I wonder if they'll toss Fey Wanderer. I don't think it's bad or anything, but a lot of the people I've talked to about UA stuff think that it's too similar to Horizon Walker. Personally, I think its specialization in Fey matters makes it wholly separate from the vague planar themes of Horizon, but that's just me.
It sounds like I'm trashing Horizon, but I actually quite like the subclass, don't get me wrong.

It's ok Ranger, you'll always be cool to me.. Unless druid gets another use for its wild shape charges.
I agree with you, Deadseven. I think it's a 50/50 chance to drop or keep, as quite a few people are complaining about it being to similar to the Horizon Walker. I personally think it's closer to the Swarmkeeper (you know, that ranger subclass you probably forgot about, or haven't thought of in awhile) because they're both connected to fey.

I personally would like to see a mix or revised an new, maybe like 2 each. For example i do not want to see yet another supplement book which only gives the wizard one new subclass and i personally think Scribes needs some work (and a name change but thats a different story). Also potentially a new Bard and Paladin subclass considering Theros is gonna publish Heroism and Eloquence so then they will only have 2 which are in UA rotation atm
Yeah, I think it will be 3-4 revised subclasses. Not sure which ones, but I hope they're good. They're probably trying to get some subclasses into the publishable range for a new book.
I think it will come out Tuesday 6/9, because it seems like it is coming out every 4th Tuesday.
Yeah but you know what i mean. Its not officially released yet so they are still “UA” and that was totally not supposed to be the take away from that Lmao

No, it is officially published and those UAs are already Archived. I got the takeaway, I was simply intending to inform.

Normally they only revise the super broken subclasses. Any of those come to mind from recent UA (past yearish).
I'd say the Astral Monk and Wild Magic Barbarian are in need of being tested again, or the Beast Barbarian.

Mercy monk also needs quite a big fix. Maybe the Armorer Artificer. I could see a new subclass, but most likely not. Lurker in the Deep could also get a revision, but it wasn't too horribly broken, like the Astral Self Monk or Wild Magic Barbarian was.

I like the idea of a healing monk, but mercy monk was an odd way to go about it in my opinion. It works in some aspects though, so I'd rather they just retried the whole subclass than scrap it

I know. It was not as much "life and death" as it was "healing punches and poison". I would've preferred if they could do radiant/necrotic damage, or something like that.

I'd really like to see more spells that require a melee spell attack. I've been trying to make a character that focuses on them but it's been very difficult, especially with there only really being a single cantrip.

I was thinking draconic sorcerer, but that only leaves shocking grasp as a melee cantrip, and not much else for a while.
A lot of us would like a Sorcerer that is good at melee combat, like a Hexblade and Bladesinger. A cantrip could be a good way to do this, though we do have Green-flame Blade and Booming Blade.

well for "savage halflings" you can simply do what ebberon did and use stout halflings, seeing an str boost halfling might be cool

There are many Cantrips that use Spell Attacks: Fire Bolt, Eldritch Blast, Chill Touch, Ray of Frost, Produce Flame....
Shocking Grasp and Thorn Whip specifically require Melee Spell Attacks.

They're overwhelmingly in the minority of spells though, and the number gets even smaller once you limit to a specific class.

There's not that many really, and building a character around using melee or ranged spell attacks is fairly difficult
Really? I thought that most combat casters focus on attack spells, or at least most of mine do
