I have a 12th level Warlock (so all of her pact spells are cast at 5th level) who has Scorching Ray on her spell list. Because it is a spell with an attack roll involved, it was auto-populated to the Combat block (which is fine, I wanted it there.) However, in the notes section of the combat block, it lists the "Count" (number of Rays that you get for casting the spell) at "+3". Is there any way you can fix this to being either "6" or "3 + 3" so that it is easier or remember that I get 3 for just casting the spell and then 3 more for pumping the spell to 5th level?
I miss that I can't write my Weight in kg and lbs.
I use the metric system normaly. But I understand that most stuff in D&D uses imperial system. With Height I can just write "6 ft. (1.82m)" but Weight I can only type in a number.
So is it posibel to make i just a free text like with Height. So I can write "132 lbs (60 kg)"?
I'm not sure if this has already been brought up, but is there a way we can get the text for Homebrew feats brought onto both digital and exported character sheets? It looks like bonusues from it are apllying correctly, but actions it makes available are not. It would just be a handy add to have.
On the whole though I am very happy with the new revamp. Thanks guys!
I said it in another thread, but I play The Unearthed Arcana Ranger Revised Beast Conclave. I just want a separate toggle sheet or area that can be attached to your main PC sheet for companion animals or familiars. I would love to have a section that can be run through just like a regular sheet and have options for all of the companions and familiars that you can use to input your stats just like your character. Having to put them in the notes section sucks. I would also be nice if we could have the option to choose if we want to use the desktop layout or the tabs on smaller devices such as tablets and phones. I love the clean look of the desktop site but when I am on my tablet I have to toggle through a bunch of different tabs to look at everything. I know this was done from a design standpoint to make sure you don’t have to scroll to access anything but I like the “traditional” one page (or two pages if your spell caster) paper layout of everything all on one page. It has taken a bit of time to be speedy while in combat clicking through all the tabs. Other than that it’s very simple and clean looking and makes it fairly simple to update or export your characters.
This has got to be the best character sheet tool I've ever seen. I liked it before, but it's so much better now. I am overall very happy with this update. The only suggestions I could make are to improve homebrew integration (the exported sheet didn't include my descriptions for racial traits, although that might just be some stupid mistake on my part), and maybe to allow learning spells on the character sheet itself, as before (this might just be a ranger thing though, or just something that I'm missing). Again, super happy with this! I can't wait to share this with my D&D group.

I apologize if its been said before but i wanted to comment on the pdf export sheets.
Please add a column or notation on spell sheets to show for concentration spells.
The other possessions field from the equipment section of the digital character sheet does not appear on the pdf export
None of the prepared spells are showing as prepared on the printed sheet only spells that are always prepared from class features show a P in the column
None of the weapon attack and cantrip notes appear on the pdf export
Characters with long backstories or lots of text in allies and organizations sections the text get truncated in the pdf export, it would be cool if the text overflowed into an additional page.
I love the revamp and really look forward to seeing the fine tuning. Excellent job and thanks!
I got to try a lot of features this weekend at Dexcon.
I could not figure out how to raise max hp or temp hp via Aid spell or other effects. I saw that the hp slider is there, but the 'apply changes' button does not come up like when you raise or lower hit points. Am I missing something?
I liked being able to add conditions from the sidebar, but I could not easily check the condition's info by clicking on it (like most other things on the page). Is it because a second sidebar cannot be created after a sidebar change?
I also noticed it was a pain to track any clickable uses like ki that were not on the main page and required scrolling.
All you have to do now is type in the number and press either the green 'Heal' or red 'Damage' buttons above and below, respectively. Temporary hit points are added by clicking that spot and typing in the number.
Casting the spell won't have any effect on the character sheet because most of the effects are random, and D&D beyond doesn't have a Random Number Generator, or don't actually apply to your character, being cast on someone else.
You're right about the conditions. Maybe a fix could be: open the conditions sidebar, expand the condition for an explanation, and then toggle the condition on and off as needed?
I'm playing a Fighter/Rogue cross-class and have a lot to scroll through on the Features & Traits - Class Features section, so I understand the difficulty of scrolling up and down. Maybe in the next patch they can let us pick which features show up at the top.

I would love to see condition info too. There is capability in the system for sidebars to click through to another sidebar (works for magic items with spells), so I don’t see why not. Or even better, if the relevant info for conditions slid in under each title that is turned “on”
That's in the Features & Traits - Class Features section, you just have to scroll down and you should see it. Limited use feats should be under the Features & Traits - Feats section.
My only complaint at this point is with the Ritual Caster feat - I have to list each of my character's spells in the notes, which doesn't allow for the hyperlink or sidebar.
I really want to be able to see everything on the same page on iPad. That's my main complaint.
I find myself having to constantly switch between the attributes page, spells page and combat page. I only ever use the combat page for AC and Initiative values, why can't they just stay at the top of the attribute page?
I've played about 15 hours with the new UI and It's come to a point where I miss the original UI or just want to go back to using a single paper and pen character sheet.
Constant errors. [iPad]
Over the last few days almost any change I make to my character, whether it's health, adding an item, etc, puts a big error on my iPad. It will accept the change but then if I refresh it'll revert back to where it was. The app basically won't work for me right now.
Text not fitting in boxes. [iPad]
Some of the players at my table have smaller iPad's or tablets. The text doesn't seem to fit within the boxes properly on some of their devices. I'm sure this is a known problem and I understand it'll take time to modify it for every screen size.
This must be a recent change I haven't noticed til recently but I'm happy that one's description/backstory isn't viewable by sharing character sheet link/viewable in campaign anymore. Thanks for that.
I understand the desire to hide certain details such as descriptions and notes. I have also heard people mention desire the ability to share the content of those sections as well. Why not add a third option?

Public: everything visible
Protected: same as current “public” setting
Private: same as current “private” setting
We have always intended to add permission levels, but weren't able to get them in for the first pass. The current way it works is a "meanwhile" situation and will not persist.
It will be cool if You add Magic Items with charges to Actions Tab, or make "New Dawn" option to Long Rest, becose now recharging Magic Items with Dawn based charge refreshment in inventory is very clumsily, and not easy to use.
Having all three reset contingencies as actionable check boxes would be nice actually. thanks for the inspiring thought here.
So, to me, where the issue comes in is with the items that recharge xDy number of charges on said rest or dawn/dusk. It's hard to lump that in all at once. However, if they did something where, in the Long Rest pop-out panel, your charge-based items were listed simply by name and boxes, it would work pretty well. I'm not good with making mockup screenshots, so I'll do my best to textually visualize how this would look in my mind:
Staff of the Woodlands (regains 1d6 + 4 daily at dawn)
[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [button to reset all on rest, similar to HP checkbox]
Again, I'm not near as talented as some on this thread, but something like this for any item you have equipped/attuned, or even just all of them in your inventory, wouldn't take up too much room. The theory behind it being that at least everything is in one location when needing to recharge, and you can just clear the boxes needed or check the full recharge box. There's already plenty of space below the current rest information and options in the sidebar, in my opinion.
Yeah, I wondered why this isn't just an HTML page with print CSS using units of picas, points, and inches for layout.

Are there any plans to make a panel that shows all your limited use powers in one place?
