At 169 pages, this list has gotten a bit out of hand. Would it be possible to condense it down somehow? Like 'Bring back ala carte purchases' and then add up all of the votes? I'm pretty sure at least 10% of these are that feature alone.
I ask mainly because I'm not going to read all 100+ pages to make sure that my next idea hasn't already been posted by someone. I'd rather up-vote their than clutter the page.

Yea, it woudl be nice. You are in the same boat as the rest of us. There are many repititous requests becasue it's nearly impossible to know if someone made the same suggestion already. What they need is an enhancement request system, but that would only work if they cared about what customers wanted.
BTW, there actually aolready is a thread dedicated to the loss of a la carte purchases, in case you haven't been there already.
At least allow us to order the bundle physical/digital book in our language, because now we purchase the book separately and don't have access to the classes in D&D Beyond... Other than buying the book full price a second time.
Please make "2024 Content" one of the toggle options for Sources in Character Settings instead of forcing it onto Legacy characters. I hate having to select my sources every time I search Feats or Items to exclude 5.5E stuff, or be certain not to choose 5.5E spell or feat options when selecting new spells for a class feature or feat. Instead of making it automatic with old content also being options, it should just be another option on the listing to keep the quality of service up for existing players running older 5E content.
Is there any news on when/if they are planning to fix the bug regarding legacy warlock invocations not showing up? I know there was an issue with a coding thing that was going to take time to fix but it has been 4 months so I am curious if this is something that is still on the backburner or entirely forgotten. Also if there is any news I missed on potentially adding custom 2024 backgrounds to the character builder without needing homebrew now that it is official content under the DMG? Thank you.
Just another request to allow us to turn off the 2024 content from our libraries and to separate 5th edition from 6th edition so that those that wish to continue to use their existing content that they've paid for, can continue to use their content that they've paid for without having to weave through what is and is not 6th edition content versus 5th edition content.
Sidekicks, Acquisitions Inc Franchise Roles, Piety from Tharos, Dark Gifts from Ravenloft, Epic Boons, Charms, Blessings & similar pre-buyout promises & for pre-2024 characters.
A la carte purchases.
Letting us own digital content instead of renting it.
Basically all pre-buyout promises & post-Buyout content in every book INCLUDING Partnered Content, restoring purchasing freedom, & user-friendly instead of investor-friendly DRM.
And while I'm at it, renew all Partnered Content licenses that expire or have expired, bring back the Bilgewater subclasses, support of things like Wild Beyond The Witchlight's Happiness Tracker in Maps, & make all past Unearthed Arcana content not literally reflected in 2024 books as free content for full usage.

Reiterating: We need to be able to turn off 5E24 content altogether, including the free SRD content.
Started a new campaign last night using 5E14 rules. Druid player was baffled that she couldn't find the Circle of the Moon subclass. Of course, it was because she'd naturally selected Druid as her class at the top of the character creation page instead of scrolling down to the bottom, where the 5E14 versions of the classes are buried.
My wife, who possesses great management acumen, likes to say, "If you want people to do something, make it the easiest thing." You've clearly taken her words to heart: WotC obviously wants people to embrace 5E24, and you've made that so easy that players end up doing it even if they don't mean to. But conversely, you've made the choice to continue using D&D Beyond with 5E14 tedious and frustrating, and that's got me wondering whether I ought to bother renewing my Master-level subscription this year. There's a video in which Jeremy Crawford tells me, "If you hate the 2024 content, you don't have to use it." Don't make a liar of him.
Homebrew drop downs seem very limited. Allow us to add our own selections to the drop down list. Essentially, if we type in a selection in a drop down not already in the list, allow us to confirm adding it to the drop down list.
haven't seen it asked much, but being able to search for certain traits in monsters would be nice. I know all the options in the advance filter are based on lists, but maybe just a field with a keyword search or something, i dont know. I'm trying to search for monster with Sunlight Sensitivity and searching for that in the monster search ain't possible. The global search only gives me results in special sources (like Waterdeep Dragon Heist).

