In my campaign the characters will reach lvl 20 before it ends, it will even be possible for them to gain an Epic Boon. I was testing the character creation tool and couldn't find where to add the epic boons, are they available?

Yes, as before, there are plans to add boons to the character sheet - it's on "the list" :)
For now, probably the easiest way to create them is to make a homebrew feat and add it through the character sheet (so not using an ASI).
Thanks for responding!
And... Holy rusted metal - I didn't realize we manage feats from within the CS without advancing a level! I really need to read those changelogs going forward.
How? I went to look for ways to do that but I couldn't find a way to add a new feat without an ASI level to burn.
EDIT: I found that I can do it through the character sheet (Not the Editor, weirdly) but I added the Magic initiate feat to a rogue, and yet I did not get the option to select the spell. It just gave an error saying that I didn't have a feature to allow that (I added four feats, I was trying to duplicate a Dragon's variant spellcasting, but the Magic Initiates only go to lv 1 and the variant spellcasting allows for a viarable level of spells, in my case, this NPC would have up to 1 lv 3 spell)

Directly on the character sheet under “features & Traits” you can tap/click “feats” and you will see an option to “manage feats” and you can do it there.

I’m glad you found it. As for the variant stuff that’s Homebrew territory. Why don’t you post about it in that forum and I can help you out.

Not currently.
It is intended to add boons, downtime learning of feats etc, though this will be after the character sheet revamp.

For now, my workaround has been to create homebrew magic items to add the boon's effects.
Thank you, that's good workaround
-bump-
Is there any plans to add this functionality now that the new character sheets are active?

Yeah, it's a REALLY handy way of adding custom abilities to a character. :)

Whats the word on Boons in 2020?
I hope it is being worked on, still waiting for the ability to add boons.
Calvin Gural
Honestly same
Been wanting to play around with the Boons in a normal way for quite some time now, would be nice
Hope that gets done soon
Going to add my 2 bits to that!
You can currently create the epic boons as feats and add them directly to the character sheet.
