Hello, I recently purchased the Aasimar race to use for a character. When I try to create the character, the race does not show up. Only variant Aasmiar does. All content options are on and the purchase was attributed to my account. I can see it under my marketplace tab and in my email. Please help

 The Scourge Aasimar was in Volo’s, which is no longer available for purchase. In Mordekainen’s presents Monsters of the Multiverse, the Aasimar subraces were merged together, and there is a choice at 3rd level that reflects the old subrace variations.  So you could purchase it there.

NOTE: the original Scourge Aasimar was reprinted in Wildemount.  You can’t purchase it individually from the Wildemount page, but I think if you purchased all of Wildemount, you would then have access to the now "legacy” scourge Aasimar.

What race specifically are you trying to access? General content troubleshooting steps are below:

If you cannot access content that you think you should be able to (whether you bought it or it is being content shared with you) make sure you have done the following:

• Make sure you or the person doing the content sharing bought the correct thing and not for example, the changeling monster as opposed to the race changelling
  
  
• Make sure you or the person doing the content sharing has their entitlements in sync here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace
  
  
  
• If it is content originally published in a setting specific book for Eberron, Magic the Gathering, or Critical Role, make sure the appropriate content toggles are on. For example, Changeling was originally published in Rising from the Last War and then reprinted in Monsters of the Multiverse. Circle of Spores was in the Ravnica book and then Tasha's.

• If this is something you bought and it still isn't working you will need to raise a support ticket.
  
  
• If this is content being shared with you, make sure content sharing is enabled for that campaign.
  • If you enabled content sharing, it should say You have enabled content sharing in this campaign
    
    
    
  • If someone else enabled content sharing, it should say "Content Sharing Enabled by UserName"

  • Follow the join link into the campaign
  • Click on Create A Character at the top of the page
  • Make sure the toggles are set as appropriate
• If the shared content still isn't working, have the person who enabled content sharing disable and then enable content sharing again
  
  
• If it still isn't working, you will need a support ticket.

I understand that they amalgamated the content into a newer book, that was supposed to encompass the sub races. The content, as far as I can tell, isn’t actually there. Protect Assimar have limited flight. Is there still a way to make these characters? Any if so, what do I need to buy, and then look for in the character builder? 

Instead of eliminating a book and trying to include the content in another, there should be a way for the two to call exist, and have the data appear properly in character builder with two books.

What was formerly the Protector Aasimar is now represented by selecting the Radiant Soul Celestial Revelation. It too has a similar limited flight.

If you still really, really want to use the old version the only way is to recreate it in the homebrewer if you didn’t purchase it from Volo’s before that book went out of print.