To help with your immediate issue, I noticed there is a Reddit on the topic of finding creatures with sunlight sensitivity where people have mentioned quite a few.
Feature Request: the ability to spend Hit Dice (and having it memorized by the page application) without pressing the Short Rest button. Some game mechanics (official, 3rd party or DM house rules) allow characters to spend Hit Dice for various reasons that have nothing to do with a Short Rest.
What is the value of doing a comb-through to compile the requests? I would probably do it based on an upvote threshold instead of trying to tally mark each idea on 600 posts.
As someone who has been using the D&D Beyond Encounter Builder tool religiously for the past two years, I would really love if the Updated Encounter Builder changes could be used on their own outside of the Maps.
Most of my games where I use the tool are in person, and even those that are online, the original stand alone encounter builder was far easier to manage, view, and setup quickly. This wouldn't be an issue for me if I could still use the old Encounter Builder.. but that one currently points all spell listings and tooltips to 2014 content rather than 2024.
Please make a toggle to turn off access to 2024 rules & classes in Character creation/Campaigns.
If people prefer using 5e, make a toggle to turn off 2024 content just like with Legacy since it looks close enough like 5e but absolutely breaks the game if one person creates a class in 2024 by mistake.
Many long time users i feel are in the same boat, all books and content made for 5e are much harder to utilize and it will drive people away from using the platform in general.

Are you not being upfront with players about what is and isn't allowed?
Or do you want a free copy of the 2014 books?
Like...I want a toggle, too, but if you(assuming you're a DM) aren't telling your players what is or isn't allowed, or not content sharing in a dummy campaign for the purposes of such on here, that behavior isn't on the site. If you aren't legally sharing 2014 content you own via the tools that exist, I advise you do so.

I really wish I could control more of my character sheet's content. Specifically, the UI and organization of the character sheet. I don't like feeling lost and unsure of where my character's information is and if I wanted it elsewhere I just have to get used to where it is. The more complex a character is or simply higher level it is... I find myself scrolling through tons of texts and tabs just trying to find something.
Currently, the character sheet is fixed boxes with set locations, sizes, and font sizes. The only customization or control held over the character sheet is the background, character's profile picture and frame, and the color of boxes.
I would imagine the character sheet would start how it is now as a standard sheet that can always be reverted to. There could even be different set styles (Or even Homebrewed styles created by others!) that those could choose from. And then you could preview how it may look as a PDF or printed version and be able to adjust it from there!
At the very least, I would want the ability to organize where my features, abilities, and all such content are within the largest main box and collapse the info that I may hardly ever look at that, which (in my opinion) most memorize early on or need not look at.
Maybe each ability, feature, feat, etc are their own contained (collapsible) box within whichever tab they're slotted that I can click and drag to a different location. For example, if I am playing a dwarf with Stonecunning, I could drag Stonecunning out of Species Traits and to the very top if I wanted to. And then in the small text next to it's location (Stonecunning says "free rules, pg. 188") it could add where my character obtains this ability from like this: "Stonecunning - free rules, pg. 188 - Species Traits: Dwarf".
Here are some more ideas to have more control over one's own character sheet:
Custom Font Sizes Custom Font Colors, Highlights, and Styles Control of box sizes Control of box locations Control of box shapes Collapsible boxes Creation of new boxes
I could go on and on, but I hope you get the idea :)
Homebrew: The ability to create a homebrew, normal, non-magical weapon. With a form to fill in all the requisite stats and description (damage, properties, mastery, description). While the core covers a broad overwhelming majority of weapons, there are still a number that don't quite fit those broad categories. It would be nice to be able to create those, that would work within the DDB character system.
Agreed... to create things like batons, bo staffs, or kukri, I've had to make magic items, and still can't quite get it to do what I want. Yet, the game has spent resources making a ywlkra or something like that, which to my knowledge, no one has ever used, ever.
