If there is a way to do group PMs I would like to know how. I see myself doing player PMs to let them know about upcoming sessions, changes relevant to the campaign, and other campaign-related communication.
Do what you would do to send one person a private message, then, before you send it, click in the textbox with the recipient's username and type the other recipients' usernames, separated by semicolons. As an example, if I wanted to message all the moderators at once, it would look something like this:

I'd love to see a turn based campaign manager so sessions could be played remote. On your lunch break, see if its your turn in combat, make your roles and have the GM able to see them and respond. Sure a round of combat may take a day but it allows for people to play on the go.

This feels more like a D&D With Friends app (which I would totally play) than a feature for a regular campaign management tool. That being said, some sort of notification on your browser when it is your turn in combat would be nice. Like an audible ding or something with a flashing browser tab, not unlike what happens with Facebook or Google messenger when you're not on the right tab and someone responds to you.
I apologize if this has been brought up already, but threaded message capability would be great. Something like a message board where you could decide if you wanted to receive notifications of additions to threads or not.
I don’t know if this has been brought up but an initiative tracker that you can add a handful or presaved (or not) enemies (saveable) along with the group of PCs that can be easily adjusted, maybe clicking a “next in initiative button” and it auto pulls up the next character.

A lot of people are mixing up campaign management and combat management. WoTC already licenses to two platforms for combat management. I could be wrong, but I don't think they would want to compete with those entities.

You are not wrong, but DDB, to me at least, feels more like a "theater of the mind" environment, and a combat tracker can be extremely useful anyway, even without trying to compete with Roll20 or Fantasy Grounds.

Entirely dependant on your view.
To me campaign management is the literal definition of a dms job. A dms job is to me, including combat tracking, treasures, npcs, environments, reactions of said environments. So to me both adventures and combat are subs of campaign managing.

I think an neat feature would be some stats on the party. An overview of levels, number of magic items, number of minor and major magic items, etc. There are some guides on what parties should have at given levels (Xanathar, DMG) and it could be helpful to show that info at a glance. Perhaps even grouped by party member if listing items obtained.
This! Minor/Major magic items and magic items in general. I am interested in this not only in campaign management, but in the magic item section as a tag. Being able to filter out major or minor items would be enormously helpful, especially when taking into account the suggestions for magic items includes this.

I think you're confusing combat management with visualization of combat. I have no use for a virtual grid at my table to visualize combat. I do have use for an encounter builder and initiative tracker that will link to player and monster abilities.
The ability to scale encounters to account for larger/smaller or more/less powerful groups would be extremely helpful as a campaign management tool. This kind of functionality would be especially helpful when modifying existing content from the modules so that a DM can customize the encounter to better match that of the party in the game they are running. After which the DM can print/save the customized encounter into an encounter worksheet (which can track initiative HP etc) for use in game.
I'd like to be able to add my characters to my campaign. I have NPCs that PC may need to play and I'd like to be able to share them with the group. The current PDF generator is a poor substitute for using the character site.

CR are developped for 3-5 players. Usually adding more enemies like 2 more gnolls for exemple is a great way to calculate for higher numbers. So if the encounter is 5 gnolls for 3 to 5 players then for 6 it would be 7 gnolls. For 7 it would be 9 and for 8 players it would be 11 !
Thats how chris perkins does it and it works at my table. Aside from that it entirely depends on the encounter. There is no way to balance environmental stuff into this equation.

You can add characters to your own campaign. Go to the same link that you give your players.
Less directed toward the campaign management toolset, and more toward all of this feedback. At over 30 pages, now, there are bound to be many duplicated responses and thoughts - some of which I may have missed or forgotten about.
After this thread is locked, but before full and final development begins, I would like to maybe see the compiled list of items posted. Perhaps in a thread where you can only vote on items? This way we can, for example, all vote on our top 5-10 items which the community would like to see in a campaign management toolset. I request this with the understanding that the item categories would be a condensed verbiage which may not represent the fullness of a given feature within said toolset, but it would allow for a more condensed view of everything. Not to mention another community pass wouldn't hurt.
Now, I say all of that to say this; our votes will undoubtedly only count for so much. I know that we may all vote for the hardest thing to do, and that may not be prudent as a top priority. So within those items voted on I would expect quicker and easier to achieve goals come out first, with a few of the major items mixed in.
