We have seen multiple requests for monsters and magic items bundles for adventures, so we have made it happen. You can now unlock only the monsters or magic items as bundles, in addition to unlocking the compendium pages only.
Let us know if you have any questions and we'll try to answer them. Expect more details about Master Tier content sharing tomorrow.
We've also got another terribly-exciting announcement that will come later today!
How does it work if I buy the core books during Founders Week, then in a month or so, buy the Legendary Bundle?
From the Pricing Details, under Previously-Purchased Content Credit
This also applies to the Legendary Bundle. If you buy the three Core Rulebooks while they are on sale the first week, you will be credited ~$60 toward your purchase of the Legendary Bundle. You should probably just take the plunge after that, right?
-crossing fingers for class and race homebrew options- :)
Love the new pricing stuff. Definitely taking the dive for the Legendary Bundle....after GenCon.
Races and subclasses will be added to homebrew options post-launch, but they are high on the priority list.
While this is excellent to hear, where do full-classes land? I have a few players utilizing DMs Guild classes that just won't be able to use this wonderful tool :(

Thanks. I’m not sure how I missed that. This is awesome news. However, I’m sure there will be those that will still complain that they are not getting anything for free.

Full classes are extremely challenging for us to code to anticipate, since they could literally be anything. The existing base classes (especially once the mystic and artificer are out) cover so many character types that we don't see much value in spending months to build out a system that would allow for that kind of customization.
We plan on having some polls on favorite DMs Guild base classes and create the most popular ones for use in D&D Beyond in the future..

That's understandable. Too bad Mystic and Artificer still seem a while off. I believe I saw confirmation that at least Mystic won't be in Xanathar's.
With GenCon right around the corner, I think I am going to def take advantage of the Founders Week pricing and then go grab the year sub at the end of the month.
The cost of any individual elements or bundles you unlock within a particular source will be credited toward the purchase of the full source.

I love this. Thank you for this and all the other thoughtful things you've done.
But I how does this interact with the first week sale price? If I buy the sourcebooks (PHB, DMG, MM, SCAG, VGtM) for $120, and the 8 adventures (PHB, DMG, MM, SCAG, VGtM) for their listed prices at $180 (setting the pennies aside), I get a total of $300. And 15% off of that is $255 (setting the pennies aside). Would subscription payments go towards the discount? Wouldn't that make it more simple to say that Once you've paid us $280, we'll give you a 15% discount on all purchases? Or something like that?

Nice one guys. Always great to see content providers listening to the masses.
That being said, i think I'll just be starting with the three original books and one adventure. Oh, and a year's subscription.
Can't wait...

Some odd reason getting a 404 page not found on the pricing link. Odd because people are obviously seeing the post.

As an aside @BadEye, will you guys be at GenCon?

My 5e Houserule Considerations. Please comment freely.
Looking great! Are the SCAG spells, not that there is a great amount of them, included in the compendium content for that book or elsewhere?
Sounds solid, but there won't be a specific bundle for all the SCAG spells similar to how it has been done in PHB then?
Ok folks, a few minutes later, but I've posted an additional FAQ thread, where I will compile the various questions & answers.
