I've made a couple of homebrew creations and since they were posted very few people have seen them and non have commented on them or rated them; I'd like to know what I could do to have people see them and rate them, primarely I'd like feedback on them, I wanna improve them and see what issues they might have and such
any sites or app I could post them on? what's the typical thing people to do have them more seen? etc
these are the homebrews for anyone that sees this:
You got a snippet code in a few of your descriptions. When looking at the description page for these, we should not see stuff like {{classlevel*2+proficiency+modifier:con@min:0+modifier:cha@min:0#unsigned}} on the description page. These sorts of codes only work in snippet fields which are the fields that display only on the character sheet. You might want to review the Using Snippet Codes in your homebrew thread.
I see you've used a few tooltips in your Cone of Pain spell, but none in the Primal Blood subclass. Tooltips aren't all that necessary, since they are only on the description page and not in the character sheet, but I think they improve the overall quality of a homebrew creation.
Cone of Pain could use an unordered list element:

...

...

For the 6 different effects on the CON save and the 2 choices for At Higher Levels.
As for seeing them more. Publishing is probably the best way to do it, that way anyone can access it. Aside from that you're looking at something like Theory in Advertising which I'm sure is a course of study at a school somewhere. Spam the world or wait for word of mouth to blow up your socials. I posted my artificer subclass on /r/UnearthedArcana and got a a little momentum.
and yea for the primal blood I did it a bit after the cone of pain one and forgot that the snippets didnt work on the description, will change that when I make a new version; and I didnt see anywhere to add tooltips to the primal blood, I would've on the additional spells but I didnt really have any specific spells to link to, I suppose I could link to the druid when mentioning it tho
I'll see bout editing them for their next versions and bout publishing them somewhere once I am more sure of their quality and balance
There’s really no point to tooltipping damage types, since there are no specific rules attached to any of the damage types this edition. So while yes, they are tooltipable, it’s kinda pointless to do so.
fair nuff, probs still will tooltip em for the sake of it
I do wish they had their own mechanics aside from the one off interaction with a very specific monster some have, there is a lot of creative space that can be explored there
I literally looked everything over and was like "doesn't seem like I can add anything more" and then after posting it I realized I didn't add the tooltip to the mention of the unicorn in the origins table I added lmao
(edited to add that with a couple of quality of life changes)
People with a hero or master tier subscription should be able to see your description without you publishing, I'd suggest having someone with a subscription look it over before publishing to keep from bad editions out there in the wild. To be fair though, we've all done it and published something then immediately noticed something wrong or that could be improved. I've done it myself. My artificer subclass should not have like 7 revisions when 4 of these were simple mistakes I should have caught beforehand.
That being said after a cursory glance at your revisions, and this is just because I'm obsessed with things being perfect, is the extra white space and indented line just before the 5th paragraph of the main description.
I'll be able to give it a more in depth look once I'm home from work.
and the extra white space was to give it more separation since the description had sorta ended and then it was the lil intro to the table of example origins, unfortunately tho two enters seems like a lot, maybe I should make it one enter and one shift+enter
Nah, having a subscription doesn’t allow anyone to see unpublished homebrews. If, however, Xero000 is in the same DDB campaign with someone else then they could send that person the link and that person would then be able to see their unpublished homebrews.
In DDB’s system, shift+enter is not only unnecessary, it often leads to wonky formatting. If you just hit enter it will automatically leave a double space between paragraphs.

I wasn't sure if that was the case. I know subs can add un-published homebrew to their collection, but I guess they still need the shared campaign to access it.
Considering this, Xero000, throw me a campaign invite. I can throw a random pc in there and see your unpublished stuff.
Main description, paragraph 2 just needs to be the last half of paragraph 1. My substitute writing teacher buddy would kick me if I didn't point that out.
I'm not sure about this, what do you mean here?
In addition, choose a Druid Circle that has an additional spell list. You learn those additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Primal Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know. If the druid subclass' additional spells table has more spells of a certain level than those on the Primal Spells table you get to pick which ones you get, and if it has less then you must choose a druid spell of that same level instead.
In the Primal Spells table, change each line to choose two druid xxxxx level spells where xxxxx is which level: first, second, third, etc.
Are you adding the spells with options or just add spells?
I think if you use options, determined by level... to add the appropriate spell at that level. Hmm. BRB
If you just add them as spells, it will present the choices for all of them in the builder right away, but you still won’t get the spells until the designated levels.
I was thinking that maybe an Is Granted option with spell choices might make spell selection a little more defined by class level. I'll look into this further when I've had less whiskey, but my first tests proved fruitless.
I'm boutta go sleep so I'll see bout that campaign invite tomorow morning!
and what I mean by what you highlighted mairondil is that, since not all druid subclasses gain first level spells, and there is the possibility of future subclasses gaining more spells than the 10 I'm limiting this to (like the lunar sorcerer gets 15), if the first situation happens you get to pick any druid spell to fill the slot you aren't getting and if the second situation happens then you are forced to pick two of whatever number of spells you are getting
the reason why you can choose any spells is cause well, I cant know what spells future druid circles will have, nor can I add all the ones that are already there due to the limitations of publishing in dnd beyond; I can, however, make it let you pick any spell from any list and thus it's all settled, that also lets you pick the spells that I myself couldnt restrict it to if you own a product that has that spell
I could make it so the selection only appears when you reach that class level, but I feel like that's unessesary since you are ment to pick a druid subclass and stick to the spells of it, so it's really only a level 1 choice; you still only get the spells at the respective levels and not before; and it is attatched to a "is granted" feature
also, I should change the "druid subclass" to "druid circle" I forgot whoops haha

Check to tooltips for rules in comment #5. I see the following could be tooltipped as rules:
Personally I only tooltip the first instance of something as to not fill a description page with multiple instances of the same tooltip.

In order to be “is granted” they require a preexisting Option attached to a different feature.
