probably once he has tested it out himself on multiple classes to verify all the ins and outs so that he can give better information on the workaround than I am giving here, things like if/how it works on non-caster classes, if it works different on full-casters vs half-casters and so on) but until then just thought I'd share a method I found. It has worked on my Custom Paladin Subclass, and at this point I'm assuming it works only on classes that already have casting available to them, as I haven't yet tested in on a class without, but:
If you add a feature a just name the Feature "Pact Magic" (without quotes, of course) the site will think it's supposed to be the Blood Hunter's Pact Magic feature. The weird thing is, instead of adding them a la Blood Hunter, they instead add new slots names Pact Magic... but those slots are added according to the way your magic already works! Essentially, you just get double the slots for free. It comes with the downside of all your prepared spells being listed twice, once for each "spellbook" but... you get twice the slots and can cast any spell in either slot. No way I have found to control the number of slots, it's just automatically a second set of what you already should have.
Do be careful as I've noticed it doesn't always auto-check the box when used. Even for the same spell. Sometimes it takes two or three clicks of the "cast" button for the appropriate box to get auto-filled. Still, you can always just manually fill the box, and it will help you keep track of how many spell slots you should have.
Or the Warlock’s Pact Magic. Then again, a good description should work.

You mean like how Tabaxi have claws? You don’t edit the unarmed strike, you add a new Action to that racial trait for that attack type.

That essentially did the same thing as I wrote about in that FAQ answer, it forced the server cache to update.

thank you. :)
Is it posible to add the ability to an item to grant 2 ranged attacks per action?
It’ll be:
Modifier: Set->Additional Attacks: 1->Details: “Ranged Attacks”

Expertise does double proficiency. I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to say. Can you perhaps explain a bit more?
