Will the Legendary Bundle be cheaper the first week since the PHB, DMG, and MM are on sale for $19.99 each? 15% off of that total with the sale price would be around $255.
No, the Legendary Bundle will not be affected by the first week discount. The price will be always the same.
You still need a "I want all the character creation stuff, but don't want to buy adventures" option in your bulk pricing.
I'd also still strongly encourage a subscription tier that included all content. That "only" $280 to get all the books is a scary upfront cost, especially if you're not convinced how useful the service will be.
You could even tie it to the extended subscriptions, buy three months get a token for a permanent book, but six months, get 2 tokens, buy 12 months get 4 tokens.
This is why you are able to buy one book and the amount you spend counts toward that total if you buy the legendary pack later (source). My plan is exactly that, I'm buying the founders week sale for ~$60, and probably LMoP for ~$15 to see how the content works. If I like it, sweet, i'll buy more, if not, I know and didn't make a huge investment.
Cool to see the discount for long-term subscriptions. $6 a month was reasonable, but ~$4.50 is even better.
I'll echo the need for bundled content out of the adventures. No interest in running them in general, but I'm always in the market for more monsters and items.
-crossing fingers for class and race homebrew options- :)
Love the new pricing stuff. Definitely taking the dive for the Legendary Bundle....after GenCon.
Races and subclasses will be added to homebrew options post-launch, but they are high on the priority list.
What about actual classes, not just subclasses? My players are cool with moving to 5e but want to be able to recreate their 4e classes. I'd also like to be able to bring my DMG classes into DDB.
If I buy a full class for $3.99, do I get all the subclasses that are released for that class, or does it depend on the source? For example, if I bought the Cleric class on the 15th, would I get the subclasses from the PHB plus the Death Domain from the DMG plus whatever is released for the Cleric as part of Xanathar's?

This one was addressed, due to the complexity and ability to have a class do anything that won't be in the homebrew creator. BadEye did mention that they would likely be doing polls on what classes from DMGuild are most wanted and try to add those classes in the future.

The classes without the subclasses are free. They are part of the SRD. So, in a sense, you only buy subclasses with the bundles.
Is purchasing the core books with the first week discount and then purchasing the Legendary Bundle feasible?
Yep any purchases you make before the legendary bundle will then be discounted from the legendary bundle. There is an FAQ that actually has the quote, so you can buy multiple books then decide you have the money for the bundle and they will discount your previous purchase price from the current bundle price.
Not gonna lie, the price points are still all above what I had intended to pay. Especially since it's possible to pay the $280 or whatever for the Legendary Bundle and still be given ads... really think that at that point, you should throw in ad removal and some character slots!
Given the chain of connection between Curse and Amazon, will I be able to pay for this content through Amazon, with gift cards and stuff? I've got a lot of credit stored up for things I enjoy rather than things I need, and that's probably the only way I see myself buying a lot of this material any time soon.

So then, what do you actually get when you buy a full class for $3.99? Is that supposed to mean that each subclass is $3.99? Or does that price only apply to new, non PHB classes like the artificer?

You get the remaining subclasses that aren't a part of the SRD.
Just to be sure I understand-- If at any point, I buy the legendary bundle, all future sourcebook purchases are 15% off, even if I don't keep up with the bundle. Meaning say I buy the bundle. Subsequently, 5 more soucebooks are released. I can decide to only buy 2 of those 5 and still receive a 15% discount on those two.

Is that correct?

Yes, from the source:
In addition to this, if you ever purchase the Legendary Bundle, you will lock in a perpetual 15% discount for every other sourcebook or adventure that you unlock in the future. For example, you buy the Legendary Bundle and get all 13 products. When Tomb of Annihilation comes out (soon!), you will be able to unlock it for $21.25 (15% off the regular price of $24.99). When Xanathar's Guide to Everything releases in November, you can unlock it for 15% off the standard price, and on and on for all new releases.
You buy the bundle you get anything available at the time you buy it, anything in the future is 15% off, but not included in your original Legendary bundle. The Legendary bundle purchase is also updated to reflect the price of the new releases (at 15% off) for those who haven't yet purchased the Legendary Bundle. While the Legendary Bundle doesn't take advantage of any sale prices, it is always a static 15% off, and if you buy it before content is released, that future content is available to you for 15% off still. I would imagine because of this, your 15% off won't "stack" with a 20% off sale that might be going on (like the initial Founders week sale or whatever they're calling it)
What type of limitations will there be with users. For example, I plan on getting the legendary bundle and the master subscription. My wife is interested in the app for the character sheets. Will she also need the bundle and a subscription or can she use mine?

Today I learned that WotC thinks that Sword Coast Adventurers' Guide is a core book. Huh. OK.
(Flippancy aside, the prices look good. Excited for the launch!)
Ok, it’s still a great deal. I’m really looking forward to the 15th. Thank you for the fast reply.
How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?
