In complete fairness, you're not the only one to make this mistake. Though the wording is clear, I see no harm in adding a note to what is already there just to make it clearer about what you'll get with a subscription but, more importantly, what you don't get.
Something on the lines of what pocketmouse suggested would be ideal. Especially if it was highlighted in another colour so it's easier to spot:
'Subscriptions do not unlock any content that has been published in a D&D Sourcebook or Adventure, unless it was also provided for free as part of SRD/Basic rules' (e.g. Tempest Cleric, Drow Elf, Tasha's Hideous Laughter Spell, Entertainer Background)

Again, subscriptions don't unlock any content. Content provided for free is provided for free to everyone, subscription or not. As mentioned previously, creating a comprehensive list of what's not included in the subscription would be wholly impractical, and a partial list would only cause more confusion.
As it stands, the subscription page details everything that is included in the subscription as that's the only way to provide information that's:
Clear and readable (a full list of everything not included would not be)
Accurate (a partial list of examples would not be)
The current wording is obviously not clear enough if people keep making this mistake. Some note that subscriptions do not unlock any playable content, only tools, however you want to word it, seems necessary.

Completely agree - I guess what I'm getting at is, even though I completely understood this when I read it, it is a fairly common problem that keeps coming up.
What IamSposta recommended would be great - or if not, SOMETHING needs to be there as it keeps happening with newer users.

Wow, I actually deal in contract law so I am not entirely stupid.
What i am getting at is that I understood from the subscription package that it would unlock the players handbook options for character building. In other words, i assumed incorrectly as it turns out, that a subscription would allow me to create a cleric with a domain other than "life" for example.
I understand that an exclusion list would be very long indeed, but that's not my point. I am suggesting that a caveat that purchasing a subscription does not entitle you to access to all options unless those options are purchased.
Not trying to be an antagonist here....... but. As you stated you deal in contract law, does that mean you assume many things when doing so or are you going by the specific wording of the contract?
Nope. But I also expect very clear information when someone looks to sell something to me.
As I said previously, I am done with the conversation. Looking for ways to turn off notifications. No interest in debating with randoms online. I found many of the respondents more than a little scornful.
I do know my stuff and I find much of these guys' information verging on impenetrable.

It's at the top under the tools drop down if you are on pc. For mobile I am not sure.
