Blue grins suddenly, remembering something. Suddenly his skin begins to melt and transform, eventually turning into a large axe beak with bright blue plumage.
(Is this transformation an action or a bonus action? ;))
‘Also, he’ll use his memory die to try to remember what style of fighting he prefers when not an animal: 1

((Also, since I don't know if I'd made it clear enough, both Alpha and Red are looking really rough. They look as if they'd be likely to drop, were anyone to manage to hit them.))
Ember, shocked that Mark has fallen yells, "Mark! We need to get to the alpha!"
Last time she attacked, the creature almost seemed afraid of her. Maybe she can do that again? she thought to herself. "ARRGG!!" She would like to attack the red bird by sliding underneath and taking a slash on its belly ending up on the other side of the bird.
(I think she can do that because shes small, right?)
Attack: 4 Damage: 2 + (1 superiority die) 1
EDIT: Okay...so that attack won't hit....2 questions: 1. Do I still use up the Superiority die? Or do I still have a chance to frighten the bird? 2. Can I still move to the other side of the bird, into flanking position with Blue/Guy.
(Crap...my internet didn't update the thread before I posted my last post, Blue might have taken out Red Bird....although looking back Ember may be before Blue in the turn order)
Ember darts foward, slashing at the red bird, but it shifts its feet at her movement, and her blade glances harmlessly off a toenail.
((Yes, since they are large, they are 2 size categories bigger, so you can move through their space, but I'll say it's not a slide that leaves you prone slide, since you wouldn't have movement to get back up. 1. Superiority die only usable when you hit. 2.You can be there, but I generally don't put a mechanical benefit on flanking. If you still want that position though, it's yours.))
Talon, you are a bit disheartened that Mark didn't seem too inspired by your last little song, but you just KNOW he's got more fight in him than that! All he needs is a bit more encouragement to get back up and get in the fight again! ((You know healing word, and regain a Memory Die.))
Turn Order:
Talon --> Blue --> Guy --> Birds --> Big Un --> Mark --> Ember -->
Alpha Bird: (-26 HP)
Other Birds: Red (-15 HP)
Guy (BeastyC): (-11 HP)
Big 'Un (Templar): (0 HP) (Unconscious, not stablized)
Mark (Caladris): (0 HP) (Unconscious, not stablized) <d8>
((Yes, I would still like to be positioned on the other side of Red bird...hoping to be able to get around to the alpha on my next turn if red bird is taken out))
Talon drops the lute to pull the hand crossbow up and load another bolt, loosing rapidly to send a bolt through the alpha bird's neck and sending it flopping to the ground. The lute bounces off the bird below him and lands with a *crack* next to Big Un. Talon shouts out encouragement to Mark.
Mark, your consciousness is adrift and free from pain when you hear Talon commanding you to breathe. You draw in a breath and your eyes flicker open. Ugh, the birds weren't a dream. In fact, there's a bunch looming over your right now.
Blue's body becomes fluid, wind wrapping around him as his begins flowing and swirling to take on the form of an axe beak. The two nearest him look confused.
Blue, while your new form seems quite capable of violence, you wonder what good your old form is, but as you shift, you grow quite a bit and from your taller perspective can see Big Un slumped in the sand, staining the area nearby with his blood. You feel like you have it within you to be able to help him...
((You used your action to shift, but can use your bonus action to aid Big Un if you'd like.))
Turn Order:

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Blue pushes his will out towards Big Un, and a warm breeze swirls around him, ruffling his feathers as glowing sparks of light wink into existence, the breeze traveling up from his feet to his beak before swirling up into the air with a sparkle and a giggle of laughter, zipping and swirling over to bathe Big Un in the giggling glitter. The breeze ebbs and the glowing bits sink into his flesh and disappear as the giggling fades.
Big Un, you struggle back to consciousness, a feeling of peace and joy washing over your. Your wounds and aches gradually coming back into focus.
Guy stabs at the bird, but misses again.
Seemingly viewing Blue as one of their flock, two of them turn their attention to Ember, biting her viciously, but she's still on her feet!
Attack: 8 Damage: 7
Attack: 21 Damage: 7
Two snap at Guy, one of them missing, but the other one getting a decent nip in.
Attack: 19 Damage: 6
Attack: 7 Damage: 6
The last bird, unaware that the goliaths are still in the fight, leaps to snap at Talon, who is out of range. It shakes its head in anger, looking around for easier prey.
Turn Order:
Guy --> Birds --> Big Un --> Mark --> Ember --> Talon --> Blue -->
Blue will curse and frantically search for anything he might remember about these kind of birds, or about healing.
If this isn’t an action and I can’t figure anything out, he’ll thump the bird with his big stick, holding it with both hands.
Attack: 3 Damage: 5
Forgot to include a nature check: 5 (can’t remember what my mod is, although I know it)
Medicine: 19

As Big'Un comes to conscious he shakes his head to clear it and use a memory die (if applicable) memory die: 10
OOC: depending on if/when I use it will determine what Big'Un will do or is it an action to regain a memory?
