Thanks Yurei! Actually you can’t get a kneeling two-handed pose like that, I did that, and the scope alignment, all meticulously by advanced pose micromanaging. It started from the genuflection pose. (That’s also how I got a dynamic running two-handed pose for Ellal in post #163. It took me a couple of hours. (Like I said, insomnia was my collaborator on that one. 😐🥱😵💫)
Oooof, yeah. What's especially awful is there's a lot of HeroForge poses where, the moment you start fiddling with the position of the arms? It does some weird alien twists on the limb that can't be undone, once you change off the pose's default settings you're in uncharted territory you can't get back out of without trashing the changes entirely. One of my oldest remaining HF designs is Memory here; I remember spending close to an hour trying to get the right arm to look even remotely correct for 'adjusting her cowl'. Heh, just makes the kneeling marksman pose more impressive.
Here's one of the NPCs I just finished designing for my campaign, trying to get his sword to rest on his shoulder nicely without clipping into things was a bit of a struggle haha
I was just trying to make a Thri-Kreen Spelljammer Bounty Hunter on Hero Forge, and discovered that you can unfortunately not have a character with 4+ arms that can dual wield a weapon (a rifle, at least). Crud. I guess I'll have to figure something else out.

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
You can take it with custom posing. Gimme time and I’ll show you.
I tried to position the arms so both hands would be on the rifle's grip, but it just looked weird. The shoulders were folding into the figure's chest, the other arm was completely out of wack, and the it didn't really work in any of the main poses.
If you have a good solution, I'd love to see it, but I might have to change the idea of the character.

It helps if you get the hands and elbows positioned correctly before the shoulders, don’t for get to adjust the clavicles when necessary, and save in between each step so you don’t have to start all over.
I tried replicating the official art for 5e's Gadabout in Hero Forge. I think I got it pretty accurate, even though there are a few tweaks here and there.

Ohh… nice.
Thank you. (My secret is to save frequently in between each stage of the pose.)

That's really cool! With how finnicky HF posing can be, the fact you can make something like that is amazing :o
Thank you. Yeah, it was finicky alright, but it worked!
