Based on the scenario, the imps appear to be unaware of their surroundings, toying with the wounds of the wolf. The wolf seems to have sensed something, but is too pained to act beyond the demonic entities torturing it. No real signs of ambush here, except the party against the imps.
(You may have a surprise round. The imps are 20 feet away and hovering a foot or so above the ground. Designate either Imp 1 or Imp 2 as your targets. Once we've had a surprise round I'll do an initiative tracker)
(The imps are adjacent to one another, so about 5 feet apart for targeting reasons)
Ragmin pops up and unleashes a scorching ray at the imps. He only manages to get one true hit on them, the other two rays going wide. However, it just glides off the back of the imp, which appears unharmed.
Liavyre looses an arrow at imp2, Attack: 12 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. + 3 Colossus Slayer
[feat]Elven Accuracy[/feat] - rerolling the nat 1 (assuming we have advantage here)... Attack: 15 ...and an extra d8 for a crit 1
21 piercing damage total to imp 2
As a bonus action, she says, "Go, my thorns."A small vine with thorns begins to grow on the next arrow that she notches in her bow string. Hail of Thorns
(From my interpretation of the attack, I believe I have to hit one of the imps again for thorns to spread?)
Fjorgin channels his sacred belief in Pelor into his weapon. (Channel Divinity: Sacred Weapon)
He then moves towards them, and casts shield of faith on himself.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Imp 1 is ravaged by an intense mental attack from Thea.
Imp 1's Intelligence Saving Throw:17
The imp cries out in pain and collapses to the ground, its brain fried by the psionic energy.
Imp 2 takes a shot from Liavyre as it pierces straight through its chest, knocking it out of the sky and slaying it in a single blow.
Fjorgin bathes his weapon in divine light as he rushes out towards the imps, his body cloaking in a shimmering field of energy, only to find that both imps have been slain within an instant.
"Now that was over faster than i expected." Depending on the wolfs behaviour, Thea would like to slowly walk over and inspect the imp's coprses for anything out of the ordinary.
The wolf whines as it tries to move, but it looks like it is in too much pain to do anything. (If anyone wishes to interact with the wolf, an advisory Animal Handling check should be taken into account)
Checking where the imps lie they are small red demonic entities, but there doesn't seem anything amiss about them beyond being such extraplanar creatures.
Ragmin looks around the surrounding area. The dark land around the group doesn't seem to have any other creatures within the immediate vicinity. Looks like the group was lucky for this one, catching a couple of lesser demons unaware.
Liavyre jumps back quickly to avoid being biten. "Poor crrature is in pain."
She digs into the ground a bit with her foot and one of her shortswords to make a shallow bowl shape into the earth, then puts some large, fresh leaves over it and fills it with water from her flask to form a waterbowl built into the ground. She then takes out a few pieces of dried meat from the extra rations. She places a couple on a leaf beside the waterbowl then tosses the last one just in front of the wolf to lead it to the food and water she laid out for it.
This is all done slightly away from the wolf so it doesn't bite her, but close enough so it can see (and smell) what she's doing. If it comes forward she gives it some space to eat and drink.

Liavyre begins to make a makeshift bowl for the wolf as Fjorgin approaches the wolf cautiously, telling the others to back away. After an awkward moment of steady approaching, the wolf flops its body limply on the floor, as if it has lost any further will to fight, or do anything else for that matter. Fjorgin carefully approaches the wolf as it quietly whines when he raises his hands to the small stab wounds along its body as they slowly begin to knit themselves back together, the radiant glowing of the Lay on Hands working its magic.
For Fjorgin and Liavyre:
Even though the wounded wolf has been healed of its battle wounds, it looks like it has been exhausted as well. It may have been without food and drink for a couple of days already.
OOC: Does the wolf do anything to the dried meat or water she set out?
Liavyre says, "It should be fine with the food and water. If it decides to follow us then I would welcome it."
She then begins to look for tracks from the imps to see what direction they came from and ponders any information she can recall from her ranger academic years.
(With favored terrain of Forest she would know their numbers, size, and how long ago they made the tracks.)
