A subscription tier that allowed access to all content for as long as you were paying for the sub, like XBOX game pass but with D&D source material.
This would be the new master tier allowing for access to encounter creator, maps (which at the time of writing this is in testing phase), and the ability to share the content with accounts in your campaign so your players can really build the pc they want to make without limitation based on pay walls. This would also incorporate any new features added to the cite as well.
I know at least a few people personally that would not care what the price point was on the monthly plan as long as they could use ALL the source materials and feature on the cite.
I'd like to see the ability to create adhoc tables, and linked tables in Campaign / Home brew options.
I wanted to create some kind of Weather table for Icewind Dale. This would mean that I could have less paperwork at the table.
Also a Journal / note taking mechanism within Campaign so that I could use this toolset rather than having notes in various places. - Maybe even having some kind of notes that can be placed in the Digital content - if this is possible.
That is something that has been suggested (quite often)
As to why we can make custom races, but not classes? One of the reasons is orders of magnitude of complexity. Classes are the single most complex game element and actually define other game elements, whereas races are much simpler as have fewer features and generally not that complex of features. For example, the artificer infusion feature alone is more complex than most races
That makes sense. I just dream big, lol -- thank you!
Being able to manage the Hit Die outside of short rest, or just being able to tick them in the short rest menu without having to actually do a short rest would be really helpful.
I have the feat Dwarven Fortitude on my Dwarf Monk character, and as I'm constantly getting pounded apparently, I have to consume my Ki to do a bonus dodge, then go to the short rest menu to tick the hit die, do a short rest, then go back to my Ki counter to check all those I already consumed to keep track of everything. It's just a pain honestly.
I find that it's hard to make a new character with Races/subclasses that are in books I don't have, but I'm able to do it with books my friends/teammates shared, though I noticed I can only do this through a teammate's existing campaign. Is there a way to do it without having to do that? I'm able to read the books my friends share, so why can't I just make a character with those shared books?

Because those materials are not being shared “with you,” they are being shared with “that campaign.” That’s why you can only access that content within those specific campaigns. What you can do is to create your character in the campaign in which the content is being shared, and then leave that campaign with that character. You can then add that character to any other campaign you wish and it will retain access to the shared content that’s already been added to the character sheet.
My country has a currency that's very depreciated compared to the dollar. Books cost upwards of $240 on average. I can't use this app until the prices are made more acessible to those in other countries.
integration options from different custom map makers such as Dungeon Alchemist
Fix stability with IOS, iphone and ipad. I have 2-4 of my players every week end up with Maps crashing and them loosing access for the session. Even as DM to me and I use a PC.
Integration with "My Encounters"
Integration with player sheets
Status effect and condition trackers for players and monsters
Hide monster names and NPC names from players
My Encounters
Condition trackers
Flag players when it is their turn
Concentration tracker for casters
Integration with Maps so it is easy to identify which monster on the tracker is which monster on the map. Without having to rename them all and have the players see this and break the encounter. They see goblinC but not goblinA now they know there are at least 3 goblins.
Purchased books enhancements
Make the Sources section more like the APP where i can filter to only the books I own.
Please for the love of god! please add a global search option for books I am reading or trying to reference.
Add bookmarks and notes section for source material.
After all this then start working on a world builder functionality. This can be light weight but something would be nice.
Add more 3rd party material to DnDBeyond there are some fantastic 3rd party books out there that would be amazing if they could be added.
Seconded!
Also, the option to sort the adventures by recommended character level.
Hey is there a mod who actually checks this thread? I would love to know which ideas have a chance of being added.

The ability to have more than one DM assigned to a campaign. If more than one person pays for the master tier I don’t see why it would be a problem to link them to the same campaign? My group plays in a home brew world where we have multiple DM’s running sessions and collaborating with each other on the same storylines. We build off of the last session or run our own stories parallel to everything else that’s going on. There are many players playing many different characters depending on the adventure they sign up for. Multiple DM’s seems like an easy thing to make happen.
Also, the item ‘Spell Book’ that you can add spells to so you can give players a number of spells that are are associated with a specific book when the find one in a library or on a wizard.

Yes, except those had to be custom made and are wondrous items. I’ve made spellbooks in the same way as a wondrous item. Unfortunately you have to go and manually add it all to your spell list afterwards and I had to default to the spells all saying “at will” under the description in the spell book because I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work with my spell slots correctly. An official spell book item that i don’t have to custom make and automatically adds the spells to the spells known section when equipped would be nice.
basically, anything i can do with a weapon or attack in roll20 I should be able to do in DNDB. i find it disheartening that there has been very little work done on character sheets since hasbro bought this site.
I just want to say thank you for adding Tome of Beasts 1, glad to see you're cooperating with Kobold Press and looking forward to seeing their other sorcebooks here.
@xuebao61 - custom classes are not going to happen. BadEye said that custom subclasses could be a possibility and something they'd like to do. Very different.
For me... as a reference site, there have been some nice improvements like the feat listing and races list including content that I've purchased. I'd love to see more of that so that I can get a nice aggregate view of the material I own.
The other big thing I want is a character sheet that allows me to essentially "ignore the rules". I play a lot of homebrew games, as such, I need a super flexible character sheet. For example, some of the things I want to be able to do on the character sheet are:
Change the number of spells known
Treat divine spells like wizard spells allowing them to be "learned" and written in spell books
Have multiple spellbooks
Honestly, most things can be hacked with magic items, except for the spell stuff.
1) Filter the sources dropdown menu to my owned content. I shouldn't have to make bookmarks in my browser to the things you've decided aren't important to me when I purchased them because they are.
2) Page numbers in the books. Trying to reference something from a community post where someone uses page numbers, and my collection becomes utterly useless. It's 2024 - inexcusable.

Fix the Extra's page:
1. No rollable statblocks
2. Action blocks are missing (Bonus)
With a druid, trying to manage wildshaping + summon creatures, this is a core part of the class and one of the weakest parts of the character sheet.
