Came on today before our session to finish up some new homebrew items for my players that they would have in the current session. None of them are appearing when they search for the item with manage equipment, and it is not showing up for me when I try to do the same. All of my older homebrewed items are still working as intended, and showing up in search.
Are they in your “collection,” only homebrews there will show up. That way you can create stuff, but remove it from your collection to hide it from your players until you are ready for them to see it.
Today I haven't been able to find my homebrew magical items that I have in my collection to my campaign's players. Normally this hasn't been a problem, but today all of a sudden as a DM I'm unable to share my Homebrew items to my players anymore (Homebrew content is on for the players as it always is and the items are in my collection). I was advised to open a new thread as a similar thread was set to resolved. Is there a glitch?
Public Mod Note
(MellieDM):
Merged to collected thread.
Could you please provide a link to an affected character, as well as the (unpublished) link to a homebrew item you're unable to add? I'll be happy to take a closer look at this for you.
I've got a weird issue with my current character in a campaign. Our DM is running a homebrew setting and I'm playing a custom variant of the Wild Magic Sorcerer with some bonus custom bonus spells created by the DM.
Since going from level 3 - 4 it seems I've lost access to my bonus spells as well as any of the other custom spells that were added in our campaign. Whats stranger still is that after setting my sheet public everyone but me can still see that I do have the bonus spells. My home brew content is toggled on, I even tried toggling on and off but still no luck.
Any idea what the issue might be?
UPDATE: So we've tried a few thing, toggled homebrew on and off, cleared my browser cache, tried different devices (2 computers, my phone and my tablet) tried both chrome and firefox. I've even tried creating a new unassigned character in the campaign and the revised wild magic origin my DM made is not available and I still can't view the any of the custom spells.
This is really frustrating me now, I can only guess there's some account wide setting that's messed me up here. Again, everyone else in my campaign sees nothing wrong, its only me viewing my character via my account that sees anything wrong.
FURTHER UPDATE: 100% My account is the issue, if I view my own character while logged out I can see the spells. As soon as I log in I can no longer see the spells.
I host a campaign and enabled all of my content sharing with all of the modules I’ve purchased and my players have purchased. I can’t add items I’ve created to their inventories and neither can they. These items don’t appear in the equipment manager. Also, when I tried to add a Sword of Sharpness, it said no result found for that too. So basic items aren’t appearing for them either. I’ve signed out and signed back in, and done everything in my power to try to fix this

I am having the same issue but the difference is that this is my first item I have created and wanted to share to the characters in my campaign. The item is listed in My Collection, I have a Master Tier subscription, content sharing is enabled, and so is Homebrew Content on all of the character sheets.
EDIT: I am able to add it to my own characters outside of my campaign, still no luck with those in my campaign.
Hello! Could you please open the Preferences sidebar for your character (name dropdown, Preferences) and scroll to the bottom? After the sharing settings is there any text?
Up until yesterday, it used a homebrew subclass sucessfully. I created a new one, that did not show up. After I deselected the old one, the old one disappeared as well. Currently only Thief and two UA archetypes are available.
Just want to check. Homebrew is toggled on in character preferences (not grey), right? Is the homebrew in your collection? If the homebrew is published, is the character is in a content sharing campaign?
In my case: Yes. Homebrew toggled on, item in my collection (even in my creations, never submitted), And I am sharing content as the DM. Apparently a player now was able to add the item - Still I can not.
I'm having the same exact problem as the OP. Everything in my home-brew collection is showing up, and items added a to players inventory are in their inventory and working fine. However it the player try to trade the item, they can not find it in the managed inventory. Basically any home-brew I've created can not be found by my players (or me to add to their inventory) right now.
It appears that a number of people are having a similar issue, it most likely has to do with the character sheet revamp that they have been working on. It’s all packaged together with the data entry system for stuff, basically the exact same system we use for homebrew. It’s the same revamp that will allow them to implement the Class Feature Variants as well as finally integrating all the stuff from E:RftLW and EGTW. Lots of exciting stuff on the way from DDB, they just still have a few kinks to work out is all.

I experience the same problem.
It worked like a week ago...
Further the website hangs if used with the Beyond20 Extension when opening a homebrew item that was already added to the players inventory
I am also experiencing the same issue, but only in one of my campaigns.
It was working, but now I cannot bring up homebrew items, and if I try to remove one it triggers an error page.
I am having the same issue but the difference is that this is my first item I have created and wanted to share to the characters in my campaign. Same problem here. Unable to find any homebrew in character's "Manage Equipment > Add Item"
I am in a campaign run by someone else. This person created some homebrew races under his account. When I create a character I cannot see the races. The character is in the campaign and homebrew option is turned on. He created the same races under my account which I can select. Other players, however see the races twice now. The GM can also see the double races when editing my character. But when I try to do it with my account I can't seem to make it work. None of the races are published.
This is a race the GM created: https://www.dndbeyond.com/races/363393-centaur-thylean
This is the same race created with my account: https://www.dndbeyond.com/races/365270-centaur-thylean-angelique

Is there something up with the content sharing at the moment?
I tried to create a few items and a sub class for this character: https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/Katzi/characters/20150757
Up until yesterday, it used a homebrew subclass sucessfully. I created a new one, that did not show up. After I deselected the old one, the old one disappeared as well. Currently only Thief and two UA archetypes are available.
This was the one, I made the test with: https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/rogue/subclass/357064/
Same issue - affected character https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/Hastos_Hallwinter/characters/15668740 and unlisted item https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/1028486-staff-of-restoration
