Would it be possible to include codes for this site when buying hard copy version of books? I really like hard copy versions but I also want to be able to use that content here on the site.

It's possible. But the books will likely be $70 or more if they started doing that.
It's possible... but improbable. In addition to what subsistcyber said, what about Roll20? Or Fantasy Grounds? They're all licensed distributors of that content. Should Wizards of the Coast make this offer forgoing all their other licensed distributors? Should Curse try to sell hard copy/digital copy bundles? (again at a higher price)
I can't say it won't happen at all, but the complexity of such a proposal means it will likely not happen in the near future.

D&D Beyond does have one thing those other partners lack... Amazon. ;) Amazon could easily bundle a digital version of the book in with a physical purchase. I doubt there'd be much of a discount (if any), but it would be a pretty awesome win for D&D Beyond.

This would be great. I know a lot of people won't like that they can't support their local stores though. For me this would be perfect because here in the UK there is not many stores that sells D&D books around me (for some strange reason because I know many people who love the game), and I always end up buying books off Amazon anyway. I'd probably be happy paying a 120-150% of the price of a single book if it meant getting a hard and digital copy bundled.

We are paratroopers, private. We are supposed to be surrounded.
I hope it never happens. It would be legitimising all the irrational complaints about it and punishing those who've already bought both books and DDB.
Yes, it would finally legitimize the actual legitimate complain that the IP is being duplicated in two mediums and charged separately.
I understand that the DDB platform has a value to it; but literally all of the content that is printed onto a book (with the fantastic art) is copied and pasted into DDB.
The (false) analogy of audio books versus hard copy does not apply to this scenario as read content has to be individually platformed with voice actors. Please show me the DDB expense of actors. The sheer volume of greed required to do anything with WoTC licensing model overwhelms consumers.

There's a whole development team (including the use of voice actors for the pronunciation on each entry in the Monster Manual) required to create and maintain this website, so there's definitely a fairly significant cost.
You could easily say that an audiobook is, "Just someone recording themselves reading the book"
The constant analogies do more harm than good, because people get obsessed with picking apart why each analogy is wrong in some way, or focussing on an example that invalidates a particular analogy.
The simple fact is that both WotC and Curse need to make money from their products - failing to do so is irresponsible and will lead to the product failing, which I am pretty sure none of us want.

If DDB can offer a product with tons of up features for 71.9887% they will get WoTC as good as Hasbro with only a decade late entry to digital play.
WotC is owned by Hasbro. You'd think if their parent company cared about the digital age so much, that they'd press Wizards to get on it earlier. Also, that game is not $17.99 for a new copy, it's $30.
Theres also something to be said about supporting your local stores by buying hard copies there. Thats one of the best ways of growing the community. DDB strikes me as a service, rather than a distributor, so if it doesn't make sense for you, theres truly no need to buy in. I have books, and I have bought content, and I am very happy with all my purchases.
Monster name pronounciation. there you go, two actors were paid to do thousands of monsters and they will come back for every monsters that are added. Also you have to think outside the box as well... Here in canada in the province i am in, quebec... the hard copies are literally 90$ each ! which is literally twice the price it was 20 years ago. man, do i miss that time where things were much much much cheaper.
this is why i came here, easy getting it, easy UI. even on Roll20 and Fantaisy ground would cost me upward to 50$ per book. where as here it costed me like 30$ per book. 30$ is something i can manage for sure, compared to 90$.
for those who wonder why 90$... hard copies (50$ USD) + USD to CAD (35%) = 67.50$ 67.50$ (CAD) + 15% taxes = 77.75$ Local game store shows the books as 79,99$ CAD, thats before taxes, so lets assume he takes a profit or simply has transit taxes from US to Canada. so its in reality... 67.50$ CAD bumps to 79,99$ because of transit or taxes for importation. so the real price is... 80$ CAD (because i hate the 99 cents who screw it all) + 15% taxes = 92$ CAD per book !
quick question, would you really pay 92$ per book just to have a physical copy ?

I actually quite like the audiobook analogy. But only when coupled with the suggestion for Amazon to do the bundling. I can buy a Kindle copy of a book, and if there is an audio version Amazon gives me a discount for the title on Audible. Not free, just a discount. If they wanted to do the same sort of deal here, that seems a reasonable thing to do. Buy the physical book on Amazon, and get a discount on the D&D Beyond version. Like the Audible version, you're probably still going to pay $10-15 for the D&D Beyond code on top of the book price, but that beats paying full price twice.
The whole point of bundles is to help get everything at the same price or reduced price. Exemple legendary bundle here. If they would bundle hard copy and beyond. It wouldnt be 80... It would more likely be around 70 which is about 15% discount. The point of bundle is that. Now what people dont get is they also have to ship the hard copy and that makes it the same price. The why they never done it.

Arguably, doing it anyway would lead to an influx of customers with buy-in to the DDB product, who would then be more willing to partake in Beyond's subscription services, generating even more money over time. It would also lessen the amount of people who buy a book, learn about DDB, get excited to use it, and then log on to find out they have to buy the content all over again and have a feel-bad moment associated with DDB. Granted, some of those people would still exist, but if there was a combo product people could point to then new players could be directed to it instead and those that failed to buy the combo package would still be able to buy content here separately as a consolation at basically the same cost. Less feel-bad moments all around and Curse gets an influx of ready-made customers to offer subscription services to. Everybody wins.

I still believe discussing this HERE is quite pointless, considering how many times this has been raised.
Curse has relatively little power over this, and they are well aware there is anumber of people that would be very interested in such an option. People are not wrong, they are just barking up the wrong tree at this point.
Those who have the last word on all this are the people over at WoTC, and while Curse can (and I am sure they are) relay the information, I suspect WoTC will not take a definite stance/give a reasoning of their own unless it's their Forum that gets overrun and oveflown with such requests.
Just my 2 cents.

Whats the difference between paying 50$ for a hardcopy PHB and 30$ for DnD Beyond PHB, or paying 80$ for a hardcopy PHB with a code inside?
I think that would be the prices if a code would be included.
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking.
