I'd really love some Spelljammer appreciation. So many Spelljammer races have been tossed aside this edition so far that I'd assume they're going to release them all at once in a collection kind of like Fizban's Treasury. And I'd totally be there to playtest a playable Giff and playable Dohwar.
Personally, I'd love to see a UA focused primarily on the Half-Casters (Artificer, Paladin, Ranger.)
Whether that's new subclasses, new feats, new spells, or more Optional Class Features. Artificer in particular needs a few more subclasses and at least one set of OCF's.
Am I expecting to see this? No. But it's what I want.
Id love to see a Half-Cast spell list UA with a bunch of spells that are uniquely available to those classes. Artificers don't have any class-unique spells like Paladin or Ranger spell lists do
No one seems to complain about sorcerers getting only one (I’m not checking, but I can only name one, so I’m guessing that’s how many they have).
Artificers are not quite half casters. They get round up progression and they have cantrips, so my group calls them three-quarter casters.

This isn't actually a signature, just something I copy and paste onto the bottom of all my posts. Or is it? Yep, it is. Or is it..? I’m a hobbit, and the master cranial imploder of the "Oops, I Accidently Destroyed Someone's Brain" cult. Extended sig. I'm actually in Limbo, it says I'm in Mechanus because that's where I get my WiFi from. Please don't tell the modrons, they're still angry from the 'Spawning Stone' fiasco. No connection to Dragonslayer8 other than knowing them in real life.
Because of the recent survey, I am expecting more optional rules.

Man I am not sure we are ready for that so soon after Tasha's....we are barely seeing how those play out and adding more would not be my jam right now.

Maybe not right now, but I remember a similar survey coming out before Tasha’s, so it will most likely be happening eventually.

Instead of more optional features, I wouldnt mind a UA trying out more variant features for subclasses that have been poorly received since they were released (Battlerager, PDK, 4EM, etc) as opposed to overarching features which apply to classes as a whole.

I wouldn't mind actual Variant Features as apposed to Additional Features which is what we really got from Tasha's

Indeed, give the poor kuldjargh a little love. I always loved that subclass.
I just flipped a table having realized a month after the fact that if Wizards ever does produce a UA Path of the Dragon Barbarian with DRAGONRAGE, I'm going to have to homebrew it into DDB.

Don't worry Midnight. Maybe WotC will get around to it when they publish So-And-So's Whatchamahoozit Of Something, Something...
Come to think of it, it seems like the vast majority (if not all UA) is targeted at playtesting player options (or things that could be used by both the player and DM): subclasses, spells, feats, etc.
I am wondering, if WotC were to try and release a set of playtest material specific to the DM side what that would look like
Monster stats? Optional variant rules? Encounters that would eventually be baked into a full dungeon?

To be honest I think this is going to backfire. It was one of the things I really looked forwards to.
I'm mad about it, but if there's a UA I really wanna play, I'll just build it myself.

And I'm no longer speculating the Unearthed Arcana that DND Beyond contains, the future of Unearthed Arcana for Wizards in general.
You know, I am *NOT* looking forward to the deluge of threads that're gonna pop up asking when the next UA is gonna be implemented...
I am, in a sick can't look away from the train wreck, kind of way.
