I'm wanting to build a sniper character that will go to any lengths to kill a target he's payed to. Wanna give him the farthest range I can. I'm thinking just eldritch blast, agonizing blast, eldritch spear, spellsniper, distant spell, but idk. I don't know if a warlock would fit this character.
If I do warlock maye I could have it be he's ruthlessly going after targets his patron assigns? Idk, what do you guys suggest?
Agonising Blast Eldritch Spear You can try considering Lance of Lethargy to slow enemies, and Repelling Blast and Grasp of Hadar to move enemies into/out of AoE to re-trigger or into hazards/off ledges.
Feats
Spell Sniper (double range, ignore half and 3/4 cover). Skulker (so dim light doesn't impose disadvantage, since your targets will be beyond range of darkvision) Elven Accuracy - increase dex or wis or cha. When you have advantage on attack - and you often will - you can reroll a d20, giving you a better chance of hitting and critting. Alert - increase Initiative
For Sorc you need a min 3 levels to take Distant Spell metamagic, to double range. Also get Quickened Spell. You can burn your spell slots to get more uses rather than needing more levels.
For Rogue you need a min 3 levels to be an Assassin - you will be at such distance that surprising enemies will be easy and you can expertise your perception and stealth.
It will also be recommened to be Half-Elf increasing Dex and Wis. For Skill Versaility choose Stealth and Perception.
The end result? You can sneak around and blast enemies from a distance of 1,200 ft away, with keen perception to track them at distance and enough distance and stealth to hide every turn successfully to keep getting advantage. Generally, the first enemy you target you can quicken your blast to use as bonus action as well as action, all on autocrit: 16d10+40. That's an average 128 force damage. Only caveat is you cannot combine the quickened blast with distant spell, so this utter destruction will need to be within the modest 600 ft away. Or perhaps you won't need the bonus blast and can just rely on the single action one: which would still be 8d10+40 or 84 force damage. Going that route and taking EMpowered instead of Quickened could be useful, since you can combine that with Distant no worries and have a better chance of getting higher damage on the rolls. If 600 ft is going to be fine for you, then quickened and empowered would be better.
Just some thoughts.

Just friendly reminder that D&D is a team game. Any time you're sniping a guy from a mile away, everyone else is doing nothing while you roll dice. Unless you let them close first, in which case it's just an elaborate way to not ever get hit.
My point is that "sniper" is a cool concept, but if most of your sniping is happening narratively or "offstage" (and it should be based on what I said above) then you don't actually need to spend that many character resources on it. Get Eldritch Spear or Spell Sniper and call it a day. You'll still have a range that distinguishes you as an impressive sniper.
But if this is just a theoretical build, then carry on.
Make an archer: 3 levels Gloom Stalker Ranger - 3 levels Assassin - everything else in Battlemaster, plus get Sharpshooter. 128 force damage is good, but throw on Hunter's Mark, Dread Ambush and Action Surge and you're looking at around 200hp in the first round and 50-60/round after that. You don't have the range you get with Spell Sniper, but honestly, you're not going to engage enemies from 400 yards away unless your DM feels bad for you and decides to play along.

Also if I do this build, wat other other metamagics and feats should I go for?
Not posting a build but will suggest some things:
Warlock / Sorc / Rogue (Assassin)
Warlock Cantrips: Eldritch Blast
Warlock Eldritch Invocations
Agonising Blast
Eldritch Spear
You can try considering Lance of Lethargy to slow enemies, and Repelling Blast and Grasp of Hadar to move enemies into/out of AoE to re-trigger or into hazards/off ledges.

My homebrew subclasses (full list here)
(Artificer) Swordmage | Glasswright | (Barbarian) Path of the Savage Embrace
(Bard) College of Dance | (Fighter) Warlord | Cannoneer
(Monk) Way of the Elements | (Ranger) Blade Dancer
(Rogue) DaggerMaster | Inquisitor | (Sorcerer) Riftwalker | Spellfist
(Warlock) The Swarm
How about a Wood Elf Assassin with Sharpshooter and a longbow? That gets you a 600ft range without having to spend resources, other than arrows.
Canto alla vita
alla sua bellezza
ad ogni sua ferita
ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty
To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
Homebrew hunting rifle with 900 range, and then max of 5280? Put a scope on it or something lol.
also crossbow expert makes it so you don't roll with disadvantage up to max range with a crossbow (340ft)
Cult of Sedge
Rangers are the best, and have always been the best
I love Homebrew
I hate paladins
Warrior Bovine
Are you thinking Sharpshooter? Crossbow Expert removes the disadvantage for being within 5ft of an enemy.
