We have create magen, simulacrum, and create homunculus. I wouldn't complain about a "Create Golem" spell, but I worry that artificers won't have access to it like the three I just mentioned.
You can temporarily create/summon a golem with the summon construct that came out in Tasha's.

I....know that. I'm talking about making a permanent golem that everyone else has been talking about.
I'm doubting we'll ever see another Exandria setting book or anything...
Subclasses, Part 4 was undead, shadowy stuff - Ravenloft!
Subclasses, Part 5 was dragons - Dragonlance!
My bet is the next UA may be Subclasses (Part 6?) - Spelljammer, Greyhawk, Dark Sun or similarly themed.
Yeah, I doubt they'll redo any settings, with the possible exception of the Forgotten Realms because, (at least IMO) SCAG was terrible. I can't see them doing another repeat until they've gone over everything else.

I am really hoping they give subclasses a break for a bit...completely burned out on them. I hope its pretty much anything besides that.
They might do another Magic world, probably Zendikar.
They're definitely going to do that eventually, but we don't know when. Ravnica was released in 2018, and Theros was earlier in 2020, about 2 years apart. If they follow this "pattern", it will probably be 2022 before we see another magic world.

Good call....they do like to stick with patterns.
Honestly a setting book would be amazing right now but I am assuming they will more likely go with Dragonlance now that the lawsuit is over.
I really really hope that they put the races through the UA, but I also dread the idea of ending up watered down versions of some of the classic races.

Agreed. My love/hate relationship with UA has started slipping more to the right side of that divider line.
Yeah, but when the CFVs and the Psi Die finally made it into print they were nerfed so hard from what they were in UA that they are just a disappointment now by comparison.
i remember seeing a post on this thread speculating about the possibillity of the half-giant as an UA option and just want to add to that concept that the half-giant had the original version of the "powerful build" trait that is now so commonly used in 5e where it had some of the benefits of being a medium creature and some of the benefits of being a large creature, and i just think that is neat

i am soup, with too many ideas (all of them very spicy) who has made sufficient homebrew material and character to last an thousand human lifetimes
Yeah, a Half-Giant would definitely have Powerful Build.
At first I thought that they wouldn't make a Half-Giant race because the Goliaths exist, but now that they are specific to cold environments I think they are more likely to make a Half-Giant race.

yeah honestly just change their cold resistance for fire resistance and give them the barest fluffy affinity for psionics and you should be fine for the half-giant
the tri-kreen is a bit complicated but can be handled

I know. I just think that if there's already a spell that allows you to "make a golem", I don't think they'll make another.
However, I would like a spell that lets you make a golem or shield guardian, but it would take a lot of restrictions to not be OP.

I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)

The lawsuit was settled, actually.
A fool pulls the leaves. A brute chops the trunk. A sage digs the roots.
My Improved Lineage System
Yeah I saw that! They also said that fans would be excited for an announcement...which could mean a book or maybe a setting book.
...Dear god, my jokes about a UA Kender might actually become a reality now...
