Quick question before locking down Saros's attack. If he were to cast Hypnotic Pattern centered on AP22 and 15 feet in the air he should be able to cover all four of Weirdings images and Mez with the spell. Question is whether if he allocated a portent roll to Weirding it would impact him directly, ignoring the multiple images, or whether it would be a random result as to whether the portent gets applied to 1 of the 4 images or not. Does Saros know what spell has been cast, and whether his use of portent would be beneficial if applied to Weirding or not?

Bearrik rages as a bonus action, charging into melee with one of the snake things (jumping over the grung if need be). He sinks his teeth into it, ignoring the presumably foul taste.
Bite: 26 Damage: 11
Claw: 18 Damage: 7
(Using Reckless)
Wrong damage for the claw, here’s the right dice: 12

Grunting throught the pain of Mez's firebolt, Saros pulls out another vial of phosphorescent liquid and invokes Hypnotic Pattern, centering it on the intersection of AJ14/15 so that the 30 foot cube affects the five guards and the Kamadan (but does not affect Ghee). Saros uses one of his portent rolls to give the Kamadan at AH11 a saving throw of 5 against the spell.
He then ducks behind the wall to AO1 to take himself out of sight of Mez and Weirding for now (and hopefully away from AOE somewhat), patting at his beard and clothes to smother any small flames.
OOC: Saros just got smoked and is down to 11HP, so going to have to heal him to stay in this battle.
(@MuggsHill: Don't forget that Saros has a couple of healing potions in his inventory!)
Bearrik leaps and rushes forward, meeting the other hybrid pet in combat {AG-10, AH-11}. He crashes into the similarly sized beast with fangs and claws, ripping fur and flesh as he goes. (Kamadan#2 takes 25 piercing and slashing damage.)
Despite his injuries, Saros sees no other course of action than to go on the offensive. Already knowing that one of the seven-headed beasts will fall to his incoming spell, the deep gnome carefully places a hypnotic pattern on the air just above the guards. In addition to the one beast, three guards can't help but look upward and be entranced by the pretty colors.
Following his spell, the gnome remains true to his MO and finds some cover.
Lord Weirding furiously flies closer to the party {AQ-10, AR-11}, looking down at the grung. He points a finger to the side, not where he is looking, and sends a powerful lightning bolt angled to hit Ghee and Bearrik.
Although both targets see the crackling bolt coming, only Ghee manages to react in time to partially dodge it. Nonetheless, the monk's entire left side stings and burns intensely. In a flash, Darrik loses control of his bear form and some of the tingly pain even manages to crossover to his dwarven form. (Ghee takes 21 lightning damage; Darrik takes 21 lightning damage, already halved, and returns to his dwarven form.)
Having already seen Saros use this spell before, the two guards who avoided it initially use the next few seconds to wake two other companions.

Though she would mentally cursed her inadequacies for not anticipating the cowardly wizard to actually grow a pair, and again for being slow on the draw, the Orange Grung is yet able to dismiss such feelings... for the moment. A quick scan of the battlefield is soon followed be her croaking a command to Ang and Bleep to focus fire on the beast one at a time, least their gases get the better of the dwarven defenders.
Immediately after Khan is on the move and soon joins her sensei in trying to strike down one as best as possible by axe and foot and thensome.

Khan joins in the attempt to neutralize the jaguars quickly. She advances and focuses her attacks on the one that is not hypnotized. She strikes with her signature axe-kick combo, making sure to keep the weapon raised to help parry any retaliatory attack (Agile Parry enacted.)
The orange grung then tries to land another couple of quick kicks but her aim falters when delivering the second one. (Kamadan#1 takes 20 slashing and bludgeoning damage.)

Following orders, Ang aims at the beast that Khan is fighting with her crossbow, this time not forgetting to quickly put poison on the tip of the bolt. Light crossbow:19 , damage 10 + 12 + poison (DC12 CON 8)
She then rushes behind a bush (AM1) to get some cover. Having a quick glance at the Lord, Ang shouts at Bleep in Grung "Bleep, I think the real Lord is the one on the far left !" (bonus action help) Behind the wall, she find Saros, also hiding. She wispers "Let's show them our full strength!"
Ang snaps into action following a received command. She quickly passes a bolt through her natural slime and shoots it in the direction of the active jaguar. The projectile passes between two of the wiggling serpent bodies, missing the creature completely.
Ang barely notices her miss. After pulling the trigger, she was already looking at Lord Weirding floating in the sky. She believes she sees one of the four wizards moving a fraction of a second before the others and warnsBleep.

Now facing its last successful assailant, the active hybrid encircles Khan so it can better aim its incoming attack {AO-13, AP-14}. The creature opens its many serpent mouths and releases its sleep-inducing gas.
-> Khan's CON saving throw {DC 12}: 21
-> Ghee's CON saving throw {DC 12}: 7
Expecting it, Khan and Ghee hold their breath for several seconds, waiting for the gas to dissipate. Meanwhile, the other pet can't help but look helpless.

Breaking desperately towards AO,15, Ghee takes a deep breath as soon as he gets out of the cloud of gas. Looking to put this kitty to sleep he aims a couple of vicious spear thrusts at its neck.
Attack 1: 15 Damage: 5
Attack 2: 21 Damage: 8
Hoping to avoid any particularly vicious spear thrusts from the manor guards, Ghee twirls his spear in his hands, hoping to dodge them through the tried and tested techniques of his forbears.
(OOC Spending a ki point for patient defence, using it to trigger dwarven fortitude to heal Ghee for 12. If he puts the kitty to sleep, Ghee uses the rest of his movement to beeline it towards Mez.)
Following his superior's instruction, Bleep sends a poisoned bolt to the old wizard. While he doesn't know which to hit, Ang's guess is as good as any ("far left," which I suppose AQ-11?).
Not wanting to be blasted by sleepy gas again, Ghee attacks its source with his spear. He aims for the neck but the creature shifts in the last minute. The tip of the dwarf's spear still penetrates, but the wounds are not mortal. (Kamadan#1 takes 17 piercing damage.)
Ghee then takes a moment to focus on his defense. As he does so, his naturally fast healing begins to take effect. (Ghee heals for 9 HP.)
(@MB: Please mark down both a Ki Point and a Hit Die. As before, you may have to mark down the Hit Die in the Notes section. Also, please note that Ghee is now inside a shallow pond. Water covers his ankles.)

Over by the well-trimmed bushes, Bleep follows his superior's command and aims his next bolt at the flying wizard. Hoping Ang's hunch is right, the green grung squeezes the trigger but the projectile passes through a fading illusion. The three remaining Lords become blurry for a second, shifting places as they come back into focus a second later.
In preparation for his next shot, Bleep rolls from one bush to the next, camouflaging well among its green leaves.
Although it is only a fraction of the power of her first bolt, the flames still manage to successfully hit and singe the albino dwarf. (Ghee takes 4 fire damage.)
(Darrik and Saros are up next. Darrik is no longer in his bear form.)

Saros uses the cover of the wall to grab a potion of healing, which he quickly breaks the seal of and drinks it down trying to recover from the Firebolt thrown his way (7 HP recovered), then moves 25 feet along the manor wall to AT1 (assuming that Weirding and others cannot see him) in order to reposition himself for the next round and to separate himself from the others to minimise any AOE spells that Weirding may throw.
