The one, after being hit by Ollezall, Cerlinde and Brin, almost simultaneously is near dead and makes a hasty retreat. The last one, injured and alone also vanishes down a hole.
"Good work guys" Modesty tells you "now, we're losing the light. We need to find and disarm any traps in the area, locate stores of supplies and disrupt them and get to a safe place to make camp as soon as we can. Also keep an eye out for those Worgs. They may be by again just to see how injured we are."

Well I was wondering if you might have any clues for why they were here in this spot.... The kobolts obviously provoked them somehow.. how do they normally hunt?"
Meanwhile, Nilvén attempts to investigate her surrounding taking cautious steps one at a time.... holding onto her shortsword to instantaneously face any kind of sudden attack, poking at the detached foot of the Kobold that's been sticking out of a hole using the tip of the sword.

Don't take the time to disarm it, but make sure it's not connected to another trap. Let's do this quickly and get moving."

It's just a foot, but near the hole you find a leg-hold trap (bear trap, whatever name you know it by, big jaws you step in the middle of and it snaps shut on your leg) that the Kobold was in the process of burying when it was attacked. Just beyond that you find the cache of supplies, only half camouflaged.
Before long you've found both caches. Modesty has you go through it, arranging the weapons and food stuffs as she's shown you before. You find a pouch with 15gp, 10sp and 2 gems. In the other you find a pouch with 10gp as well as an odd, ornately cast iron rod about 2 feet long.
"Oh! Now I wish I were in for a cut of the spoils" she exclaims "these can be very useful and a lot of fun" she adds, holding the rod by one end, about eye level, parallel to the ground and presses a button on that end. She takes her hand away and the rod stays there in in the air. She grabs it again, presses the button again and it moves freely again. She tosses it to Zhou "Pass it around. Everybody should get a good look at it. These things can be the solution to about a thousand problems you never imagined"
Before long Modesty had the cashes safely turned to stone. "Alright, let's get out of here. We should make the ridge a little after sundown. Not ideal, but not bad"

Ollezall throws a heavy rock/boulder at the trigger plate/trap once everyone appears out of area of effect.
Ollezall notices Zhou found the cache, confirming his suspicions that the ankhegs probably felt the kobolds burying a trap and hiding supplies , and that's what triggered the attack. * Vibration hey...* Ollezall starts walking softer.
"Cerlinde, if your owl spots any more Ankheg during scouting, it's likely there will be a cache of supplies nearby.... I think this kobold got careless when digging and the Ankheg felt the vibration and attacked....kinda feel sorry for it strangely, what a nasty way to go"
“Ok, my owl knows what to look for now,” says Cerlinde “let’s hurry to get to where we can camp. I can carry the immovable rod for the group, i have read some of how these can be useful in my arcane studies- but if anyone needs it- just ask”. She smiles. The elf looks even more beautiful and fae in the evening’s fading light.

"Sarge! Can I keep the hunting trap since I find it quite useful?"- she will cry out while passing around the Iron Rod, then she will explain her plan saying, "I'm planning on setting up the trap near our camping site to restrain any intruder who shows the audacity to break in ."
