Pushoverfocusses far more on blasting away as much of the greenery as she safely can than getting past obstacles, and doesn't worry too much about where she's going or what she's stepping over. [Acrobatics: 12]
(For those that failed the save, they take 3 necrotic damage.)
The party continues past the vines, following the tracks once more. The passage expands into a natural cavern whose ceiling is obscured by thick, dusty webs. Five web cocoons hang down from the larger mass, their bottoms dangling ten feet above the cavern floor. Two cocoons — one larger and one smaller — have a suspiciously humanoid shape.
Grigor helps K get through if she needs or wants. "I would offer myself as a humanoid shield going forward, but I think I can reach those two biggest bundles." He stands up straight and extends an inhumanly long arm in demonstration,"Aaaand, guessing giant webs means giant spiders. Not looking good for those guards if they made it this far." To Pushoverhe asks, "Any chance you can use some of that fire to clear out any of the webbing without setting fire to the cocoons before I try to cut them open?"
*As he studies the area getting ready to try to release what looks suspiciously like people and waiting to see if Pushover can help, Grigor coats his blades with a little oil, hoping it will help keep the webbing from sticking too badly.*
((Grigs is happy to focus on trying to cut people or bodies out, but I'm assuming there will be a spider fight first. :P ))
[What was the DC for the Acrobatics/Athletics check again? Not sure if I passed or failed]
Pushover isn't disturbed by the webs in the slightest, and instead walks about the room in quiet fascination, taking in as much as she can. [Accidentally rolled Investigation on the log, if you'll take it then it's a 14 + 6= 20 , but if only Perception works, then it's 14 + 3 = 17 (A decent roll either way!)] She then says to Grigor 'Of course I can, absolutely, though there may be a chance of them being alive in there, as if you're right about them being taken by a spider, it could be likely that it also injected some sort of venom into its prey to leave them paralysed and alive for later. Therefore, I'll have to be careful about where I fire my spells and maybe you and Sigurd can stand below them to catch the cocoons as they fall? That is only if you can't reach them up there of course, as in that scenario I think it'd be best to let me burn away the webbing that tethers them to the ceiling. Otherwise I'll burn away the rest of these webs as you wish!'

K gratefully accepts Grigor's help to get through the tunnel. [Does that mean K takes less damage, or...?]
At the cavern full of spider webs, K peers around to see if there is anything of note from the cocoons dangling from the ceiling or just the area in general. [Perception: 17 + 3 = 20]
Respondng to Pushover, "Er, right, no, I meant I can probably reach to cut them down, and, like, don't set them on fire if we can help it. Just in case." Scratching his hair chin in embarrassment at coming across as being willing to set fire to people sacks. He then looks to Sigurd, "For sure though, an extra set of hands would be nice, if you're down."
"Aye, agreed. The rest of you keep an eye out while Me, Grigor and push over get the cocoons down."Sigurd reaches around his waist to get the folded net from the back of his belt.
He unravels it, moves to underneath the first target and hands one end of the net to the Bug Bear. He looks at Pushover and says "Ready."
Flustered, Pushover responds to Grigs 'Oh, no, sorry that's my fault for misunderstanding and complicating the matter! I don't know why I even made my own suggestion, next time I'll follow what you say!' She awkwardly grips her spellbook like a koala would to a tree, but then releases it and flips through to find the page for fire bolt when Grigs and Sigurd have pulled the net across below the bodies so they're safe to fall. She rubs her thumb and forefinger together as she mutters something under her breathe, and suddenly a quill of fire appears between them, which she throws like a dart into the small string of web holding the first cocoon to the ceiling, singing it away and allowing it to fall. She then repeats the same thing with the next, though she gets the formula of the spell slightly wrong under pressure and compromises on the accuracy she had before in exchange for more potency. It's no big deal at all, as it still gets the job done, but she sighs anyway.
[First fire bolt: 14 + 6 = 20 to hit, 2 fire damage] [Second fire bolt: 7 + 6 = 13 to hit, 6 fire damage]
"Uhhh...no-" the goblinoid man is clearly trying to figure out how to respond to Pushover's comment, but doesn't seem able to come up with anything before he needs to focus on his job while keeping an eye out for large spiders angry about their lunch being stolen.
(DC was 10 for the blood weeds. And can't really avoid it by helping another, the fire cleared out most but there were still quite a few plants itself)

As the party moves forward, K notes dark red orbs on the ceiling. It begins to creep forward as the party moves closer to the cocoons.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(First firebolt will get down the first human shaped cocoon, not the second as something happens.)
The human sized cocoon falls into Sigurd's net, the flame spreading along the webbing to reveal a corpse of a kobold. A hiss comes from the ceiling as a large spider crawls closer to the party. It hisses once more and bares it fangs towards the party, despite still being upside down and on the ceiling.
