Without having to move, Bubbles plunges Last Rites into the swarm just ahead of him, which is the one feeding on Undertow. Although it is hard to pierce through a swarm of tiny creatures effectively, the hatchlings seem strangely attracted to the weapon's divine sheen, which makes the barbarian's job a bit easier. In two powerful attacks, Bubbles manages the thin out this one swarm significantly. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #1 takes 27 magical piercing and radiant damage.)
Gulp also retaliates with a weapon in hand against the swarm surrounding his position. He also throws a couple of kicks in there for good measure. He manages four attacks before he decides to move away to relative safety {AE-46}. One of those blows fails to hit even a sole hatching, but the other three drop a few of them. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #4 takes 12 magical piercing and bludgeoning damage.)
Shanty thanks Barnacle for the temporary protection and, in a move fueled by some swear words, launches a couple of Eldritch Blasts at the swarm moving about him and his fighter companion. In spite of the proximity, both blasts are quite accurate, though not many hatchlings actually fall in the end. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #3 takes 7 force damage.)
The sight of his personal nemesis (Sahuagings in general), even if in baby form, is enough to bolster Undertow into combat. Taking advantage of the initial thinning of the herd provided by Bubbles, Undertow fells some more of the remaining hatchlings in this particular swarm with the help of Shoreseeker. The ranger even calls Riptide to lend a tentacle in this effort {AK-46}. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #1 takes 14 magical piercing and bludgeoning damage.)
A bit disappointed on the group for triggering this potentially avoidable confrontation, Sandlot advances a bit so he can properly target his chosen companions with another one of Eldath's Blessings. After the deed is done, the cleric backtracks and finds a spot just around the bend.
Barnacle makes immediate use of this boon and pierces a fair amount of hatchlings with two thrusts of his yet-to-be-named trident. As it was the case for his companions, piercing these tiny creatures proves a harder task than the fighter would have liked. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #3 takes 14 magical piercing damage.)

The swarms of baby sahuagins continue to ravenously bite the locathah. The swarm engaged with Shanty and Barnacle stays put, focusing their attacks on the fighter. A second swarm advances to feed on Bubbles. The swarm feeding on Undertow repeats its attack, but not before also engulfing Riptide. The last swarm catches up to Gulp. The swarm attacking Undertow has been thinned enough such that there are not many hatchlings left in it to bite the ranger.
(OOC: For some reason I am not able to undo the strikethrough on the damage roll against Barnacle without triggering a "manipulation warning". So, I'll leave that formatting there, but the crit obviously hits.)
Worried with maintaining his protection over Shanty, Barnacle turns and exposes some softened flesh from an earlier bludgeon wound. The ravenous hatchings take full advantage of that. A few feet away, Gulp is not able to react as quickly as he did a moment ago, and the sahuagins dig into one of the monk's own cuts. (Barnacle takes 29 piercing damage; Gulp takes 13 piercing damage.)
Bubbles' scales prove to be too though for the hatchlings, while Undertow expertly uses his shield to avoid any damage.

Undertow's Turn:
Undertow is nothing short of relentless in his assault even as the numbers thin around him. No mercy would given this day. No quarter for the spawn of creatures whose savagery knew no bounds. Though he may later come to question his own ferocity, that was future Undertow's problem. For now, he could only focus on wider more arcing strikes to catch more of the thinning school of monsters with assistance from Riptide; who had to reach out of its own mass now swarming it just to snag a few from Undertow's (if need be), and crush them in its many tentacles!
Action: Attack same swarm that attacked Undertow last. Shoreseeker #1 - Attack: 27 Damage: 12 magical "slashing". Shoreseeker #2 - Attack: 18 Damage: 8 magical "slashing".
Bonus Action: Command Riptide to attack Undertow's Swarm(if any remain). Binding Strike - Attack: 22 Damage: 9 magical bludgeoning damage. (No Grappling, since its a swam)

Sandlot sighs and shakes his head. But rather than complain or admonished, the aged Locathah took a deep gulp of water to steady his nerves, swam back a ways, then pref steadied his nerves, before presenting the symbol of his faith, blessing at least a few of his fellows with helpful currents to help keep the tide in their favor.

Balling his one fist and holding his new dagger in the other, Gulp retaliates against the swarm that just attacked him. Once again, the monk's attempt to pierce and bludgeon the sahuagin hatchlings is not as effective as he was hoping. Some of the tiny creatures surely meet their end, but there are still plenty left over in this swarm. Gulp then puts some distance between himself and his assailants, making sure to swim in an erratic manner as not to give the babies a chance to attack his back. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #4 takes 9 magical piercing and bludgeoning damage.)
Shanty fires another pair of Eldritch Blasts at point blank range. There are so many of this spawn around the bard that it is hard for the blasts to not find their mark. This swarm is quite thinned out now. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #3 takes 11 force damage.)
(@Ori: Undertow ends his turn at {AJ-46} and Sandlot at {AL-47} after the Balm of Peace walk.)
Undertow is not about to give any sahuagin a rest, not even those this young. The beast master continues to attack with Shoreseeker, although he performs slashing motions this time in hopes of catching more hatchlings in each swoop. The trick has mixed results: while the sweeping motion does not seem any better that a thrusting one, most of the remaining hatchlings in this swarm still fall. Undertow notices one last hatchling still moving about him, but Riptide finishes the job by catching it in one of its tentacles and immediately eating it. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #1 takes 14 magical slashing and bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED.)
After sighing, Sandlot begins to stroll about the battlefield, healing his companions as he goes. The cleric pays special attention to Barnacle, sending him a Healing Word as well. (Barnacle recovers 21 HP; Bubbles recovers 11 HP; Riptide recovers 5 HP; and Undertow recovers 11 HP.)
Next to the party's warlock, Barnacle continues to attack the swarm in tandem. There are only a handful of hatchlings in the swarm pestering Shanty and Barnacle now. (Sahuagin Hatchling Swarm #3 takes 12 magical piercing damage.)
